Greetings, you may call me Nazgul. I am in my early 20s and have been wanting to get back into roleplay after having not played in a few years. I might be a little rusty, but I am also a writer so I do still have practice writing. 

In the past I roleplayed really descriptively and liked to write really long responses, and while I do not expect page long responses I will only accept an average length of at least a paragraph. I don’t really know what this whole literacy stuff means, but I like it descriptive, grammatical, and long.

I am happy to collaborate in worldbuilding, check out a world/story you’ve already made, or roleplay in an already existing fandom. Not opposed to playing multiple characters in a shared universe or playing in a small group of people.

For an already existing fandom, I do not have experience roleplaying as canon characters, but am more than happy to try it out. Though I think I would feel a little awkward if I played a canon character and you played your OC, so I would prefer canon & canon or OC & OC. 

Either way, the story has to be fantasy or Sci-Fi themed (preference for Fantasy). It does not have to be heavy on the fantasy, but I don’t enjoy normal modern day with no fantastical elements. I consider vampires and werewolves to fit into fantasy. 

I am fine with smut or romance, but I would like it to have some plot outside of that. 

Speaking of which, I would prefer someone to be in a 19-25 age range if there is any romance or smut, but am happy to roleplay with people outside that range as there is so much more to roleplay than just romance and smut. 18+ for general roleplay.

I am also fine with heavy gore and darker themes, but we would have to discuss further. I believe open communication is a must in roleplay.

I am also happy to get to know someone better outside of roleplay. Especially if you’re into Elden Ring, I am a big ER lore crafter.

These are the fandoms that I am knowledgeable about, but I’m willing to roleplay in other fandoms if you’re willing to either tell me the basics or accept I won’t know much (though I might know about other fandoms too and just forgot to mention, so feel free to ask).

Hellooo! I'm here because I'm looking for someone to play Emmerich Volkarin from Dragon Age: Veilguard with my OC.

I'm hoping for something easy, like 2 or 3 paragraphs to start, and I'd like the possibility of long term if we click. So pretty much starting light and expanding into a story if we feel like it. I enjoy romance / adventure / angsty bits / and hurt / comfort.

For some info about me and my writing: I'm 29 ( she / her ). I'm an adv-lit writer with around 15 years of experience, so I have an expectation of quality, and though I'm looking for just a few paragraphs to start, I can get long-winded. I am possibly willing to double depending on who you want, and am more than comfortable with LGBTQ+ ships, though what I'm asking for with Emmerich is MxF. I'm not overly interested in discussing Veilguard's flaws, so if you have strong negative opinions about it, I'm not your guy. I am an encyclopedia of dragon age knowledge, though, and am currently working through my first playthrough while trying to find everything and learn all the new stuff!

Thinking about how the elves have zero political representation in Thedas at the beginning at the Dragon Age series and the situation doesn't change at the end of Veilguard. Like they want you to forget that every political and religious power on the surface of mainland Thedas is run by humans.

Thinking about how Warden Mahariel asked for a boon from the rulers of Ferelden, for the Dalish to be given sovereign lands and was denied.

Thinking about Warden Tabris asking for Shianni to become the first elven noble, and how she was murdered in the epilogue slides.

Thinking about how Lavellan is the only elf who is a public political figure.

Thinking about how Briala can attempt to empower the elves from the most precarious situation where she has to joint rule with Celene and/or Gaspard of all people.

Thinking about how making Leliana divine was the most tangibly good thing you could do for the situation of the elves.

Thinking about the viddathari, elves who join the Qun so that they can be treated with some form of dignity.

You can have a world state where you do literally everything possible to help the elves and it's just a drop in the ocean. So of course elves are vanishing from society en masse to join Solas' cause because it appears to them as the only option they have to change the social order. Even if Solas is just using his followers for his own personal crusade, with everything we know about Thedas it's just a no brainer.

But no, we don't need any of that because now we have the Veil Jumpers, a loose coalition of elves and non-elves that is comprised of citizen archeologists who excel at getting lost in the woods and blowing themselves up.

Don't trust a person writing anything regarding Flemeth and Morrigan who skips over how traumatic and abusive Morrigan's childhood was. Don't trust stories that pick up after Inquisition and try to 'resolve their issues' as if one act by Mythal is this foundation by which Morrigan should forgive her Mother, ignoring her being raised by physical and mental abuse, exposed to sex and murder (sometimes at the same time), groomed to move along a pre-determined path that always served Mythal's needs. Don't trust folks that forget the foundation of how wildly horrible their relationship is in order to arrive at an ending where Mother and daughter forgive each other. Don't trust folks who assume Mythal is at her core a Mother just because a fucked up pantheon deemed her Mother-like.

If you're going to explore their relationship in any way, never forget what was done to her. Never downplay it, never move past it, and never forgive it. No matter what your end goal is for them, never ever EVER forget that the harm Flemeth did to Morrigan has harmed her ability to approach the world in any way other than how Flemeth approach it, and that it has taken nothing short of a miracle for Morrigan to even begin to move past it.

It was inevitable, of course.

He avoided looking through Rook’s eyes more than necessary. Too often could lead to her realizing he’d been untruthful, or noticing his presence.

It wasn’t as though he could control her, regardless. Not truly.

But time in his Fade Prison stretched endlessly, and at times he grew restless. Weary. So damned ready to scream that he had to peer into the realm of the Waking, simply to quell it.

And so, it had been inevitable that he should peer through, and see her.

Vhenan.

She is the same, his Amaris, and yet not. A blink of Rook’s eyes, and he can see the changes ten years have wrought.

Wrinkles in the corners of her eyes and mouth. A slight dimness to the ever-bright blue of her eyes. A prosthetic where, when last they’d met, her left arm had been partially gone - taken by the Mark, taken by him, to save her life.

Amaris.

He doesn’t know where they are - certainly not any of Rook’s usual haunts. His Vhenan is dressed splendidly, fancier than anything she’d have worn during the days of the Inquisition - and his heart stumbles at the sight of his wolf-jaw necklace settled against her chest, worn for all to see.

But she is right there. So close. Close enough that when she smiles, laughing at something Rook or her companions has said, he can hear her laughter, her wonderful voice, and it makes his entire body ache with longing.

He does not deserve her. He never deserved her, or the love she gave him. And yet he would take it all again, those precious days spent by her side, those memories that he holds close to what remains of his fractured heart.

Soon, too soon, Rook turns to go, and something in him panics.

Wait. Don’t leave yet. Let me see her for one last moment.

There is the briefest itch to take control, to make her stop, so that he might gaze on the Inquisitor for another moment - to take in her face, her eyes, all that she is, and lock it tight in his memories.

The moment passes, and Solas clenches his hands into tight fists, eyes closed as he pulls himself from Rook’s consciousness.

The image of her now burned into his eyelids, replacing the one from ten years ago, set to torture him anew.

I am sorry, Vhenan. If only we had met in another life.

But I cannot stop now.
