DA:TV Grey Warden/Gloom Howler Spoilers

Sinking feeling confirmed. My wife predicted that shit too. I cannot believe the wardens blighted all of the griffons to defeat the fourth blight. Like they didn't even plan to preserve them for future revival. Nothing. Just blighting them all and throwing them into the fray as if it was a real plan. The Grey Wardens are LUCKY it worked. I'm not surprised it ended up backfiring last minute, but it's really sad that the griffons had to go entirely extinct

And the fact that the gloom howler used to take care of the griffons directly as a grey warden? It drives me crazy because during the fight at the Cauldron she called herself the mother of griffons, and of Assan! And said she'd blight them to save them. It's really sad to think that she's lost her mind to the blight and that it's convinced her that the blight will save them when she didn't even want to blight the griffons in the first place, she was just under orders from the First Warden.

I don't know I feel bad for her but I feel worse for the griffons and the whole thing sucks :(

i really just took the four heroes of Dragon Age and made it a story about a family with the worst luck in Thedas.

Don't believe me? It's simple:

Theron (Hero of Ferelden) and Ellana (Inquisitor) Mahariel are brother and sister.

Garrett Hawke (Champion of Kirkwall) and Ellana (again, Inquisitor) are married with four adopted children.

Then of course my personal favorite; Sylvia (Rook) is the eldest child of Garrett and Ellana.

also I KNOW an elven inquisitor can't be a Mahariel but that's the fun thing about personal canon; it's my personal canon and I can do whatever I want with it! If I want my heroes to be so intertwine that it becomes a hilariously depressing family reunion, so be it!
