Lm3 headcanons/I'm back!

Hey, I'm back after another while, lol.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone 🦃 or Christmas to those who celebrate early🎄

Anyway, I wanted to make a headcanon list of the boss ghost from Luigi's Mansion 3 since I'm currently hyperfixated on it again, lol. It's one of my favorite games, I especially love the ghosts too. I like to think that some of the boss ghosts can't really leave the hotel or choose to stay in the hotel due to rage, sorrow, obligation or just to chill(which is half-freed)

Freed soul = 🟡

Bound soul(by rage, sorrow, etc) = 🔵

Half freed = 🟢

These are my headcanons for them:

Steward: used to work at the hotel before it was taken over. Felt obligated to stay there 🔵

Chambrea: also worked there and also felt obligated 🔵

Kruller: Has nowhere else to really go after he died 🟡

Chef soufflé: Worked there and felt obligation too 🔵

Amadeus Wolfgeist: Out of rage for nobody taking him seriously as a pianist when he was alive. Decided to stay and terrorize any human who listens to him perform 🟢

King MacFrights: Out of vengeance for his fallen kingdom and the royal family 🔵

Dr. Potter: Stayed to take care of his plants. Just chilling 🟡

Morty: To make movies and express his ✨️art✨️ 🟡

Ug: Bound by the t-rex that ate him. Stays in the museum mostly 🔵

Clem: The janitor of the hotel. Felt obligated too, although can leave 🟢

Serpci: Just to chill. Doesn't hold any anger or grudge, died with honor but decided to stay and hang out 🟡

Nikki, Lindsey, and Ginney: Wanted to stay and show their magic to everyone in the hotel, trying to reach the fame they never could before they died 🟢

Captain Fishook: Isn't bound at all but chooses to stay and hang out with some of the minor ghosts his "crew". One of the more friendly ghosts as he died knowing he did what a captain should, but misses his past crew dearly. Can leave the hotel whenever he likes and floats around, feeling more free than ever before 🟡

Johnny Deepend: Only half bound by his sorrow. He died while playing water polo with his best friend as he accidentally got caught on some rocks. His friend was too late to save him and they both feel guilt. He just hopes his friend is ok and living his life 🟢

Phantasmagloria: Isn't bound but stays to chill and dance the afterlife away 🟡

Hellen gravely: Bound as she used to own the hotel + king boo, lol 🔵

Bonus:

Polterkitty + Polterpup: Were born and raised together accidentally but got separated. Polterpup was run over accidentally and Polterkitty died from falling ill 🟡(for both)

Dr. Potter make his own botanical experiment for Valentine's Day called Heartose (Name of Heart and Rose), it has power of good-hearted to people who has negative feelings to their friends or/and family. He got a good idea for Valentine's Day.

and then it was like “you just proved that all information needed to shift is already in your hands”

let’s talk about it—so many shifters have spent hours obsessing over their comfort characters. like, not just casually liking them, but worshipping every single thing they do. from their messy hair to their stupid one-liners to how they hold a coffee cup—clocked it all. you’ve been practically crawling through the desert for their every move, memorizing their quirks, and feeling tsunamis of emotion over the tiniest details. they yawned? perfection. they glared? iconic. they exist? life-changing. i don’t have to explain this to you, you get the picture

it’s completely natural to feel like you’ve gotta put in the work to even things out. you’re out here thinking, “how do I make them see me the way I see them?” through your script you’re trying to charm them, show off your personality, and make sure they fall as hard as you already have. you might feel like every move has to be flawless, like you’re auditioning for the role of Most Important Person in Their Life

gentle reminder that your comfort character isn’t just a walking aesthetic—they’re layered, real, and perfectly imperfect (which, tbh, is probably why you fell for them in the first place.) and once they catch even a glimpse of who you are, it’s game over for them. they’re gonna feel that energy you’ve been radiating for years, and it’ll be magnetic (they’re gonna be sooo glued to you you’re gonna be looking at them like they’re crazy.)

so why does it matter? at the end of the day, script whatever you want the people in your DR to feel about you, script experiences to bring you closer until your fingers fall off and your head pops—their unconditional love for you is inevitable, so why should anyone be concerned about the rest stops on the trip there?

MATTHEO RIDDLE moodboard & dr headcanons!

1 • he loves hot showers, so hot to the point he feels like his skin is melting off. they relieve all the pressure and stress he felt that day.

2 • very obvious but he is a heavy drinker- it just makes everything in his head quiet which is why he abuses alcohol.

3 • ANGER ISSUES!!! this man has no self control when he’s in a heated moment. he just lashes out and releases all his pent up anger on someone or something whether it’s physical or verbal, he has no shame. UNTIL the aftermath when he’s drinking away the pain.

4 • concerts are HIS THING. he lovesss being in the pit with a crowd just screaming songs for hours, just dancing under the lights and dancing around. he’s reallyyy in his element here. concert basher 4L

5 • the smiths, the 1975, chase atlantic, the evermore album by TS, sleeping at last, post malone, cold play, TV girl, arctic monkeys, the neighbourhood, frank ocean, brent faiyaz… are all part of his go to playlist.

6 • he’s allergic to cats but he loves them so much, always friendly with the cats around school and pets them in secret. he really wants a black cat named auggie but he’s having trouble finding a black hypoallergenic cat :/

7 • theo is his ride or die. he loves that man more than anything in the world. (apart from me…)

8 • this man can draw??? he draws things he finds beautiful, his journal is full of his thoughts that surround his drawings, kind of like captions but it’s what he felt at the time. hyacinths and bluebells, british shorthair and ragdoll cats, oak and spruce trees, and outlines of students in the hall that pass him just fill the pages of his journal.
