I just think she's so silly and evil- My nails were getting long so I decided "eh WHY TF NOT!?" and made them pointy heheh (well pointy enough to not accidentally hurt myself, the gods know I'm too clumsy-)

I am aware that Dr. Axyon is meant to be based off various James bond villains, but she kinda reminds me of Dr. Eggman from the sonic series, I mean if you think about it, both are villainous Masterminds who are known for their high intellect, goals for world domination, as well as having a personal vendetta towards the hero.

Oh I can def see why you made that connection yeah! A big inspo for the League are iconic cartoony villains like Eggman, so that's a fair comparison KJSHFS I've already drawn her saying the iconic Real Time Fandub's Eggman line of "I miss my wife tails", so here's another one for ya.

I think, I said everything in this??? Here's a bonus headcanon for Dr. Axyon and Professor Terror! ^^

They become close after Axyon opens up about what happened between Emile and her in an argument. The villains are equals, despite Axyon being the leader, she's more like organizing than leading if you will.

Due to his villain name, Fear became a nickname she uses for him, because it rhymes with "dear", also an affectionate nickname. To clarify, THIS IS PLATONIC (since yk I usually ship these two LMAO)

I'm currently busy with life thangs so progress on the au is a little bit slow - BUT !! There's definitely a lot in the works, which includes...SIDE CHARACTERS WOOOH YEAH!! I just had a stroke of inspiration to (ssorta) finalize Hellforge's HENCHMEN. MINIONS. Classic villain GOONS!! Hellforge has more employees under his wing, but Nora, Effy and Cort are his main right hands! They tend to be the ones he turns to for any upcoming schemes and plans and whatnot.

Because of this, Hellforge had asked them for help in the League of ID - they would be paid for their time and effort accordingly, but these guys have a strong passion for the art of villainy (and they enjoy their boss's presence a lot), of course they'd love to help! Honorary League members and all that. As of the League forming, they can be seen helping Dr. Axyon and Professor Terror too!

Their personalities are... NOT fleshed out too much as of now, to be honest I just wanted to show y'all the designs for now. The initial idea I had for them was "the three stooges/like all those silly minions villains have". So at least they have that going for 'em. It's important to know that they love working with each other...mmmaybe to a codependent degree. They all have intense reactions to stress - they could Absolutely wreck shit if things got REAL dicey.

The left sketch WAS the first concept for these three, they were supposed to resemble the mind worker jellybean designs more...I never went down further in this stage because um. I really wanted to try something else with their shape inspirations. The second sketch was the basis for the kinda-final designs earlier in this post, though I still wanted to keep the round-sharp-big silhouettes for them. Had to switch Nora and Adri/Effy's names for design reasons.

@re-colligere uuuuuuh- I wanted to turn this into a very dramatic angst comic, but when I tried to draw, it didn't work??? Like do you ever see an idea in your head, but when you try to draw it, it doesn't look like how you imagined it??? I hate it-

So here's the script turned into a fic lol

Leandro hasn't been Professor Terror for very long. He remembers his meeting with the leader of the league far too well for his liking.

"Welcome home Terror." She had told him. Those were the only words she had addressed to him.

Polite salutations, small pleasantries and other manner of small talk was all they had. He was so close to Hellforge and Joyce, but whenever Dr. Axyon entered the room, everyone had to bend to her will. If evil could be measured, maybe it would show how she truly was the most villainous in the league. He felt a strong need for her approval, her compassion, her companionship, and he hated it. With the others it was easy, what had he done to set up her walls so f*cking high?

Everytime he walked by her, he thought of stopping her to have a conversation, but she walked by him everytime, with what he could only assume was an unassuming polite smile directed towards him.

Today, he saw her head towards her office elevator, (yes, she has an elevator that leads only to her office; she's that kind of villain.) This time, he had her cornered. He followed her to the elevator and confronted her before she could reached the door. What was it about him that put her off? He thought they had so much in common! And that the league was about teamwork? Friendship? Why wouldn't she accept his advances, his attempts at closeness? Despite how socially aware he was, it's hard to read someone who wears a mask. Was it him or was it her? Axyon stood there, back facing him.

Surprisingly she apologized, saying she's very 'do as I say, not as I do.'

"I had a friendship with a member before you. We were really close, but we had our demons and after an argument, we took some time apart... in that time, the members of EGO took her away from us!!!!" She hit her fist to the door of the elevator, "... and I didn't even get to apologize."

Terror tried to reassure her, saying he understood and how he sympathized, but she wouldn't listen, pushing him away when he reached out. He just got here, he couldn't understand! She wasn't asking for sympathy, she was asking for space! He didn't know her, he was just like everyone else! And just like everyone else, once he'd seen her true nature- She took off her mask.

Fear spread onto his face and he recoiled.

"That's exactly how everyone else reacts... everyone but her."

Terror tried to apologize quickly before the elevator door closes. He didn't mean to react that way, he just wasn't expecting the reveal!

"Please?" He held the elevator door open by just enough for her to see his eyes.

The doctor let out a chuckle, "Thank you for caring, Fear." She pushed his face away from the elevator and the door closed.

Terror backed up and watched through the glass elevator as she ascended, a little confused and hopeful smile crawling into his face.

HEHE thank you so much anon!! I'm glad yall enjoy those silly fellers. I'll definitely think about more stuff for them Later but...here's a few that I've got, while we're here:

Nora's specialty is combat and firepower, Effy's is weapon design and engineering, and Cort's is brute strength and defense.

They're an energetic trio that share the same braincell lmao. You'd think that Effy Might be the most reasonable one - no. He's smart, but he's also off the walls bonkers.

Cort has a sweet tooth. She can be seen eating a lollipop or munching on a few candies that she brings in her pockets.

Nora looves starting fights, sometimes even without a good reason.

They're also very supportive of their boss/es at ID. They're ID's personal cheerleaders. Everyone really likes these guys, and they love everyone!

Like I said in the OG Hellguys post, they help Dr. Axyon and Prof. Terror with anything that requires more manpower, maybe weapon advice when Hellforge isn't around. They rarely work with Joyce other than giving her sweeet weapons. The nature of her work doesn't usually require minions, but they still hang out with her a lot anyways.

They did not like Emile when she was part of ID. Her low energy put them off a bit too much.

I don’t know why, but Dr. Axyon having been a psychologist before has me thinking.

There’s a certain kind of loneliness that can come with that position. The greater knowledge over the mind and its inner workings compared to the average person and how it places one on a different wavelength of thought than most, if not everyone else. The creeping realisation that of all that come, no one really stays; they’re done and gone they finally get what they initially came in for.

The horrible irony that the one in the position of giving help is just as, if not more likely, to wound up needing help themselves, only to then be left alone to their own devices simply because they already have the existing knowledge and thus, in the eyes of others, don’t need that extra assistance.

I’m not sure if Axyon even has experienced that before, or still does to some extent now, but I can’t help but wonder.

putting them together in one post because i feel like they touch on the same themes, and yyyeah - these are some pretty good observations! Another point I'd love to add: all that knowledge could also make Dr. Axyon much more paranoid about everyone else's ulterior motives. Double-checking, double-crossing. Even with what she's learned through her degree, she was still deceived after all. There's only a few people that are on the same wavelength as her, and time will tell if she finally makes good use of her smarts as well as her instincts.
