Ishgard Diaries - You are unharmed?

Today, I struggled to get out of bed. It...it seems like a dream. It must be a dream.

I visited the wandering minstrel...what a strange fellow he is. He told a tall tale of saving a valiant hero. I had visions of Haurchefant...the scene, it replayed in my head. It turned over in my head as ways to torment me. However, it felt...so real. I was there with a team of adventurers.

It replayed, with Haurchefant running out to block the attack on me...the most dreaded moment. However...I-I...in this vision, I somehow managed to save him...in this dream. Things spiraled out of control, as time seemed to split apart. It felt as though I was being pulled in opposite directions.

Upon being thrust into this...strange timeline...I was faced against King Thordan. My team and I defeated him, fighting tirelessly against this beast...it was no easy feat, lest you misunderstand. But all I could think of was...what is happening? What kind of magic is this? I was scared, but yet, strangely hopeful.

Before I knew it, I found myself passed out in front of The Vault. My head was throbbing. I sat up and brushed myself off. I am unsure of how I ended up back in Ishgard after being in Mor Dhona. Perhaps the wandering minstrel knew of my stay there, and brought me back upon my fainting.

I looked around, my vision blurry for a moment. My sight began to focus...I saw...I saw him. He stood there, in front of me. Haurchefant. Surely this must've been a dream...right? He look to me with a serious look upon his face, yet with a small smile...he looked...relieved? He said, "You are unharmed? Thank goodness."

I must've stood there with a shocked look on my face, because before I knew it, his face turned from relief to worry. "My dear, what is on your mind? You look at me with an expression of clear worry. Do not worry, my dear."

After that, the space around me seemed to turn dark and fuzzy. As I write this, I have been relocated to the Fortemps Manor...once again, I must reiterate I am unsure of how I end up at these places. I can only assume I hallucinated while on the street, and I was taken back to Fortemps Manor by a Knight who had seen me passed out, again.

I have never felt so vulnerable, what with these dizzy spells. A strange dream, indeed. I do not look forward to going back to reality. A reality without Haurchefant. I can almost hear him now...I must not be awoken from my dream completely.

I don't do ultimates but I just now heard the version of Revenge Twofold used for I think the final phase of the dragonsong ultimate. Talk about taking amazing music and making it even better.
