Lucanis really mentions Bagna Cauda in a dialogue with Bellara?! Did I hear correctly?!

It's my favorite dish!! 😍🤩

It'a a sauce made from garlic, oil and anchovies, in which various vegetables (cooked and raw) and also eggs or apples are dipped. It's served in special bowls under which a candle is placed to keep the sauce warm for the entire time necessary to consume it.

It's a typical dish of the cold season and precisely in this period we are celebrating the "Bagna Cauda Day", an event in the Asti area, where several restaurants serve this typical Piedmontese dish.

I'm really happy that @bioware included it in the game, it's a Piedmontese excellence and a great excuse for all the Dragon Age fans to come and visit the beauties of Asti and Monferrato. 🤗

The "Butcher" Daathrata is such a fascinating character and it's such a shame he literally had one cutscene of screentime. There is so much to unpack with this guy. Like the fact that he is extremely calm compared to the Dragon King and is not portrayed as just some deranged muscle head. He is clearly very intelligent and charismatic when most of what we were told of Antaam is that all they care about is strength and raw power. And how he actually just loves Treviso but all he knows is to conquer because it has literally been drilled into him from childhood? That is such good material for a villain.

imagine being that art merchant in treviso. the antaam barricade you in your own gallery. you are saved by a dumbass. said dumbass promises to track down the stolen art, then proceeds to break all your chairs and vases, and also breaks into the magical vault of artifacts behind you and steals all your shit. you sell them statues of andraste anyway because what the hell, a living’s a living, right? you never see them again except for a few weeks later when somebody shows you their picture and tells you that they killed a blighted elven god. what the fuck
