#arcane#mel merdarda#my art#had fun with the textures#drawing arcane fanarts and i starting to feel a bit too aware of some my short comings art wise#there's a lot of details. and the noses i'm having trouble simplifying them while keeping their neat shapes#ive gotten really comfortable with the ones i draw lol#it's fun tho it's good practice and i get to draw characters i love while im at it#on another note ive been wanting to draw a whole comic again. it would be a bit long and also mel made me realized im used to draw#idiots making goofy expressions and all that so mel being so distinguished and composed and everything im wondering if i can do her justice#the way she emotes can be really subtle and idk how good i can represent that in a comic#i dont want her to look too ooc either#i dont want to over panel??? i always over animate characters in my head. i love micro expression and all the details of body language and#everything but always has to reduce it when making comic otherwise it'll have a really weird pacing and be more of a storyboard than a comic#and arcane!!! there's sm micro expression and all the details i love!!! and i want to draw it like that so bad!! aghhh#many thoughts about art and feelings rn
