I just can’t get over how this whole song is so dragon age coded. Like the whole damn thing. They would throw themselves into the fire, regardless of the danger, without a plan, because that’s what heroes do. Even though they aren’t heroes, not in their own eyes. They’re just people doing their best.

I am actively ~*~*~stressed out*~*~*~ by what romance I will chose on my first Dragon Age Veilguard playthrough because my track record is absolutely HORRENDOUS.

As in I usually inadvertently pick the most GUT WRENCHING romance and then proceed to be annihilated emotionally by it for months afterwards.

Examples:

First Origins playthrough - played as fem!Brosca, romanced Alistair, supported him becoming King only for him to tell me we couldn't stay together because I was not human -_______-

First DAII playthrough - oh, Anders! He was so cute and fun in Awakenings, this will be lovely....*sound of chantry exploding in the background*

First Inquisition playthrough - idk none of these characters appeal to me, whatever I guess I will go with this bald elf dude. Cue ugly crying over him removing my Dalish tattoo and being an ACTUAL LITERAL GOD OF MISCHIEF what the actual fuck

What heartbreaking choice will I make this time? Emmerich? He is definitely going to be like, actually already dead or something. Lucanis? Mage hunter sounds appealing when I love to play as a mage.

I think everyone has a popular fandom hot take they hate but I gotta say my least favorite one is the “Samson should’ve been in Cullen’s place during inquisition” because I must’ve met a different version of “maybe Meredith’s right, give mages a little power and they go bad” Samson than you people did
