So Trump's DOJ is suing the state of Washington because WA's new mandated reporting law says that clergy (among many other professions) are legally obligated to report ongoing child abuse if they know about it. And the Christofascists in the Trump regime call that "anti-catholic"
And all I can think of is this iconic post

Remember that time Kotaro had a girlfriend, and then she neverrrr appears again?! 🤡🤡🤡
Yeah…… ((I sincerely thought that she was his cousin at the beginning of the show. No actually, it was so hilarious, because I was like “why tf is he being so love-y Dove-y with his Cousin?!!” 🤨🤨🤨))

My VIZ Originals one-shot with @invisiblesandwich can now be read for free on the VIZ website and app!!
SUNSET CARD BATTLER is a tokusatsu love letter by way of Canada and Brazil, with equal amounts of rubber-suited monsters and raw emotion.
Alex Knights is the new girl at HASTE, an organization devoted to unravelling the mystery of 4D Sunsets and the monsters that come with them. Alex joined because the Card Battlers' previous leader was killed while saving her brother. Now she needs to prove herself -- before she gets left behind.
For fans of tokusatsu like Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Gridman the Hyper Agent, Super Sentai, and maybe even a bit of Eva as well.

IM SORRY-?!!
SINCE WHEN-??!!! 👁️👄👁️⁉️🫨😦😱😱😱😱
DO YOU KNOW. . .?
Probably I never spoke about it here and I don't honestly know why, but!
If you're wondering who inspired Issay to became a vocalist in a band, you would be surprised, that it weren't David Bowie, or Jim Morrison. It was a popular British band called SEX PISTOLS, and of course, T-REX.
In interview from September 2002, where he talked about his unit HAMLET MACHINE, he said:
"If not for the SEX PISTOLS and T-REX, I don’t think I would’ve done it. Up until I came into contact with them, I’ve only been listening to music because I liked it, but I’ve never thought of making it myself. I’ve said this a lot, but when I heard T-REX and the SEX PISTOLS, I got this huge misunderstanding that if this is music, even I can do it."
Probably the most amazing fact for me in this all, is that he literally talked with them.
As a SEX PISTOLS fan, I feel jelaous that he could see them in real life, lmao.

"Conversation"
Tribute to Atsushi Sakurai of Buck-Tick
This is probably one of the longest I've worked on a single piece in a long time. It took me a lot of tries to make his likeness and atmosphere as close as possible to the image in my head. And I am very happy with the result!

HOLY SH*T!! 🤯 6 BOOKS A DAY, PER WEEK?!!!!!
Dude, that’s insane! 😲 no wonder he was so witty as well!
DO YOU KNOW. . .?
When Issay was in school, because of his situation at home, he really loves going to the library. As he said, he doesn't have much to do, too afraid of his father to leave his room, so he reads. Reads a lot.
He borrowed books and finished it in one day, and calculating all of this, he was reading 6 books during week (he borrowed biggest ones for weekend, just to finish them during it).
I can't be surprised why he's so smart.

Okay actually question for the kamen rider people more knowledgeable than me. To my knowledge there was a like pretty substantial gap of time between Kamen Rider Super 1 and Kamen Rider Black and I'd like to know was there a particular reason for that? (Ignoring the ZX special I mean more like the full length shows here) Did super 1 do like particularly really bad or was it originally meant to be a conclusion to the franchise as a whole? Were people just generally tired of Kamen Rider in the 1980s? Were there production behind the scenes reason for Black coming out after a long period of time? Okay thank you goodbye.

In honor of Juneteenth, I compiled some great songs by black artists
I highlight genres other than rap/hip-hop, as I don't see them get enough love from non-black people. If the list seems overwhelming, I'd recommend picking a genre of your liking, or the songs marked blue, which are my personal favorites. Hopefully, you find some new music and add a couple of these to your playlists
Jazz: Lester Leaps in [Live at Carnegie Hall] by Charlie Parker (1949); The Star-Crossed Lovers (aka Pretty Girl) by Duke Ellington (1957); Springsville by Miles Davis (1957); Speak No Evil by Wayne Shorter (1966); The Black Messiah [Live at The Troubador] by Cannonball Adderley (1971)
Vocal Jazz: Unforgettable by Nat King Cole (1954); Autumn in New York by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong (1957); Lover Man by Billie Holiday (1958); Don't Go To Strangers by Etta Jones (1960); Work Song by Nina Simone (1967)
Soul: I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin (1968); Tired of Being Alone by Al Green (1971); Grandma's Hands by Bill Withers (1971); Home Is Where The Hatred Is by Gil Scott-Heron (1971); Someday We'll All Be Free by Donny Hathaway (1973)
Funk: That Lady, Pts. 1 & 3 by The Isley Brothers (1973); Summer Madness by Kool & The Gang (1974); I Want You by Marvin Gaye (1976); Some Love by Chaka Khan (1978); Dreaming About You by The Blackbyrds (1994)
Disco: You Saved My Day by Cheryl Lynn (1978); Good Times by CHIC (1979); Hot Stuff by Donna Summer (1979); Give It To Me Baby by Rick James (1981); It Should Have Been You by Gwen Guthrie (1982)
R&B: Nights (Feel Like Gettin' Down) by Billy Ocean (1981); Outstanding by The Gap Band (1982); Sweet Love by Anita Baker (1986); Real Love by Mary J. Blige (1992); I Get Lonely by Janet Jackson (1997)
Neo Soul: Lady by D'Angelo (1995); Didn't Cha Know by Erykah Badu (2000); Locked Inside by Janelle Monáe (2010); Where Did I Go? by Jorja Smith (2018); Stay High by Brittany Howard (2019)
Alternative: Charcoal Baby by Blood Orange (2018); umbrellar by Dua Saleh (2020); All My Girls Like To Fight by Hope Tala (2020); Neptune by We Don't Ride Llamas (2022); Outta My Mind by chlothegod (2023)
Listen and support black musicians, and the black people around you, specially those close to you. Listening to music is not doing enough to support or boost black people's voices, so, please read and share what they have to say, particularly today, while also respecting and immersing yourself in their art and culture

steven is a really funny character actually. he never went to school. one of his powers is astral projection for no real reason. hes a musical prodigy. he was so traumatized by the end of the show they had to make an entire epilogue series about it. he spent seven years looking like a 3rd grader. he was even bisexual

Bro, it breaks my heart to see Kotaro crying, but this shit is SO GOOD.😭😭😭😭🖤🖤🖤🖤
Finally got this done!! Based on a scene from my own fanfic, Like a Rolling Sea Sickness, where I got so sad that none of the other showa riders appeared until RX to help Kotaro and attempted to fix this with a post-Black guilt session between Hongo and Kotaro.
If you've finished KR Black or don't mind spoilers, You can read it here!
