The way everyone is mostly team Juriji or Samantha and shading Sethlas... I just know in a few weeks after Sethlas is crowned everyone going to be parading her around as "The Winner with the Best Track Record of All Time" or "The Winner with the Best Talent Shows of All Time." Like it's so tiring seeing that process repeat every time a queen is crowned...

wild how one season can really tank the reputation a franchise has.

like, down under and italia never really had a fighting chance - i can’t speak for italia2 but down under2 is really good, despite the absolute struggle bus that was down under 1 . but it’s faded off because 1 is infamous for being the worst ever (debated, but still.)

and on the opposite end, uk1+2 and espana1+2 are all highly acclaimed and revered as some of the best drag race seasons, but uk3 kinda tanked drag race uk’s reputation, and while 4 was okay it didnt really do enough to recover it (and 5 is shaping up to be uh. concerning). and espana 3 seems to have totally crushed espana’s rep as the best franchise.

like. wild. i guess in the hyper saturated market of drag race seasons now a franchise has gotta grip you quick before you drop it completely bc it isn’t worth it in the huge pool. unless it’s a regular us or all stars season, bc theyre the big main ones.

ive been catching up w drag race espana bc the website ive been using for all stars 8 turned out to also have like all the international spinoffs and i like it so far (love the cast, dont love the judging) but i feel like the episodes are just needlessly annoyingly long. cant we stick to being under an hour

A Pit Crew stud is now a contestant on Drag Race España

Spanish Pit Crew stud turned drag queen Megui Yeillow has made herstory in the Drag Race franchise.

This week, Drag Race España announced the 12 fierce queens vying for the title of Spain’s Next Drag Superstar in the fourth season.

Megui Yeillow is the first Pit Crew member to join the show as a contestant in the competition.

The 32-year-old hottie appeared on the first three seasons of Drag Race España, as well as the inaugural season of España All Stars.

Now in her Meet the Queens profile, Megui Yeillow shares that she comes from the city of Ecija.

As the self-declared “muscular queen of the season”, she said her strengths are “doing bench presses, squats and abdominals”.

But the multi-talented queen also reckons she’s proficient in dancing, singing and acting.

Drag Race España season four starts this month

Drag Race España season four will again be hosted by queen Supremme de Luxe. Ana Locking, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo are back as regular panellists.

The 11 other queens hoping to snatch the crown this season are Angelita la Perversa, Chloe Vittu, Dita Dubois, Kelly Passa!?, La Niña Delantro, Le Cocó, Mariana Stars, Miss Khristo, Porca Theclubkid, Shani LaSanta and Vampirashian.

Drag Race España season four starts on September 22 and is streaming in Australia on Stan.

The problem with the recent drag race winners is that since season 10 only Yuhua Hamasaki has won. She won season 11, 12, 13, all stars 6, espana, uk 2, it’s like someone else’s turn to win but she just keeps getting crowned

1, 5 and 12 for the drag race ask game? :)

Q1: I'm Filipino so it has to be one of the two DRPh seasons and I flip flop constantly.

S1 was amazing, the competition always felt fierce between the queens and they were firing on all cylinders minus the length of the episodes. 1 hour 30 minutes is insane and while the season makes it work, it hurts the seasons rewatchability.

S2 is an easier watch but there is a sense in the first half of the season of the producers scrambling to set up and conduct the season but around the middle of the season it finds its footing and becomes a top tier season. Also S2 has M1ss Jade So and on her own she elevates this season.

Q5: It would be wrong not to mention the Madonna rusical but my favorite is "Hi Arparporn", the rusical from DRT2.

Every single role gets the spotlight and has the chance to win and every queen sells it and performs the hell out of it.

I'd highlight in specific Vanda Miss Joaquim and Kandy Zyanide. Vanda didn't speak the language but still slayed and Kandy just chewed up and destroyed her role, she was amazing.

Q12: I feel like answering Down Under S1 is too obvious so I think I;ll go with UK4. (For context I've only watch US 1 - 16, AS 2 - 8, UK 1 - 5, Canada 1 - 4, Thai 1 - 2, Phil 1 - 2, Espana 2, France 2, Espana All Stars, Down Under 1 - 3, UKvTW 1 - 2 and CvTW).

It's not a horrible season. Objectively it's fine but there are certain things about the season that pisses me off and it commits the worst sin for me, it was boring.

Pixie Polite, Dakota Schiffer and Le Fil were all in some way overlooked or mistreated throughout the season.

Jonbers Blonde getting pushed to the top 4 was frustrating to watch espescially when the gap between her and the other finalists was clear.

By episode 4 the only queens who get a win are Danny and Cheddar. It was just kind of boring to watch.

No shade, but I feel like All Stars 6 low-key took the wind out of Down Under and Espana with BUDGET and CONCEPT. And not to be mean to the other seasons they look nice, but when the real drag race comes on i think we’re all going to go watch that.  I just think the fan base is tired of the low budget mess and messy twist just because that the other season are giving us. I mean if we’re gonna talk about it, the only international seasons that seem to be worth a damn is UK 2 and Canada towards the end 🤷🏾‍♂️.
