Cdramas I watched in 2024 List

(dramas with gifs are excellent/great and actually worth watching in my opinion. The others are not, watch at your own risk)

My Boss (2024)-There were a couple of turns in this drama that I wasn't crazy about. But they were cute when they were cute. The cases made no sense.

Fake It Till You Make It-realistic romance. Almost to the point where he's kind of unlikeable. But it's kind of hot too.

My Piggy Boss-cute mini. Loved it.

Have a Crush on You-another mini. fun

Secretary Bai Wants To Resign Everyday-a mini. He's so hot.

Admist a Snowstorm of Love-he had serial killer eyes. That's how much he loved her. FROM FIRST SIGHT. If you want a mature romance where Leo was all over her every CHANCE he got. Here's the show. Boring ass billards aside. The skinship was top tier.

My Special Girl-forgettable tbh but not bad.

Just Spoil You-mini kinda fun.

Golden House Hidden Love-that ending pmo. He's so fine though.

Love Me Love My Voice-high production quality. Cringey like love020 but easier to sit through. Better acting too.

Story of Kunning Palace-couldn't stand this female lead. She sucked. And I don't know what she saw in SML. She was stuck on him forever. When the ML was right there morally grey and HOT.

Love is Sweet-rewatch

Only 4 Love-she was big LIAR towards the end for no reason. And they gave Dylan no reason to be liked.

The Substitute Princess's Love-eh

The Legend of Shen Li-Made me cry in the first 6 episodes. He became a little annoying once they weren't on earth. But happy ending and still pretty good.

Born To Run-TEARJERKER but beautiful story. The mom on the right deserved a worse fate.

Blossoms in Adversity-Mature FL and flawed but strong quiet ML. Really strong storyline and comfortable romance.

I May Love You-he didn't like that girl. And when he did I didn't care. Love Miles though usually.

Falling Into You-although they ignore a GLARING mental illness moment. The skinship was PEAK. The romance was good when it happened and they remained strong. Anyu looks super young here but she doesn't look as old as people make it seem. I loved them both.

Men in Love-so bad I didn't finish. Most wishy washy FL ever. She really pmo bad.

Moon Love-mixed feelings. Because low budget but sweet and sad at the same time.

Meet Yourself-long winded and boring in a comfortable way. But that's the kind of dramas she does. Very slow slice of life. Sweet. Worth it.

Wonderland of Love-Mr. And Mrs Smith levels of insane chemistry but he loved her way more than she loved him and it was obvious to the point where it made it not fun. She was kind of self centered, he came second and usually third.

You are My Secret-I didn't like the way she took things that happened at work out on him.

The Unexpected Marriage-cute enough

Love Scenery-cute time passer.

Are You the One-chemistry was so good. I know people hate the lying aspect but I'm sorry it makes sense. These two deserved. One of the best of the year. Need them in another drama together.

Melody of Golden Age-I enjoyed this. Really made Ding appeal to me on another level. I think the ending was stumble-y but I enjoyed for the most part.

Fateful Love-it was okay for the first like 30 and then... eh not bad.

19th Floor-one of the top of the year. It's this year's Reset. It did get a little shakey towards the end but that because it had so many episodes. Still great.

Love Like the Galaxy-I DID NOT like this and Idk how anyone else did. But it has plenty of fans, it wont miss me. She "settled" for him and he loved her to the point of insanity. Idk what he saw, she kind of sucked. He had to watch her love someone else for waaay too long.

Forever and Ever- I didn't watch the prequel show because I didn't want to put myself through the sadness. This could be considered boring but it was a comfortable boring. I enjoyed it. She LAID THIS BOY DOWN EVERY CHANCE SHE GOT. lol

As Beautiful You-It was okay. The business parts are so long and boring. Xu Kai was so fine.

Miss J-Fun, quirky, and charming.

In Blossom-I enjoyed it. Idk why people complain about Fl's acting. It was fine.

A Journey to Love-sigh I gave in and watched it because of the chemistry that oozed off the gifsets and I wasn't disappointed. These two need another show together that ends HAPPY.

All in all a good year for my drama consumption. Let's see what next year brings!

What are people’s thoughts on Finnick/Nick Wilde?

been looking through the internet and i’ve discovered a bit of a stigma against Finnick/Nick Wilde, most common argument is that not everything has to be gay (understandable,WildeHopps is pretty good) and there can and SHOULD be normal male friendships in media without looking into it as something else, so there’s not a ton of media on the Ship.

Now since i recently decided the ship was OK and actually kinda nice if written properly, i’m quite neutral on the subject.

I’m wondering what are people’s thoughts on Finnick/Nick Wilde? Why do you not like it?

Guys literally have to mainsplain everything because they really can't accept someone turned them down (even though there's nothing to turn down, but that's how they see it) or have a different opinion than them. If you don't have a vagina you literally cannot express how something feels for a vagina owner. Plus everyone likes different things anyways.

Every once in a while I see a fandom related take that infuriates me. I'll read it and immediately get annoyed, then click reply/reblog to leave some passive aggressive comment to refute someone's opinion that I disagree with.

Then I'll realize I can't actually refute an opinion since it's, you know, an opinion, and someone having an annoying opinion doesn't hurt me or my fun in any way.

Then, I'll discard the passive aggressive reply and keep scrolling, forget about that take and instead focus on stuff I like.

It's actually way more fun for everyone involved this way.

Ghost trick au! Love a good ghost trick au! I reread this recently and it still holds up so well, still so good even if unfinished. Haven't played ghost trick since, some of the twists make a hair more sense - especially the twist in the last chapter posted and being like 'OH IT'S *THE* GHOST TRICK'. Shoutout to undead creepiness and cute kitties :3

Kissing this one on the mouth. Only one chapter and unfinished, but it's a long chapter and really makes you go 'whoa'. It's interesting because the summary *technically* gives you more info than the chapter itself, but it's that kind of dramatic irony that fits the writing so well. A good solid McGucket POV too, which there really isn't enough of. Tbh, it stands okay almost as a one shot? I wish this became a whole popular au like all the others, bc it kicks ass as a concept.

Finding the Right Frequency by impish_nature

A pretty cute one! Ford trying to figure out how to deal with Bill, and Stan having found a stable job, and someow their two worlds intersect. Cute moments between the two, and some good Stans getting to reconnect.

Things You Can't Take Back by thesnadger

Classic by the Snadger! I always appreciate people who take Stan's memory less and make it more complicated, or at least have there be aftershocks to have your whole life erased :D So well written.

Old Yeller is such a sad story, and also some of this made me think of Mice and Men, and ugh just Stan and Ford and beign willing to kill something you love - sometimes because you love it - and it's such a perfect analogy to them I could die.

I always love a fic that acknowledges language barriers. It reminds me of a really old fic where I did something similar, but like, being away from Earth would lead to you forgetting a lot of things, including language.

Ah, gotta love a good fic that shows the missing scene of Ford and Stan switching places. Who came up with the idea? Who needed to be convinced? What swears do they get to use while off camera? Stan I love you so much, and Ford I lov eyou for beig nso complicated.

Raising Stakes by MaryPSue

Mwah! A Classic if I've ever seen one! While I'm partial to werewolf!Stan, Vampire!Stan does have so much potential and MaryPSue puts it to use so well! A great look into what Gravity Falls was like back in taht time period, and I love when people utilize Susan in fics that take place pre-portal <3 Also, Carla! I miss you so much Carla <3 It's drama, it's action, it's everything!

Lost and Found by PengyChan

Tate & Fiddleford have a lot of untapped potential, and while I think going the angst route makes a lot of sense, this one is almost more fluff and catharsis, I guess? I love it, near and dear to me.

Off-Season by anistarrose

Time Travel fic, but not a timestuck au? More likely than you think! A cute oneshot with particular focus on Stan, Mabel, and Dipper. Just a fluffy little thing with a couple strangers helping Stan out through a difficult winter.

Persist and Dwell by fencesit

A bit of Soos's trust in Grunkle Stan, and a mystery that isn't so much mystery as it is simply just not explicitly said. One of the final scenes has still stuck with me, and this is defo a concept I'd love to see explored more.

While typically OTGW x Gravity Falls crossovers are, like, Pinescone, I'm partial to this version where Wirt is their dad. There'a few details that didn' sit well with me, but over all so incredible and well written. Some of the metaphors are just so evocative I could eat them. The descriptions are to die for. And I love the depiction of a dad struggling to get his kids to open up to him that feels like it's part dads struggle with teens and part those pines twins just won't tell the truth.

What i'd change in this piece of media! Or just rewritting it. Because truly it is right now.

Today's episode is.... Twilight!

Because for some reason i started thinking about Edward and Jasper and how they could be fixed and it turned into this clusterfuck. Anyways.

Twilight.

It is so damn boring! But it has potencial.

Ok. Let me explain myself. I started reading twilight's fanfiction without having ever watched the movies. At the time the movies came out, i was too young to take any interest in it, although the women around me did, and they fawned over Jacob and his shirtless scenes. Which was how i was team Jacob (not anymore tho ew)

Nevermind that, thing is, i only watched the movies after reading the phenomenal and creative fics. So, to me the movies paled in comparison.

Don't get me wrong. Twilight was a huge sucess, so it clearly did something right. This is only my opnion, okay?

Lets go.

So, the author created so many interesting characters and then proceeded to give us the most boring ones as the protagonists.

And Edward and Bella are actually interesting. But we got stuck with their annoying versions.

And beyond that, the really interesting side characters never have a chance to be developed. T-T

Not as much as they deserved at least.

And please, the Volturi needed a spin off of their own. Something akin to The Originals and The vampire Diaries.

Anyways, in this first part, i want to talk about how we could get into and actually develope the characters. I'll talk about each movie later.

First, our protagonists. Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

Ok. I would LOVE if we had Edward at his antihero phase. Maybe at the tail end of it, maybe at its climax.

Would love to see Red Eyes Edward. Avenging men and women who were raped, tortured, murdered as he battles with his own sense of humanity and self hatred. Trying to do something good while still being a monster.

And yes, he would still be his edgelord self. But now his breakdowns would happen as he is covered by someone else's blood and insides. Rocking himself in a alleyway's corner, looking at nothing as the body at his feet just gets colder and colder.

At some point, he would kill someone inocent. Who was wrongly accused of something. And when he discovers this, he sees his victim's mother crying, yelling at the heavens, begging for answers, for justice. For something. Anything. And Edward would hate himself for thinking for a moment he could do good. "You're a murderer, a demon. You're the one who deserves to die."

And then we have Bella, just as she is. I wouldn't change much about her really. Just make her a bit less "not like other girls" and lessen her infatuation with Edward. Or maybe amplify it. But in a different way. She is taken with Edward not because wow, he is handsome, misterious or smth. But because he is weird. Maybe even have a monsterloving Bella. Who is fascinated by this idea of an angel of death. But as she encounters it, him, she realizes nothing is black in white. He kills people. Humans like her.

She would be attracted, but terrified. Battling against her morals. He has to feed, but he kills only those who are criminals. But who is he to play the judge and jury? And would be interesting for Edward to become more attached to life and morals (as in, murder is murder, bitch. Stop killing people even though theyre criminals and deserve it. Youre not God).

I would love to see their oposing ideas inspire each other and provoke drama and grownth.

Also, id love to see Bella's reasons to be a vampire to be more than Edward. I saw this idea on tiktok i think. And it makes so much sense.

Her reasons would be: she is a bit of a history nerd and wants to be there as historical moments are happening and live to see its repercursions; she is afraid of getting old( but not dying, since she is suicidal and has a kinda morbid curiosity about it); she doesnt want to lose Alice, or Emmett, nor Jasper or Rosalie and Carlisle and Esme; she wants to feel part of something, this family, something she severely lacked as a child and still do as a teenager.

I want a Bella that is in love and obssessed with Edward, but as the story goes on, she learns to be independent. She learns how to be confident in her weird self. And have more than just Edward, although she is very much in love with him.

She would not get pregnant. But would be a vampire because dude. She is so much better as a vampire. Lord above. And well that would be the culmination of her character growth.

Alice, Jasper and him being a confederate soldie or smth :)

Random Riddler Au N2 Cause I'm Still Bored (and is still winter):

Eddie was a punk when he was a teen.

Now you may think he was a theater kid and I'm not saying he wasn't. But I think he enjoyed the drama and plays but only was really a part of it after he left home because he was afraid of his father reaction of him doing something "feminine" like theater. Not only that but most punks grow up to realize they are theater kids as well and vise versa performative cultures unite.

He also could have been an emo since he regressed to it as a trauma reaction twice. But I'll go for punk. Now hear me out: he was a queer abused kid with anger issues who didn't do theater or sports. Rock'n'roll has to be his thing. (And him having behavioral issues would explain why his teachers refused to see him as a genius, he was the punk know-it-all that skipped classes all the time, smoked and hated authorite and talked about sticking to the men).

He was still a punk ass teen when he met Query and Echo (at like 19) and so for a long time they are the only people that know his past as a little troublemaker with dark green spiked clothes. Adilt Edward thinks it's embarrassing and does not fit his style.

Oswald discovers Eddie was a punk because in one of the rare occasions Eddie got drunk at the Iceberg Lounge (and in general) he got on the small stagium and played some Against Me! chords on guitar before passing out. His reaction was a series of "wtf" later replaced with Oswald reveling he was a goth kid (when Eddie woke up with one of his rare and very very moddy hangovers).

Selina heard Eddie mention it once when they were talking about high school sucking and she just looked at him and said "I could swear you were a theater kid, a real Glee type" and never mentioned it again.

Harley found a photo of teen Eddie somehow and before he could try to explain it she just looked at him and said "I also was an early 00's/90's closeted queer kid with anger issues, I get you" and showed a photo of punk high school Harley to him. Both threatened to murder each other if the photos became public. (Eddie because it was an embarrassing photo on his biased opnion and Harley because she had braces on the photo and she hates her braces and doesn't want people mentioning them ever).

Read your post on Reddit. What's your opnion on federated app/sites like Mastodon or Lemmy? Right now they are kind of slow because there aren't many users and there's also the problem of them going down without notice. But could this be an alternative even if it has less benefits as current VC funded sites/apps?

oh yeah those! honestly I haven't spent much time poking around the fediverse yet because (1) the internet eats enough of my time/sanity as it is and so I really need less of it, not more, and (2) frankly the whole signup process/general UX for mastodon and now lemmy sounds like a pain in the ass and I'm super lazy lol. but they do sound really interesting and I'm curious to see how they unfold. to my earlier point about "a radically different internet" or whatever, I feel like this could be a contender for a new model of social networking, or at least the foundation of whatever the next big idea is, with all the benefits and trade-offs that brings (because, you know... radically different).

the crowdfunding situation seems a little precarious, but then again so is the entire venture capital model, so maybe not a dealbreaker lol. I've also heard some stuff about mastodon servers having radically different rules and being prone to intra- and inter-server drama, and then there's the whole matter of being self-moderated, but both of those things basically describe what it's like to be in a big discord server or almost any subreddit. plus the "going down without notice" thing you mentioned, but even that applies to discord servers, subreddits, or any social media site in sufficiently bad shape so idk. I guess what I'm trying to say is that none of these feel like a perfect solution (yet), but the red flags we're seeing aren't an unfamiliar shade of red, at least?

the self-moderation bit in particular is interesting because I wonder if it'll change the way regular non-mod users view moderation and other forms of labor/upkeep? to some extent I think people have more empathy (relatively speaking lol) for moderators in a discord server or a hobby subreddit than they do for the paid employees of big social media sites, even though the latter do the same job (if not at a much larger and more gruesome scale) and rarely get paid enough to do it. but when the moderator is someone you know and can talk to versus a faceless contractor for a big tech corporation it definitely changes the whole dynamic. I really do like the idea of a more transparent and user-managed platform forcing the rest of us to be more mindful about what we're using, how it works, who's running it, etc. versus falling into the habit of treating these platforms as natural entities that sprang into existence fully-formed.

While writing my answer to your ask, I realised that it has become an essay 🥲 so I use number form in attempt to make it short and easy to understand (but damn it's still to long and I'm lowkey overthinking, but here we go, aaaaaa!)🤧:

Plot/storyline changes.

Majority of the plot and story line might be change but i can't guarantee to what extend as I'm struggling to keep up with the previous one (bcs it's complicated af and idk how did I even though of that (but I did not regret writing it!) Writing "Siren" is one of the best thing because I never thought how invested I can be while writing a fic untul I worked on "Siren" 🥹🩷💕.

2. What can I guarantee.

All I can gurantee is a better and clearer storyline with lots of interaction between the main characters and a sparkle of "hook" in the plot. So, absolutely more interaction with Jay is coming up and you can look forward to it as I remember you always long for interaction with jay (not that i'm complaining, I don't judge my readers' comment, NEVER) lol 😂.

3. How long will the oneshot version of "Siren" would be.

This another thing that I can't confirmed but, it will not be too short (who likes way too short fic when we wanna add the drama in it right?). I will try to make it around 1k words minimum, but if you have any suggestion about how long you want it to be, I can adjust that for you (lowkey feel like I'm doing a request fic from you, lol. but again, It's one of the best thing when the writer and the reader give each other feedbacks and opnions, and vice versa. fanfic also connects people like music does! ✨✨

A FBI thriller!special Agent Heater Chase and special agent Bob Fairfax as the main characters ,they are set on a murder case ,where Bob is a man of the book anf Chase a woman following her gut and gift,but it still works well for both!But Unforunately they to have work with the NYPD which struggles between the two departments In Chase I found a amazing character in the story who did a exellent job folliwing her gut and gift! In my opnion it was a good story to read not really fast paced and for a thriller not that much action which made more of a average story with drama, tension .betrayal corruption and rivalry! Up to me its a slow moving thriller with not that much action, the storyline and plot are good and in the end unexpected, it had no really an end!after some more searching it turns out to be seriesbook! for my rating i,ll feel it will be just above average so a 4.6 star
