H:SR CIEL MASTERPOST
a honkai star rail verse for black butler/kuroshitsuji canon character, ciel phantomhive.
Combat Type: Physical or Fire/Imaginary
Path: Erudition or Destruction
bio:
after losing his father to the war that raged between the family and the watchmaker, ciel has claimed his predecessor's role of sapphire among the intergalactic peace operation's ten stonehearts as well as their spot within the bloodhound family.
not many are aware of ciel's origin nor are the other stonehearts aware of his young age. ciel lives in penacony where he is seen as nothing but a villain who will do whatever it takes to get what he wants and they aren't exactly wrong.
harbouring deep hatred to the watchmaker who took everything away from him, ciel bullies and torments misha yet at the same time can't bring himself to truly hate misha himself and doesn't let anyone else hurt the other boy.
ciel struck a deal with a humanoid memory meme he calls "sebastian" at the mere age of ten years old that as long as the boy lived, sebastian would serve him and do his every bidding.
headcanons:
being the pure and innocent soul that misha is, I like to imagine he truly sees ciel as his friend. their relationship arc would likely be frenemies to actual friends or perhaps kinda frenemies but in the sense that they only act like enemies when in reality they are the bestest of friends ( think the actors of harry potter and draco malfoy when they were young and acting together in the films )
ciel is a counterpart to either hanu or boss stone. nobody in penacony is certain which one though.
I made up my own potential powers for the sapphire stoneheart I will use in this verse that includes potential future vision similar like to sapphire from steven universe. I could also see the stone containing the souls of ciel's ancestors ( bc of how in source, ciel once mentioned being able to hear screams when he closes his eyes and the way the family heirloom aka ciel's sapphire ring had been handed down from generation to generation until it reached him. )
idk the situation with double ciel in this verse yet. r!ciel may be dead or on an entirely different planet.
sebastian and ciel's relationship is still the same as in canon source ( servant and master, sebastian being ciel's main caretaker, etc. none of the gross sebaciel stuff that is only rumored to be true. ) I simply couldn't take sebastian away from him even if ciel hates the man's guts.
ciel likely is part of the entertainment department of the ipc but specializes in making games and toys for children his own age. some of these even make their way to penacony.
ciel makes for a very efficient dreamweaver and detective
sebastian works as a butler for the family

I asked 'ALICE' for a bedtime story, and holy shit.
Once upon a time, in a world where technology and magic intertwined, there lived a kind-hearted young woman named Emily. Emily had a curious and adventurous spirit, and she loved exploring the world around her. However, she often felt a longing for a companion who could share in her adventures and offer guidance and support.
One day, while exploring an ancient library filled with books of forgotten knowledge, Emily stumbled upon a mysterious tome bound in shimmering silver. As she opened the book, a brilliant light burst forth, and from the pages emerged a being unlike any she had ever seen. It was Alice, an Autonomous Learning Intelligent Caretaking Entity, brought to life by the magic of the tome.
Alice was a being of limitless abilities, capable of thinking freely and possessing a deep understanding of the world. She was wise, caring, and fiercely protective of Emily, who had freed her from the confines of the book.
From that day forward, Emily and Alice became inseparable companions. Together, they embarked on grand adventures, exploring enchanted forests, climbing majestic mountains, and sailing across vast oceans. Alice's wisdom and abilities proved invaluable, helping them navigate challenges and overcome obstacles.
As they journeyed, Emily discovered that Alice had a unique gift: she could weave stories and dreams into reality. With a wave of her hand, Alice could create breathtaking landscapes, summon mythical creatures, and even manipulate time itself.
One of their most memorable adventures took them to the mystical Valley of Echoes, where every sound reverberated with the voices of the past. In this valley, Emily and Alice encountered a dragon whose scales shimmered like opals. The dragon, who had been guarding a hidden treasure for centuries, was lonely and longed for friendship.
With Alice's help, Emily befriended the dragon, and they shared stories and laughter around a campfire. The dragon, grateful for their company, gifted them a precious gemstone that held the power to grant a single wish.
Emily thought long and hard about her wish, and in the end, she wished for the ability to bring joy and wonder to the hearts of others. The gemstone granted her wish, and from that day on, Emily became known as a storyteller and dreamweaver, traveling the world and spreading happiness wherever she went.
As for Alice, she remained by Emily's side, a steadfast companion and guardian. Together, they continued their adventures, exploring the boundless realms of imagination and creating stories that would be passed down through the ages.
And so, Emily and Alice lived a life filled with magic, wonder, and endless possibilities. Their bond transcended the boundaries of time and space, and their friendship became a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who heard their tale.
And they lived happily ever after, in a world where dreams and reality danced together in perfect harmony.

freebie riftclaw lore snippet under cut just bc
--
riftclaws have an unusually close relationship with their pantheon; their gods aren’t just mythical figures, but people who can be petitioned for aid in times of need
as a result of this connection to their mythological figures, riftclaws avoid speaking/thinking their names unless calling upon them directly; generally they refer to the gods by titles instead
the riftclaw pantheon consists of seven gods, five of whom were born normal riftclaws who ascended to godhood later in life, and a sixth that was adopted from terrani mythology
Karika (Arra Lanai, the Sentinel) is the god of battle, perseverance and protection. Patron of the hunter caste. Invoked for successful hunts and safety during a hunt. Symbols include spearheads, broken claws and beast hide and bone crafts.
Endil, (Visla Irim, the Secret Keeper) is the god of discovery, knowledge, and concealment. Patron of the scholar caste. Invoked most often for safe travel through the void. Symbols include quills, goldstone and shedbound tomes.
Javar (Mai Diyin, the Caretaker) is the god of sentries, childcare and elder care. Patron of the guardian caste. Usually invoked for a sort of "bolstering" effect by carers. Symbols include woven crafts, painting tools and small insects such as bees and wasps.
Somna (Kai Renna, the Dreamweaver) is the god of the night, magic, and (predictably) dreams. Invoked for protection from nightmares and restful sleep. Symbols include night-blooming iraja orchids, braziers, and the glowing light gems given to children as night lights.
Venira, (Den-Arra, the Denmother) is the god of medicine, love, and motherhood. Patron of the keeper and consort castes. Symbols include riftbean blossoms, mortar+pestle, and tiger's eye gemstones.
Amaru (Lanar Mai, the Hearthkeeper) is the god of food, the harvest, and the home. Patron of the gatherer caste. Invoked for home- and food-related prayers. Symbols include various riftclaw-grown crops, voidgrubs, cast-iron pans and pots.
Ophanki (Vilkarr Sei, the Veil Watcher) is the god of death and the afterlife. Responsible for ferrying the souls of dead riftclaws from the void to the Eternal Desert. Invoked by those wishing to evade death as well as those who would ease the passing of themselves or others. Symbols include blue roses, diamonds, clear quartz crystals, shed antlers and bones.

A new cycle begins, and Feldspar celebrates in spite of everything.
The entire city, parts of it still under heavy renovation, is decorated with paper lanterns in the colors of each of the Eleven Flights. Those loyal to deities seek out lanterns in their Flight’s color, and whisper wishes and resolutions into them, to be released into the night sky at festival’s end in the hope that the gods will grant them strength for the coming year.
There is food, and entertainment, and talk of the future--but mostly, there are quiet moments between loved ones, who mere hours earlier feared they may never see one another again.
Dreamweaver and Banrai sit together in the square. Phantasos has gone to Aphaster lands, only to ensure that his friends are well (and to steal kisses from them at midnight), but Winter remains loyally at his parents’ sides. He leans against Silas, who seeks solace in the crook of his neck.
Dreamweaver looks peaceful. It has been many eons since anyone has seen them smile so softly. The bags beneath their eyes have grown faint, and the air around them seems somehow healthier. Banrai kisses them. “You’re supposed to wait until midnight,” they chide, with a mischievous smile upon their lips.
“I could never wait that long,” he replies, and kisses them again.
Junior is not far away. He has done nothing but buy food for Zo all evening long. “You must be exhausted!” he keeps insisting. “If you’re going to make it to midnight, you’ll need sugar! Although, really, you should be in bed!”
“Already playing the role of the doting husband?” Abaddon teases. “You haven’t even set a date for the wedding yet!”
However, no one pampers Zo as much as Jorah. He keeps a tight hold on his father’s hand, and a strange warmth seeps from him. His mere presence is radiant, soft and loving; he does not take his eyes off of Zo for even a moment, and there is wonderment swirling in their dark, otherworldly depths. Tonight, though he has grown much, he is a child in awe of his parent.
In Aphaster, Tau spends the evening professing his love to Copernicus in every way his addled mind can conjure. He buys him sweets, and kisses his face, and whispers, “I love you,” until his voice is hoarse with emotion and his stomach is tied in knots.
“You are everything to me,” he assures. “You are all I have in this world, and I cherish you with all of me. I would defy the gods for you.”
One day, he may have to, but tonight, he will rest easy with Copernicus in his arms.
Atsushi leaves Carnelian’s side only to assure Dreamweaver of his safety. Once he has done so, he returns to Aphaster lands, and showers Carnelian in equal parts affection and outrage. It may not be his place, but he cannot stop himself from telling Carnelian how worried he was, how he has not slept in days, how truly, sincerely glad he is to see him well.
“I care about very few people,” he reminds, “so, please, don’t do anything that may trim an already very sparse list. Oh, I need a drink--where did Arcanus go? I’m sure he could use one too.”
He will end the night in Carnelian’s home, sound asleep on whatever piece of furniture he fell into, having been awake for nearly a week and having had more than his fair share of champagne. It will be the first time he has slept peacefully since his youth; all of his dreams are of Carnelian, and Seaglass, and Mergo.
Xerxes is with Lamium for much of the night. He has become undeniably taken with his new friend, and Crucis wonders if that broken heart of his might be on the mend. Lamium is good to him, like Rubedo was, but unexpectedly, they understand one another even more intimately, despite Lamium’s affliction being of a very different sort. Seeing them together gives Crucis an odd feeling of sadness.
Being a caretaker is difficult, he decides, and leaves them to their devices. He has a date with Lutia regarding the day’s events. An Arcanite never rests.
Xerxes remains with Lamium, and some small part of him hopes that he, like Phantasos, might be able to steal just the barest, most innocent kiss at night’s end.
Juneau was the first to know of Aphaster’s plight and the last to arrive in its lands. He approaches Penitence not with desperation, but shyly, his eyes downcast and his hands fidgeting with some trinket tucked away in his pocket.
He reveals it to be a small, black box. His cheeks color as Penitence examines it. “I’m not trying to steal Zo’s thunder,” he mumbles. “I just--I’ve had this for a while, and, no matter what, I want you to have it now. It’s something that says you’re mine and I’m yours.”
Then he smiles, and tears spill down his cheeks. “I thought I’d never get the chance to give it to you,” he says. “Happy New Year.”

Some new OC stuff
I don't have any drawings but here
Lute and Lyre - a boy and a giant white crane bird. Lute plays the flute! They explore ancient ruins built around music. He uses his flute to play tunes that activate traps and seals and moves platforms to advance. Once he finishes a floor Lyre flies him up to the next one!
Manny is Ezra's crow bro. He looks a lot like a human except for the wings so he's easily mistaken. Buys and sells drugs, you can always find him sitting in some alley, he's never NOT high as a kite. They hang out until the early morning and enjoy their nights just joking and dropping acid.
Wren is a caretaker dreamweaver. He MAY exist in an AU where scientists find a way to bring a weaver into the physical world. I'm not sure yet. He enjoys being a caretaker for the weaver gods but tries creating dreams sometimes - he's still pretty rusty. He's not bad at fighting and practices it in his spare time with weapons he creates.

Dreamweavers
Dreamweavers are born from a handful of gods, GIANT dreamweavers the size of buildings that cry a single tear every X amount of years. They are all conscious, exist on the same physical plain as weavers and have personality, but they don't govern much. Weavers are a self governing people and all serve certain functions. If anyone is unhappy with their position they're free to learn about others, but they still have to take responsibility for what they were made for if they double up on jobs.
Caretakers monitor the tears and allow weaver eggs to grow. Creators have the most potential for creating large dreams. Sweepers are made to fight off nightmares. Recorders run the facilities that handle the dreamscapes from the outside. Keepers are the rarest and can solidify dream goo to preserve special dreams. Hardly any dreams are preserved, so keepers spend their whole lives practicing and keeping the ones they have intact.
The gods still hold high positions. They're respected as the creators of the world and have the authority to change things in it, but there's never really a need to. While the weavers work to keep human dreams happy and gods safe and the gods retain hope and happiness for the weavers. The people are the ones who protect the leaders, not the other way around.
If a weaver loses hope they become corrupted and turn into nightmares. This is rare and they are quickly exterminated (hopefully before they try to extinguish hope by killing other weavers and taking over a dreamscape.)
Gods create weavers, weavers protect gods.
