Several years ago the mobile game Puzzle and Dragons had a Final Fantasy collab. I was able to get Noctis during it and even upgraded him but I never got Prompto.

After the event ended I started saving gems for when the collab would come back but years went by and it never came back, I eventually uninstalled the game to save space on my phone.

Last month they announced the collab was finally coming back and my 3k gems saved up finally came in handy:

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet - Voice Actor Headcanons.

So here’s the latest update of this little series on my blog where I assign official voice actors to characters that don’t have them. I also did this with the previous title, Legends: Arceus.

I have to reiterate the same points every time, but it’s just so we’re all aware - 

This is NOT CANON. These are HEADCANONS and are unofficial. It’s just a hypothetical situation. If the characters were voiced, this is who I imagine would voice them.

Every major character in both games is included here, so there are HEAVY SPOILERS for the game’s main storylines. DO NOT READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE GAME OR DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED.

The only character I did not include in this is Jacq. He already has an official VA thanks to the Pokemon Go Gimmighoul Trailer. I don’t know who it is though because they go uncredited.

/snicker/ Reveal AU where the significant others of LCs are suddenly dragons.

Ace would like to know why his husband is currently a dragon. In fact, most patrons of his bar would like to know why Ace's husband is currently around Ace's neck and sulking at the fact he has four legs, scales, and can breathe fire.

"Well," Tredd says to break the eerie silence that had settled over the bar, "Do you think he can get bigger so he can rain fire down upon our enemies?"

"You are not using my husband as a siege weapon," Ace says as he reaches up to lightly tap on Nyx's head, "No," he says to the white and purple dragon partially wrapped around his neck, "Do not even think about it."

"It would be fun," Nyx says in a voice that is echoes the rumble of thunder, "I could-"

"And if you got any bigger where would I put you? We don't know if you can change back to this size. And I would prefer to be able to sleep with my husband under the same roof as me."

Nyx grumbles.

Ace ignores how adorable it is and wonders where the little blond he hired is. Shouldn't Prompto be here by now?

The bell at the door chimes, Ace perks up until he realizes that it is not Prompto would is walking through his door.

Rather it is the Prince of Lucis, Ace's younger half-brother who does not know of Ace's existence.

Everyone pretends not to stare as Noctis makes a beeline toward Ace.

"Uh," Noctis says not sounding very princely at all, "Prompto can't make it because-" He flounders as if he hasn't rehearsed the excuse Prompto gave him "- because he - iS THAT A DRAGON?"

Nyx''s claws dig into Ace's shoulder.

Ace makes a note to make Nyx sleep on the couch. It figures that Nyx wouldn't bother to hide.

"No," Ace lies terribly, "It's-"

"-Moving." Noctis sounds panicked and relieved at the same time. "Six above I thought I would have a harder time explaining."

Noctis swings his backpack - which is open a bit at the side - off his shoulder and and unzips it all the way.

A golden dragon pops its head out.

Ace can feel the blood drain from his face.

"Ah," he says calmly, "Is this why Prompto can't come in today? He got dragon'd?"

"Yeah apparently all of-" Noctis' eyes go wide. He wheezes something that Ace can't make out. Noctis points at Nyx.

Nyx blows a bit of fire out of his mouth because he can.

"Why do you have a dragon?" Noctis' voice is mortified. Ace feels the same way.

"I don't know," Ace replies, "Why do you have a dragon?"

I spent a ridiculously long time overthinking this, primarily because I literally could not choose a favorite of my Kingdom Hearts fics. So I'm cheating! I'm basically picking 3 fics from 3 different fandoms, just so I can be indecisive about KH.

Final Fantasy XV

1. At the top of this one I'm going to have to put Hardest of Hearts. This is purely because it was my first foray into the crackship that would end up eating my life, and I have to thank it for its service.

2. Equally well-loved is Sir Stabby and Friends. I had so much fun creating little robot friends for Prompto to make! And the unexpected OT4 was a nice bonus.

3. And a VERY close second to those is going to be Jewel of the Sea. I love soulmate fics SO MUCH y'all don't even understand, but I very rarely end up writing them. And despite it being another rarepair I feel like it really helped me flesh out my voice for Prompto and Dino.

Fullmetal Alchemist

1. This fandom is significantly easier, though I do have to do bonus cheating for this. Number one is Ruin the Sky. You will pry my scifi AUs out of my cold, dead hands.

2. Next is going to be Nine Lives Cafe. This one was just fun to write! And there was a surprising amount of thought put into it in the background, although I'm sad to say I'm sad to say that I lost my notes for continuing it several years ago and it's doomed to be ""completed"" as is.

3. And finally the part where we double cheat: the Dragon Scars series. It is the most self-indulgent thing I've ever written in my life. Mark my words, one day I WILL finish writing this bitch.

Kingdom Hearts

And finally, the reason for the cheating: I literally can't pick a favorite of these three.

1. Time of Your Life. Listen, 99.9% of the stuff I write is fluff or at least has a happy ending. And some sort of AU. This stupid crackship fic is a tragedy, entirely canon, and I am actually very pleased with the pacing of it. And, seriously, it's the only thing I ever finished that doesn't have a happy ending. I can't help but love it.

2. The Song That No One Sings. Another one for the crackships, but otherwise the polar opposite of the above. It's just a soft, simple urban fantasy romance. I do wish I'd actually fully fleshed out the worldbuilding for this, but we can't have everything.

3. The Forest. Not for any particular reason, I'm just still very fond of the fairy tale style writing I did. But I'm still sad that this remains my least read/liked fic for this fandom.

(And I'd also like to throw out honorable mentions to The End of the Beginning and Crumpled Memories, the two Good Omens fics I don't entirely hate. As well as Best Friends, a deeply unserious Ronin Warriors fic that basically wrote itself.)

A girl gets reborn into FFXV but as far as she can tell she's just a completely normal person, no magic or hidden lineage or anything. So she decides to proceed with her life as if nothing happened and get that teaching degree she always wanted but didn't manage the last time.

And then she ends up as Noctis and Prompto's elementary school teacher.

I think I did something like this once.

For funsies, let’s do it again.

I think it’d be funny if this winds up as like, a Regis/Teacher sort of situation or a Cor/Teacher situation because it would be incredibly funny for her to be like ‘I am going to lay low and do my duties as their teacher and nothing else’ and then suddenly it’s like ‘shit I’m attached and Would Die for These Kids’

(Brain went ‘assassination attempt at Noctis’ school leads to said teacher who has no magic or powers or anything deciding that ‘fuck it those are her kids you do not get to touch them’ and she winds up knocking the assassins out or killing them with classroom chairs and a gun she stole from one of them.

Of course she also gets shot in the meantime and has to go to the hospital.

Where the king visits! Surprise! You get a free healing potion custody of his majesty the dragon of the kingdom etc etc.)
