I’m so stoked on this fan art by @solustrations from a couple weeks ago. The original image is a photo taken by a friend, @_ixtara at the top of Multnomah Falls just outside of Portland, OR in 2015. We were on a poetry tour up the West Coast and as I was like to do, I nodded off while writing a few haikus in this waterproof journal I had just purchased a few days before. The photo so beautifully captured the essence of the Dream Poet. Half awake, pen still held firm against the page, back against a thousand year old Douglas Fir, with the sounds of the stream and the waterfall not too far. To see it recreated here with all these additional points of inspiration, actually has me trippin’! This is the yogic position for the mind to unwind and produce some surrealism.
