My daydream is harassing me so some ideas:

I want to make an anon fic that revolves around an alternate universe of content creator Tommyinnit (in basically the worst world where he dies at the age of 26), Death offers him the ability to go back and fix it for another him, and he basically gets reborn. He gets psychic flashbacks all the time and most of it revolves on the drama and worst things the community and his friends ever done in a world that's a mix of cc! and c! dreamsmp. Instead of ignore them, he tries his best to help prevent all of it from happening in the first place. And everyone just thinks he has some mental illness, which isn't totally wrong but.

Fic includes:

-Disgruntled mentor in the form of a crazy cat lady and local witch.

-Wicca/paganism/witchcraft!

-Time travel fix-it plus alternate universe travel.

-Fandom discourse!

-Death and him have a.......interesting relationship.

-other things idk.

Thinking back to that one post about imagining that you have already lived this life but asked to be sent back to relive it again. I was touched by that post before, but it's only now that I can also truly relate to it. Now that I'm realizing I've been given by Prime a chance to relive my life, that I'm back, I'm back again. To life. That I've risen from death again and escaped the hell that was DreamSMP and that I get to live out a childhood again, I get to grow older again, I get to live, live, live as myself again, live another life. Reborn, risen. I could die tomorrow and it wouldn't matter because I would know that Prime always gives secons chances and that the Universe is kind.

I feel like I've just been born today. I might mark this as my real birthday. Gamers truly don't die, they respawn.

Phil, Techno, and Death

And their connections to each other

I’ve low key been thinking about Phil, Techno, and Death (Mumza) and had a realization

If Mumza is death and Phil is death’s angel then Techno should be death’s blade

Death

Basically it’s a popular head canon (and is somewhat implied canon by Phil) that Mumza / Kristin is death or the goddess of death. This is partially due to the idea that while Techno was referred to as the blood god during SMP earth, Phil was referred to as the Angel of death. It transferred over to the DreamSMP and it was brought up that what if “Angel of death” wasn’t an Angel who brings death, but death’s angel. And who better for phil to be an Angel to than Mumza.

Phil / Death’s Angel

A very interesting thing I found about Phil’s character is while he call him the Angel of death, death’s Angel, he has actually only killed one person (canonically) - Wilbur.

Wilbur I-Just-Blew-Up-An-Entire-Country-Please-Phil-Kill-Me Soot. It could honestly be described as somewhat of a mercy kill.

To me at least, Death’s Angel would be a much more merciful killer. Think the personifications of death that are merciful, that rock dying animals to sleep in their arms, lead scared children away from the living world with their hand in theirs. Death’s Angel is kind in death, a fatherly figure in ones last moments. Sounds like the kind side of Phil’s character.

As to the more chaotic side- he’s still his own person, and is technically mortal, though he’s lived for a very long time, that would make a man chaotic.

On that topic- Phil is technically mortal in the sense that he can die, but he ages much much slower than the average person. He has only ever had 1 canon life, after each life he reunites with mumza until he is reborn to another place.

In one of his last lives he was killed by a baby zombie.

Techno / Death’s Blade / Blood God

While Phil is Death’s Angel, Death’s Mercy - Techno is Death’s Blade, her wrath. Unlike Phil he is not reborn - he has lived one (very long) life (hence technoblade never dies). However unlike Phil he doesn’t age, which is why he calls Phil old.

After SMP Earth, he had retired to far off floating islands, where he settled down and set up a farm, until mumza called on him again.

Unlike Phil, Techno has many canon kills. Tubbo, Schlatt, Quackity, Quackity again, and is a renowned warrior, unbested. Again works with the idea of being death’s blade, death’s warrior, death’s wrath.

He has 3 canon lives because he was a normal piglin brute (or just pig idk) before he was chosen, which stopped his aging and gave him abilities (made him a player) and because he isn’t reborn, he only has one life, so him having 1 life and being in the heat of battle all the time doesn’t make sense.

Basically Phil and techno know each other because they work together and under death’s command. They are Yin and Yang of mercy and wrath.

I love this theory and I will not be taking criticism thank you very much. (I actually will if you have any questions or want to nitpick specifics I will very gladly elaborate I love getting into those specific questions about headcannons)

(Also if anyone has ideas for what ranboo, niki, Wilbur, or another member might be feel free to add on) (I just feel like ranboo niki and Wilbur would be the most likely)

okay so this is a random question but i’m still trying to conceptualise how people travel through worlds (smplive to smpearth to dreamsmp). so we’ve established that upon reaching the new world you loose all your memories, but do you still have the same personality or have things changed? e.g. if a character realised they were queer in one world, upon transferring would they go through that realisation process again or are the basic foundations already there?

the general idea is that you are reborn and go through the same internal changes but in a different environment. so yes, you keep the same personality, and will usually find yourself drawn to similar interests/people, etc.

in your example, yes! a queer character who realized they were queer in one world would go through the same self-discovery process in another world. it might come quicker to them if they get back some of their memories, or if they see familiar people, or it might come later because of their circumstances. they're still the same person, and have the same traits, and therefore, are still queer, however, the speed at which they realize it, the circumstances, etc, is what will change

essentially, you're the same person but lose your memories (bar a few special cases, like techno or phil who remember everything, or wilbur and tommy who have dreams about their past lives). you will eventually grow into the same person, but the environment may change you slightly. compare wilbur in smplive and the dreamsmp, for example. still the same guy, but in the latter, something pushed him over the edge and he became the villain he ended up. in the first, he was just a little paranoid - and that paranoia lead him to some mistakes at most, but not the horrible acts he commits in the present.

i've been trying to make a warriors au centered around a different series (dreamsmp) but one of the main plotpoints is that a character gets revived. my current idea was to have him be reborn with all his memories into a new body but.. idk. do you have any suggestions? ty!

While I am aware of Dreamsmp, and enjoy adjacent minecraft youtubers, I have actually little to no knowledge about Dream himself so Im not sure I can help you with that particular storyline itself. As for the general idea of revival, I guess its up to you! Do you want it to be more similar to a cinderheart situation? Or do you want the character revived into an adult body? If they are revived as a kit, I cant imagine how uncomfortable an adult mind would feel in a kit's body, especially with all the memories of their past life. I guess it also partially depends on your worldbuilding for starclan and the afterlife. Which Im sure will be convoluted in adding Dreamsmp lore. I think honestly best option is to look at the surrounding circumstances, and work from there, because Im sure there are many elements of the plot to consider as well.

The skies watched as gods were born. It watched as the gods cultivated the world.

The gentle kindness of the forest day. The silent patience of the darkest creatures. The loneliness of the lifeless city.

The careful sorrow of the void. The twin powers of violence. The skies watched as the gods ripped one sibling from another. It watched as one survived, alone and bitter. It watched as the other withered, cold and empty.

It watched the void cry out that day, at the loss of a friend.

The sand stopped moving that day. The void couldn't figure out why.

The skies watched as loneliness made a wish that day. A wish to bring back a friend. And forgot about it the next. It watched as loneliness changed it's mind. Wished for companionship instead. The skies watched as violence wished for the return of a brother. The skies watched as a god was reborn. It watched as the god of the dark forests tripped himself over with guilt. It watched the reborn climb his way to the top once more. Changed but yet the same. Falling down a path of boredom and manipulation. With violence by it's side. Oh how history repeats itself.
