[ * I had the sketch for this done from not long ago and I felt like coloring it so I grabbed the scan and did this :P ]

Hi! Is there anything about dragon ink that makes him different from other inks? The reason I ask is because I was wondering if he has a special past or personality. I really like your drawings!! have a great day!

[ * umm. There is a silly lil fun fact i hope i haven't mentioned before!!!!!!! ]

[ * They like to collect rocks and sometimes eat them as a replacement to his vials when running out of paint. They're not as effective, but it helps to function well and long enough to be able to refill the vials!! he keeps them in a bag which.... yeah i forgot to add to the ref. so ig it's an optional design detail lol ]

[ * I love dragons, i love Ink, and i decided to smush them together into one perfect creature (ooouuuughhh he's so EHJFHKEHAIOWEDHJI) ]

[ * I turned Ink into a dragon. I do not apologize. I love dragons (I'm actually one) and I also love Ink so um. ya. Here's this!!!!!!!! Took shorter than i expected. Also just realized...... year of the dragon.... hehe ]

did draconink paint his wings or did they just come colored like that

[ * I was originally going to say they came in colored like that but I had a moment of creative genius and I came up with smth better ]

[ * The wing insides originally were white, but as they felt empty and void-like to Draconink (which is scary to the poor guy), he decided to paint the wings in order to avoid that feel of emptiness. They're rainbow because it just looked much more visually interesting and eye-catching than a flat color or a gradient (even with multiple colors), plus more overwhelming but in a good way! ]

[ * Sometimes the paint gets washed off, and when that happens they usually just paint back the colors :) ]

[ * Maybe sometimes he does experiment with painting different things on, though! I think that would add some great room to mess with his design hehe ]

does dragon ink paint with his tail

[ * Yeah!!! I've had the concept of paintbrush-looking/functioning tails spinning around in my brain for literal years and I've been putting it everywhere I could which, of course, includes the silly Draconink critter ]

[ * I feel like he would take advantage of this to paint on big canvases (and by big canvases I mean walls) and also as a bonus may use it to handle his magic (did I mention that the tail is pretty much their Broomie? i probably did) ]

[ * also very expressive of course hehe ]

[ * But anyways TLDR; Yep they paint with their tail!!!! ]
