whenever i try to think of what my music taste is i'm like- i have multiple of them. there's me being a dedicated swiftie, constantly hoping that at least most of the midnights songs are on karaoke machines. those are the songs i can openly admit to loving.
and then there's the dsmp and among us songs. how do i tell others that i imagined "why" as a meaningful song about lying politicians at age ten. that is not a regular age ten thing. also until now i'm more patriotic to the my l'manberg anthem than to the bagong pilipinas hymn. and the among us songs. so suspicious! lies! ambush! the among us songs were incredible!
we don't talk about the hamilton songs. we just don't. like hetalia isn't my "bury this history underground and never speak of it", it's this. how do i admit that i sometimes still attempt to do the fast part of satisfied to the miku binder tumblr.
and then there's the hetalia songs. i can still sing a good chunk of n.italy's marukaite chikyuu by memory! i practiced how to say the "ano aji ga wasureranrenain da" part! i swear! those were such an important part of my development i promise you
and then there's the geometry dash songs. like at least all the other ones i can sing. how about nine circles. am i supposed to sound like a fire alarm while singing that. at least i can kinda do dark dragon fire but clubstep is where i draw the line. oh and tidal wave BEAUTIFUL song but if i attempt to sing it im gonna da-doo-doo-doo all over the place
so yeah. unnecessarily long post about my five hundred music tastes and the development that happened in each one.
#oh but this doesn't even include the mlp and mlp:eg songs#rambling#long post#ohh i'm gonna have to tag all the fandoms i mentioned here don't i#taylor swift#swiftie#dream smp#dsmp#among us#hamilton musical#hetalia#hetalia world series#hetalia axis powers#geometry dash#gdblr

SIRENA: K-6 Students Perform at UPIS Variety Show 2024
UP Integrated School (UPIS) K-2 and 3-6 students exhibited their talents at the Variety Show last May 22 at the UPIS 7-12 Gymnasium.
A total of eight performers from Grades 3-6 performed in the event. Each one was given three to five minutes to show their talents to the audience. The performances were evaluated by the judges Mr. Joseph Tablizo from the Social Studies Department, Ms. Alexia Metrio from the Practical Arts Department, and Asst. Prof. Diana Caluag, our Assistant Principal for Academic Programs.
The competitors from Grades 3-6 showed a variety of song and dance numbers. Anica Gail Lopez from 4-Labanos dedicated her performance to God and sang the Christian worship song "Wala Kang Katulad''; Marco Bonganay from 4-Patani sang "My Favorite Girl" by Justin Bieber; and the Whitebored Band, consisting of Ulan Rico on drums, Lucas Dionisio on piano and vocals, and Caleb Kwe on guitar and vocals, performed "Raining in Manila" by Lola Amour and "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. Meanwhile, a student from 5-Arayat, Jared Alexander Lagrimas sang “Miss Miss” by Rob Deniel.
Lastly, Mikkel Caia Odulio from 6-Amethyst sang "Yellow" by Coldplay; The Shooting Stars duo, consisting of Vivienne Madamba and Sue Anne Giannan from 6-Amethyst, sang the English version of the Japanese song "Goodbye Sengen" by Wonderlands x Showtime (originally by Chinozo); Allyssa Sarenas from 6-Sapphire sang the English version of the Korean song "Only" by Lee Hi; and lastly, drawing the Grades 3-6 performances to a close, was Jam Brian Edmundo Sumayo from 6-Sapphire played the guitar while singing "Say You Won’t Let Go" by James Arthur.
In addition to the eight main performers, there were also five special performances by students from Kinder to Grade 2. A group called Power 5 consisting of Grade 2 students Cris Paculanang II, Aya Maria Villamayor, Zion Zingapan, Alexard Espino, and Aya Martheen Abaigar performed a dance number on the song “Kinang Pilipinas" by Shine Philippines. 2035 Band, a group of Grade 1 students— Francesslyn de Leon as the drummer, Macy Parlade as the vocalist, Luke Zaide Santos as the guitarist, and Mary Elisabeth Martinez as the pianist—performed “UP Naming Mahal” and “Dynamite” by BTS. Francesslyn de Leon from 1-Pipit played the keyboard while singing “Sana'' by Jolina Magdangal, Zandro Edwin Patnongon from 1-Kalaw sang “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Amstrong, and lastly, Danielle Sheyla Ulaso from K-Liryo sang “Speechless” by Naomi Scott.
Following the last special performance, the winners were announced. There was a Championship Award and Crowd Favorite Awards for the 3-6 performers and the K-2 performers. Whitebored Band bagged both the Champion award and the Crowd Favorite Award for Grades 3-6. The K-2 Crowd Favorite award was given to 2035 Band.
The members of Whitebored Band expressed their happiness and sense of victory for winning. They thanked their parents for supporting them all throughout their rehearsals and for paying the reservation for the studio where they practiced. They also thanked their teachers and their advisers for supporting them and encouraging them to participate. They also said they miss Jsam Samudio, the band's supposed vocalist, who wasn’t able to attend due to illness.
“We really miss him and we wish he were here with us to perform on stage," said Lucas.
This year’s Variety Show proved to be a success, overcoming numerous scheduling challenges posed by the extreme heat and suspension of face-to-face classes. According to Pamunuan ng Kamag-Aral (PKA) 3-6 President, Ethan Lakip, the biggest challenge in organizing this event was the unforeseen changes to the UPIS Week schedule due to the recent high heat index. This caused the original date of the Variety Show on April 17 to be moved to May 10, and eventually to May 22. He also added that due to the suspensions announced by UPIS, the original 4-day UPIS Week was streamlined to one day, forcing them to reschedule some events and cancel other events such as TALAYTAY: K-2 Palarong Pambata, 3-12 Sports Festival, TALISIK: 7-12 Trivia Competition, and ATLANT-ISKO: Club Wars.
Despite these hindrances, the Variety Show was able to push through and the students from Kinder to Grade 6 were able to showcase their talents.

Jamie Malonzo withdraws from the PBA Slam Dunk Contest
Barangay Ginebra's Jamie Malonzo Withdraws from PBA Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend
HIGH-flying For the PBA All-Star game this week in Passi City, Iloilo, Barangay Ginebra forward Jamie Malonzo decided not to participate in the slam dunk contest.
Malonzo pulled out of the meet at the last minute, meaning that one of the All-Star weekend's skill challenges will be missing the player expected to win it.
Malonzo's absence has narrowed the competition to a four-man dunkfest between rookie Tyrus Hill of Blackwater, veteran David Murrel of Converge, young gun Chris Lalata of Phoenix, and veteran Brandon Ganuelas Rosser of NLEX.
The 6-foot-7 center from De La Salle who has been playing regularly with Gilas Pilipinas since the fourth window of FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers last year pulled out of the game for unknown reasons.
Malonzo also dedicated himself solely to basketball at the beginning of the year, playing a pivotal role in the Kings' victory over the Bay Area Dragons in the Commissioner's Cup final.
Malonzo also played for the national team in the final window of the qualifiers, against Lebanon and Jordan, between the finals and Ginebra's ongoing campaign in the Governors Cup.
When asked about the slam dunk during Sunday's game between Barangay Ginebra and Converge, Malonzo said that he still hadn't prepared any tricks for his first foray into the All-Star skills challenge.
"I prefer to dunk during games. To please the audience, I'll do whatever they want. To the best of my ability, "The young player said.
Final Thoughts
It's unfortunate that Jamie Malonzo has withdrawn from the PBA Slam Dunk Contest, as he was expected to be a top contender for the title. However, the competition will still be exciting with the remaining four participants, including rookie Tyrus Hill and veteran David Murrel.
Malonzo's absence may be disappointing for fans, but it's understandable that he has prioritized playing for Gilas Pilipinas and for Ginebra in the Governors Cup. It's also refreshing to hear that he values performing well in actual games rather than just in exhibition contests.
Regardless, the PBA All-Star Weekend promises to be an exciting event, showcasing some of the league's best players and their skills. Fans can look forward to watching the remaining four dunkers compete and possibly see an upset in the competition. Additionally, those who are interested in betting on the PBA can also take advantage of the All-Star Weekend and bet on various PBA Philippine Cup events.

ON THE WAY TO CEBU
Mayroon ditong libreng wifi at gamit panligo.
Paalam, Cebu!

DA OC Spanish-Colonial Filipiniana stuff for WEWH ideas - Binibining Pilipinas 2018 Edition
This is the last one, I swear I just love staring at pretty outfits a lot
Could you imagine flaunting the Inquisition’s wealth and power through this outfit? Rip humility, sometimes you gotta put people in their place
Lady justice is somewhat everything to think of now.
For anyone wanting to vibe with queenly but kinda scary feel while using pink
You? Outshining Empress Celene? More likely than you think
Hi I actually used this for Dalisay’s public wedding outfit with Cullen before having a private wedding in Clan Bagaoisan with only the advisors and inner circle and Cullen’s family permitted to witness it since Pre-Colonial weddings are what makes me happy and somehow I know she’d have to do a public wedding cause public figureheads and stuff depress me with their lack of privacy

As a transplant to the Philippines from the US, I'm going to create a D&D character who is TRYING to learn Common (Tagalog), but not doing so well at it, and who will charge into battle screaming things like, "Hindi ako isang doktor! Isa akong kabayo! Tamatakbo ang mga mansanas!" ("I am not a doctor! I am a horse! The apples are running! “) Because he has NO frakking idea what he's saying.

A Review on the Performance of the Top 3 Sports Teams in the Philippines
Ranking the top three sports teams in the Philippines based on performance and consistency.
Sports is a popular hobby and form of competition in the Philippines. It integrates talent and teamwork. Coupled with a few controversies, it makes up for good entertainment for Filipinos. This paper examines the recent performances of the top 3 sports teams in the country, namely, Team Azkals (Football), Gilas Pilipinas (Basketball), and Dragon Warriors (Boat Racing) and ranks them according to these performances.
Team Azkals
Team Azkals is a household name in the Philippines made famous by their roster of not only talented but good-looking players. Back in 2019, the Philippine Azkals achieved history by defeating Tajikistan 2-1 to qualify for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, marking the country's first ever qualifying in the continental championship's 62-year history. Then, it won 3-0 in the second round of the combined 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup qualifiers, but it was not enough to please head coach Scott Cooper, who regarded the Azkals' performance as uneven. Cooper also mentioned that the Azkals showed discipline in their 2-0 loss to China, which contrasted with their performance against Guam.
Gilas Pilipinas
Gilas won its first two games in 2019, away in Japan and at home against Chinese Taipei, with Reyes still at the helm, before falling on the road to newcomer Australia in the first round of group stage matchups. Gilas then went on to finish last in the tournament in 2019, losing all of its preliminary round matches en route to their lowest result since hosting the event in 1978. Despite losing 76-83 against Serbia recently, the fresh-faced Gilas Pilipinas team made an impact on opponent head coach Igor Kokoskov, who praised the Filipinos' resiliency and teamwork for allowing them to come back from a 16-point second-half hole and almost pull off a major upset. The Gilas rallied from a 40-56 deficit to take the lead, 74-73, until Serbian behemoth Boban Marjanovic took control late to give the hosts the victory. Gilas Pilipinas has consistently won a handful of matches throughout the years.
Dragon Warriors
Dragon Warriors has consistently been making headlines due to their outstanding performance overseas. The Philippine Army Dragon Warriors took home a silver medal from the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in 2019 after winning the small boat 200-meter Seniors Open event. They were ahead of schedule, but the Thai team was able to close the gap in the last 10 meters, allowing them to win the gold medal. Moreover, the Philippine Dragonboat Team took home another set of gold medals from a very competitive meet in China, only a week after winning two gold medals in a major race in Singapore. The Philippine Canoe-Kayak Dragonboat Federation PCKDF dominated the 500m and 250m small boat open categories in the renowned 2019 Beijing International Dragonboat Tournament, which featured China's best under-23 teams.
With this information in mind, Gilas Pilipinas takes the top spot as it has a lot of major wins not only in the country but abroad. Philippine Dragon Warriors takes second place as they are consistent with their performance though still has lesser awards than Gilas. In last place is Philippine Azkals who struggled in the first few years but is recently trying to redeem themselves with major wins.

PS: Did this movie just ignore several of the previous DB movies? 🤔
Nonetheless, it’s still great. 😁👍
