I love looking at wof art and peoples fun and creative closed or open species , i love seeing what people come up with and i genuinely enjoy how creative this fandom is, its a comforting space for me generally.

But man it gets so exhuasting seeing all the wof drama/confession Blogs. I feel like all they do is spread negativity or become a large venting space for kids who don't understand or respect that artists need to make a living and need to charge money for their work. They just get angry they can't afford their art or its not free for them and they get really mean and nasty towards artists or communities as if they aren't real people who could potentially see these. I have seen some absolutely vile behavior from these kids. I have to assume they are kids because I cannot imagine an adult purposefully getting mad at an artist charging what they do or selling designs to make a living when the cost of living is so ridiculously high. Its such a sense of entitlement. Hopefully they grow out of that.

In King Lear (Act 3, Scene 7) there is a man who is such a minor character that Shakespeare has not given him any name, he is merely 'First Servant'. All the characters around him - Regan, Cornwall, and Edmund, have fine long term plans. They think they know how the story is going to end, and they are quite wrong. The Servant has no such delusions. He has no notion how the play is going to go. But he understands the present scene. He sees an abomination (the blinding of old Gloucester) taking place. He will not stand it. His sword is out and pointed as his master's breast in a moment, then Regan stabs him dead from behind. That is his whole part, eight lines all told. But if it were real life and not a play,that is the part it would be best to have acted. Through his selfless actions, Shakespeare emphasizes on the possibility of goodness and resistance, even in the face of overwhelming evil.🍁

That Peitho anon got me wondering - sometimes in myths Gods get angry at their lovers’ mortal lovers for like simply being there. Do you think they would be mad as well if their children were their lovers’ lover? -what a lovely family circle they create, might I add-

Alright being serious, its because the gods can't directly punish a god for something like that, mainly: (1.) it's not a direct offense to the offended god if you're annoyed or irked (2.) They're gods. They're concepts so its like fighting against air (3.) some probably ranking system in play (A.k.a. "I have the high ground Anakin!")

But for gods towards their demigod and their immortal lovers-

Considering it's Ancient Greek Mythology (which is a warning of its own) and how myths were a representation of society and ancient Greek life, I'm not going say the gods wouldn't be mad at their demigod children having a relationship with their immortal lover (if we can even call it a relationship cause like yeaaaaaaah...) but on the other hand, I wanna say they wouldn't be so harsh either because that's their kid! That's their other half! Which is probably why their immortal lover got attracted to them! Maybe!? (also denying another god never works out and you have to pull off a Nat 20 with all the stats to get out of it unscathed)

I know there's probably mythological evidence of this happening once or twice, but I cannot for the life of me remember where those receipts are.

The only thing I can think of the top of my head and is a sort of example but not really? where Hippolytus, son of Theseus -the son of Poseidon? Where Theseus got Poseidon, his father, to punish and ending up being a part in killing Hippolytus for supposedly being with Phaedra, Theseus's wife and Hippolytus' stepmother. So put that into a immortal light, and it sort of is an example?

I dunno, gods are fickle because people and their nature are fickle. Who knows how the gods work and when they'll work in the way you want. You may know how the weather works and you can predict them to a degree, but you can't make it sunny or rain just because you want it to and the best you can do is just predict for it the best you can and prepare for it.

That all said, the most simple answer to this is a question: Wouldn't you be mad if you saw your partner cheat and be with another person behind your back? Especially how the person they're with is similar to you?

If yes, then that's your answer.

A/n: God relationships and drama is so sticky, writing this made me go HMMMM and HAWWW. I know some people want me to say "Yeah no its cool" but at the same time, I know it's not and oh man-

I am ashamed to admit this but I hope it might shed some light to someone who may need to see it.

I used to make adopts for a closed species and I was told by another moderator it was more profitable to release an adopt batch on a Friday (payday) with a really high autobuy that was available for people to buy immediately rather than bid. There absolutely is predatory and manipulative behavior in cs groups (tho it’s not a cult) and they prey on the fear of missing out. That kind of stuff should get talked about more to help people see the patterns and not fall victim to manipulation tactics

I’m honestly bummed the fact that Wayne (and possibly by extension Raj?) wearing a cup the entire show never came up after episode 1. Like during episode 7, he and Raj get beat up by a cassowary, fall down a mountain (and survive) and Wayne just weakly goes “good thing I’m still wearing my cup!” and passes out. Perfect bookends for his time on the island. Also because I know guys who unironically wear a cup in normal settings.

Wonder if they go into a fit if they see generic west themed shit out in a store or such too. It's for kids you morons. The amount of adult snowflake karens on cs is insane.
