So this is a minisode from an awesome online series called Bravest Warriors and I have a slight obsession so I wrote a slam poem written from the point of view of Sir Jeffers.

Rebecca. By Sir Jeffers

Rebecca. I’ll never forget her. Just the mere mention of her name, And I’m dropping sugar peas all over the place. Meeting Rebecca was the best thing that ever happened in my short stickly life, She was the prettiest girl in Brooklyn. Her figure, was… is outstanding. She has eyes that with only a mere glimpse of them, make you ready to share a costly pasta meal.  She has red lips that could smack the pepper right out of you. And a small tuft of blonde hair that always fell perfectly into place. She was harmony. She made me feel like everything was OKAY! When we first started dating,  I would make her endless supplies of soft tacos  And listen to her giggle as we sipped on our big ol’ beer. But then everything changed. Chad. Chad came around. I could tell by her face, The glint in her pasta eyes, I knew I lost her instantly. He came in,  Swooped her away,  and just like that we were no more. So there I was, Falling for a girl, Who ran away with my brother. So now all I can do is lay in my room, Fall asleep, dream of her, Wake up and do nothing about it. One day maybe she’ll see how much she means to me. One day maybe she’ll be more than my favorite “what if?” One day maybe she’ll know I never stopped loving her. Rebecca. The prettiest girl in Brooklyn. Owner of my heart. And me. The gas powered stick who ran out of gas.
