Still in awe of how well the D&D movie mimicked the feeling of D&D without doing anything as tediously literal as a "sitting around the table" framing device. The way some characters have names that sound like names a DM improvised on the spot, the sudden appearance and disappearance of a overpowered DM NPC for a single dungeon, the way they used the fact that characters can plausibly just mess up for no clear reason to escalate action scenes...that was cinema

So, I was curious and looked up the symbolism for rhododendron flowers and it turns out they represent love, devotion, and admiration. In addition, white rhododendron flowers, like the ones Falin offered, signify purity and innocence!

Now, I'm not saying that Falin presenting these flowers to Marcille represents a pure and innocent crush--one built on Falin's admiration for Marcille and the devotion Marcille has shown for Falin in turn.... But that's exactly what I'm saying.

okay these flowers are lovely but I'm also not convinced they're supposed to be lilies? I feel like they share way more resemblance with rhododendron flowers, and lack the distinct, long petals of a lily:

also, some rhododendron flowers are edible, which would make way more sense than presenting her with a bouquet of toxic flowers

the leaves attached are too small and improperly attached to be rhododendron, buuut they're way more similar than lilies!
