You had wrapped yourself in a blanket,your period had started and you felt miserable. Your husband looks at you.

"What's wrong?" He asked calmly

"Everything" He sighed as he sat down on your shared bed,his expression a mixture of concern and understanding. 

"Have you taken anything for it? Any painkillers?" You nodded. 

"But it still hurts"

"Anything I can do to help?"

"I could use some cuddles,maybe some kisses” You pursed your lips at him.He shifted a bit closer to you, allowing him to lean down and press a few kisses on your face and forehead.

"I think that can be arranged. Cuddles, kisses, even a massage if you'd like."You put your arms on his shoulders. 

"That sounds nice" You kissed his cheek. He wrapped his arm around you carefully. He held you close against him, his chest warm and steady.

"Anything for you, my love." He pressed kisses all over your face and neck,his fingers tracing soothing patterns on your back. You giggled,cupping his face and kissing him on the lips. He deepened the kiss immediately, his mouth moving against yours hungrily. He pulled you even closer against him, his arms holding you tightly. You pulled him even closer,you knew where this was going. But you didn't want to,you were in too much pain to take this all the way. 

"Not today,It still hurts"

"It's alright, my love. We don't have to do anything if you're in pain. I just wanted to make you feel better."

"It did kinda work" You chuckled,"but I don't feel like going further at least not now" He smiled at your response, 

"I understand, my dear. We'll just have to stick to cuddles and kisses for now. And maybe a massage, like I promised."
