At last, beautiful people, I AM ALIVE!!

Life has been tough for these last couple of weeks, but I finally got the time to finish this piece for @chewytran's DTIYS!

Hopefully I won't crawl back under the rock and die (again, lolol), but my schedule is killing me right now, so we'll see. In the meantime - hope you enjoy this little peace offering, hehe :33

Hey…. It’s been a while since I posted any kind of art here to Tumblr. I apologize very deeply-

😓 I gotta be honest with y’all, I’ve been enduring an extreme battle with my mental health as of recently. You will all be happy to know, I am seeking therapy. But… yeah. I haven’t had the mental energy to post anything on here really…

Until now. I’ve fought myself on an off about whether or not I wanted to share this… But you know what? I’m going through it,

I need something to make me smile, so forgive me for producing a rather self indulgent piece of art.

Amidst these difficult times I’ve been facing, about a week ago, I received a visit from both Acchan and Issay in my sleep. 🥹🌸✨♾️

It started out completely pitch black. Like I was travelling through some abyss. And at the end, there was a tiny white light. The gentle echoes of a voice, beckoning me to “wake up”. I surfaced into a world that was nothing but clouds and endless blue skies for hundreds of miles. I woke up… ans looking down at me was Issay. 🥹who gleamed at me with the warmest of smiles. I nearly jumped ten feet!! As I sprung up, I was greeted by Acchan too . I didn’t know how to feel, how to react…8 had so many questions. But the pair remainder silent… before drawing me. I was sandwiched into this tight, but heartfelt embrace. No words were exchanged… I just froze. And they kept their silence, until Acchan let me go…

Issay pressed a kiss to my forehead- light, bittersweet, pained… but with so much love I could feel. They both kissed me… as they sent me off with these words:

“We are so proud of you….”

Everything faded to white. I woke up in a cold sweat and spent that entire day a complete emotional wreck.

But even as I sat with so much resurfaced pain and grief… from the 2 days where my entire world completely turned upside down. I knew I had to capture what happened. I couldn’t allow myself to forget, even if their message to me… I’m unable to fully feel in my heart. I wanted to turn my grief into something positive. And I’m so proud of myself that I did.

Acchan, Issay-san…. Thank you. So much. For everything. I promise, if you 2 are still watching- I WILL make you proud. ♾️✨🌸 the both of you.

I drew Yuuki's OB design to distract myself from my slowly growing depression 🫠

Ngl this was very therapeutic to draw

Yuuki's OB design is a reflection of their school-self before they were in twst. The eyes around them represent everyone in their school/family as they judged them for the interests and looks. Each sword that is in Yuuki's body in this form is where they would sh.

After Yuuki's OB, they didn't talk or interact with anyone for a week, and their eyes were much more tired and turned almost black. As Yuuki started to heal, the blackness went away.

Progress has been slower this last week ngl. Uni is unfortunately a right bitch sometimes. But I'm still chipping away at this project (Drawing the floaty lil tHatW dress is so therapeutic!)

Some self indulgent art to push through the art block + some experimental rendering that I wanted to try out :D Wanted to share the version I liked most, the colors without desaturation, and using the soft light blending effect.

Ngl, the process of shading the drawing was pretty therapeutic in a way. It was that kind of feeling of calm concentration that I’d get when in my painting class back in college. Feeling pretty good with how it turned out ^ ^
