lanyon with someone who's from the future and deliberately traveled to past claiming that their gadgets are from magic just to piss him off? afaik in the novel he doesn't support supernaturalism and jekyll's balderdash so the intereaction would be funny lmfao (could be platonic or romantic depends on you)
take care!

⠀⠀⠀: ᯓ 𝟎𝟎𝟐.⠀ LANYON X READER
› 〉 𝟎𝟎𝟑. SYNOPSIS, Lanyon just doesn't believe in magic and you're not making it any easier
› 〉 𝟎𝟎𝟒. WARNINGS, none apart from maybe out of character historically wise.
› 〉 𝟎𝟎𝟓. AUTHOR'S NOTES, I'm happy to do another Jekyll and Hyde request!! :) I may have went overboard.
Tumblr media
「 ★ 」 ⠀・At first Lanyon is gonna be very skeptical of you, I mean you're this random person (dressed in some really weird clothes btw) preaching to him about how you're 'magical', it's slightly insulting to him.
⠀「 ★ 」 ⠀・He questions you a lot, mostly the basic ones like "who are you?" and "where did you come from?" and of course, the classic "what do you want from me?" I mean lets be serious it is slightly tiring because he keeps repeating himself.
You sighed, clearly annoyed- Lanyon kept asking you the same damn questions and it was eating away at your brain, who knew someone like this would be so irritating to be around? You sure as hell didnt. "Lanyon, Lanyon- please just stop, I already told you I'm NOT an alien, or some freaky monster that's gonna come after you... jesus" "I don't believe you" you deadpanned, wow- how the actual fuck does this guy have friends "Well then why do you keep asking me these dumb ass questions?" you retorted, leaning back on your chair, blowing a rasberry to the cieling of his room.
"Well pardon me for questioning the person who just broke into my home, you should feel lucky I havent even informed the authorities." his comment made you laugh, did everyone in this time period seriously talked like this? It sounds stupid, like no one from your time line ever speaks like this, no one calls the feds the 'authorities' unless they're older than 60. Your laughing seemed to make him extremely upset, though it wasnt like he could do anything he tried when you arrived: he tried to shoot you out of terror but the moment the bullet came closer to you it disintigrated. "Don't laugh at me." "My deepest apologies my dearest gentleman!"
「 ★ 」 ⠀・Thats pretty much how your 'friendship' started, and from then on you wouldn't leave him alone, always talking about how magical you are and use your devices to annoy Lanyon. Whenever you two are alone he tries to study you to see if you're lying or telling the truth
「 ★ 」 ⠀・Since you're always around him you've got to meet his friends; Utterson and Jekyll, who liked you (but thats only because you didn't act the same as you did to Lanyon). Jekyll esspecially found you interesting but you avoided him- after all you know his secret and dont really wanna get involved with stuff like that PLUSSS you gotta keep Lanyon company.
「 ★ 」 ⠀・speaking of, whenever you're around Lanyon you use a phone, which freaks him tf out because what the hell do you mean you can text people in RUSSIA within seconds? That's impossible.... to him.
"[name]?" you heard the voice of lanyon call out to you, in turn you lifted your head and met his eyes "Yeah?" "What is that?" he pointed to your phone "It's my phone?" ... "what is a phone?"
Yeah you loved explaining a phone to him, watching his eyes buldge out of his skull as you kept talking about the internet and what Wi-fi is. Then everyday, when you two would have a chance to talk you'd show him other devices you owned, to which he'd allways call you a 'witch', whether it was a joke or not you really didn't care.
「 ★ 」 ⠀・When Lanyon found out about Hyde and Jekyll being the same person you were there, making sure to keep him as sane as possible and safe in case Hyde or Jekyll tried anything- after all you and him grew closer over the months you were with him. You did also video everything with a secret camera just incase of anything.
「 ★ 」 ⠀・You expected him to not get as sick as he did originally because you were there and shocked him but unfortunately you couldnt stop it. He was going to end up dying, and in a sad way you blamed yourself; you did force the plot forward.
"[name] I dont need you here okay? I'll be okay, my servants will take care of me" "Bullshit! they don't know anything about medication or taking care of someone" You agrued with Lanyon, staring at him solemly- he was dying and you could tell, you've seen people die like everyday (while you did glorify the future world to Lanyon it was all just you projecting, your timeline is just as bad as the medieval one). "I still have a bunch of stuff I can try to use" You rummaged through your bag after calming down, not daring to look at your friend's sad expression, it would make you emtotional too.
"If nothing can help me from your items, let alone mine, then I'm not worth it... I just still cannot wrap my head around everything." "Then dont, it will only make you worse Lan" You finally had the mental strength to look at him, seeing his pale and tired face made your heart ache, maybe if you never came he's be okay?. no of course he wouldn't be, he'd still die except it would be alone. You just thought that with your arrival and your tech you would be able to at least numb his reaction a bit but I guess seeing a murderer transform into one of your old friends would cause everyone to live in shock, or maybe not. "[Name] listen, promise me, that if I die... which I will, will you keep Utterson company? I fear at the thought of him.... or you being alone after my death"
When did he become so fucking sentimental? with a sad chuckle you responded "I thought you hated me? becuase I'm magical?" "No, I mean, I still find your antics slightly frustating but nothing can be done now. Just please promise me" "okay... fine Lanyon, I promise" ... it took him a while to answer you but he did "Thank you [name], not for just that but for being around me? I suppose your company brought me some sense of joy....." "Thank you too Lan"
「 ★ 」 ⠀・It did break your heart to see Lanyon die, but you had a promise to fufill, and that you did. You kept Utterson company until the day he found about everything too and eventually accepted everything. Even though he gave you chacne to leave him alone you didn't, afterall you had made a promise to Lanyon. What kind of a friend would you be if you didn't keep your promise? a terrible one.
「 ★ 」 ⠀・You justed hoped that Lanyon was at peace.

Mutual Understanding
pairings: Shadow the Hedgehog x reader (platonic)
warnings: sonic 3 spoilers, mentions of death, trauma bonding lol!!!
summary: as the assistant in training for Stone, you’re tasked with keeping an eye on the black and red haired hedgehog
a/n: just watched sonic 3, I love it so much I immediately wrote this as soon as I got home, please enjoy and go watch it as soon as possible (I LOVE YOU SHADOW AUAGHH)
Tumblr media
You watched as Stone left the Crab, running a quick errand so he could finish the suits he was making for Robotnik and his grandfather Gerald. You had a strange feeling about him and you could tell Stone did too but as assistants all you could do was brush it aside.
As Stone left you looked towards your right, Shadow stood near you his eyes staring at where your mentor was standing only moments ago, before his head tilted to glance at you. His eyes scanned you, as you scanned him back, you knew what he was capable of, you were warned but you couldn’t help but keep looking.
Shadow held his gaze on you before he turned away, looking at the television still playing in the background, the telenovela now capturing his attention.
You watched him as he stared ahead. Deciding you had nothing else to do, you sat down on the floor, not daring to get near Dr Robotniks chair, knowing he’d notice if it was moved even a centimeter. A sigh escaped your lips as whatever was going on in the strange show kept going on, you tried to get into it but it felt too generic for you.
“Why are you here,” Was the first thing you’d heard him say. You perked up at his sudden question, this was the first time since you’d met him that shadow had talked to you.
“What?” You asked him, curious as to what he meant.
He looked back at you, no longer paying attention to the show, “I asked why are you here”
You slightly raised a brow still somewhat confused, “Well I’m uh- an apprentice here so it’s like kinda my job?” You shrugged at the hedgehog, slightly raising your arms.
Shadow didn’t seem satisfied with your answer. The room settled into an uncomfortable silence as Shadow continued to just stare at you.
Nervously you glanced around the room, not out of fear but just confusion as to what he even meant.
“Are you alone?”
“What.” You asked, deadpanning at the straightforward question, “Obviously not-“
“No” Shadow cut you off, “Why are you with them?”
You knew who he was referring to, Stone and Robotnik. Obviously they weren’t your parents, it was easy to see from the way they treated you. Stone was kind but he wasn’t very parental, he was more of a teacher. Robotnik was definitely not parental, he was more like a demanding boss who didn’t give his workers equal pay.
“They’re all I have,” you bluntly responded to the hedgehog, as you slowly brought your legs closer to you.
Noticing the uncomfortable feeling you were getting Shadows gaze somewhat fell, maybe it was empathy or something else that you couldn’t quite understand.
Nervously you fiddled with the necklace around your neck, a two little star emblems given to you by your late mother.
Shadows eyes widened, he stepped closer to you trying to get a glimpse at the necklace. You looked up at him, an arm around your legs, the other gripping the necklace tight.
“You like?” You asked him, noticing how his legs uncontrollably moved him closer to you. His gaze was still fixed on it, as if he was remembering, “My mom gave this to me before she passed, she loved the stars, I do too honestly.”
He slowly sat down in front of you, both of you now looking at each other. Slightly noticing his distress you hesitantly took off the necklace, passing it to him so he could get a closer look. You knew he wouldn’t take it, of course you’d just met him but it felt as if you two had known each other before.
The necklace was silver, it was nicely kept; obviously cleaned regularly although it was a bit too small for you by now but that didn’t seem to stop you from wearing it. On it were two stars, one big star and another smaller star, it looked as if they were shining, but one was brighter than the other.
“A light still shines even though the star is gone,” You mumbled looking at the necklace in Shadows hands. His gaze quickly snapped up, his usual angry demeanor faltering to show a small look of shock.
“What?..” Shadow asked, as he looked between you and the necklace.
You laid on your back, your knees up letting out a sigh, “It’s just, you know something I like to say when I think about her,”
Shadow got up from his sitting position, he walked over to your side, handing you the necklace back as he laid down next to you. There were no stars inside the Crab, just a bunch of machine and technology that you truly didn’t understand half of.
There was a comfortable silence now, as you two laid down next to each other; Shadow sighed, for the first time it sounded like he was free, like the demons from his past were no longer attacking his every thought.
He turned his head to look at you, “You remind me of her,”
Snapping out of your trance you looked back at him, eyebrows slightly raised, “Who?” You asked, your tone soft as to not startle him.
His gaze was, soft, no longer angry at the world, maybe at himself, you really couldn’t tell, “Someone I used to know a long time ago,”
You let out a hum of acknowledgment, “She sounds nice,” you said, looking back towards the roof of the contraption.
Shadow still looked at you, you were no Maria, but you made him rethink; that maybe, maybe the world isn’t as bad as he thought it was, maybe there were people worth saving.
“She was.”

one request <3 (im really bad at explaining)
how some hsr characters would react to a reader that are into otome games?
HSR characters with a Reader who's into Otome Games
Synopsis: How would some of these characters react to having a Reader who's into Otome Games?
Tags: Veritas Ratio x Reader, Aventurine x Reader, Jade x Reader, Kafka x Reader, Blade x Reader, Jing Yuan x Reader, Headcanons, Fluff, Established Relationship or could be read as Platonically, Psychological Themes, Banter, Supportive, Deep Discussions.
Warnings: Teasing, Occasional Dark Humor, Discussions On Morality And Psychology, References To Manipulation, Themes Of Ambition And Power Dynamics, Light Romance, Exploration Of Past Trauma(?).
A/N: I wish there was a HSR mod where we could romance the characters 😪😕
Tumblr media
Dr. Veritas Ratio
Ratio would be intrigued by the narratives and character development in otome games, seeing them as an interesting exploration of human relationships and emotional intelligence.
He might initially scoff at what he considers shallow romantic tropes, but upon further discussion, he'd appreciate the complexities and motivations of the characters.
He’d encourage you to analyze the storylines critically, turning your hobby into a learning experience about psychology and social dynamics.
He’d love to engage in debates about your favorite characters and choices, often challenging your views to foster deeper discussions.
Tumblr media
Aventurine
Aventurine would tease you about your obsession with fictional characters, using his charm to poke fun while secretly enjoying the playful banter.
He’d be fascinated by the strategic elements of the games, perhaps even comparing life to a game of chance, finding ways to apply his risk-taking mentality to the scenarios.
He might surprise you with gifts that reference your favorite games, like custom trinkets or stylish outfits inspired by characters, showing his support.
Tumblr media
Jade
Jade might initially appear skeptical, viewing otome games as frivolous, but would soon become intrigued by the underlying themes of ambition and emotional manipulation.
She’d encourage you to see beyond the surface, urging you to analyze the dynamics of power and desire within the narratives.
Jade might even suggest treating your interest as a business endeavor, perhaps exploring ways to monetize your passion through game-related content.
If you have any game merchandise, she might admire your collection, possibly wanting to trade valuable items or share insights about the game's market value.
Tumblr media
Kafka
Kafka would find the psychological elements of otome games fascinating, especially the manipulation of characters and narratives, seeing parallels with her own skills.
She’d casually drop remarks about the games, comparing the characters’ strategies to her own, which could lead to deeper discussions about morality and choices.
Kafka would be especially interested in the character designs and fashions, perhaps wanting to discuss or even replicate certain styles for herself.
If the games feature memorable outfits or coats, she might express a desire to acquire similar pieces, leading to playful banter about your mutual interests.
Tumblr media
Blade
Blade might initially express a cynical view of otome games, seeing them as naive distractions from the harsh realities of life.
He would likely make darkly humorous comments about the characters’ romantic dilemmas, providing a contrasting perspective that could spark interesting conversations.
Despite his cynicism, he might secretly enjoy the escape they provide, finding a strange comfort in the fictional dramas.
Blade would likely appreciate the themes of love and loss, connecting them to his own tragic past and engaging in deeper discussions about the nature of relationships.
Tumblr media
Jing Yuan
Jing Yuan would appreciate the storytelling aspect of otome games, often relating it to historical tales and strategic narratives he values.
He might offer calm, insightful perspectives on the choices you make in games, helping you to consider the ramifications of those decisions.
Jing Yuan would be supportive of your passion, perhaps asking about your favorite games and characters, fostering a sense of connection.
He’d likely inject gentle humor into the conversation, lightening the mood and making the topic of otome games feel more engaging and less frivolous.

The Strange Case of Doctor Jade and Mr. Floyd (Part 1) - Jade
Author Notes: Tis October, so here is a Halloween-themed fic! I read a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde inspired fic with Jade and Floyd quite some time ago (I'm pretty sure it was Azul x reader actually) but I can no longer find it, so I'm afraid I can't link it and I can't remember the author or the fic name either (such is my memory). But anyway, I wanted to try doing my own spin on the idea and, fear not, mine ended up wildly different from the one I read. And I won't lie, I kind of wanted to make this series longer, but I cut myself off at 4 chapters because (a) that's how many Fridays there are in October and (b) I didn't know where to take this series. Reader is gender-neutral and I hope you all enjoy!
Type: Gender neutral reader/ sfw/ sort of fluff/ romance implied/ platonic relationship/ kind of mafia AU/ some drama/ intrigue??
[Part One: You're Here!], [Part Two], [Part 3], [Part 4]
Word count: 2523
Trigger Warning: Mentions of blood
Tumblr media
I looked up, immediately smiling as the door opened and in strolled Jade. An ever polite smile on his seemingly flawless face as he looked over at me with practiced gentility, “Good morning, Y/n.”
I nodded at him, reaching down under my desk to grab the package Azul had left for him just moments earlier, “Good morning, Dr. Jade. Mr. Carews called and requested that you call him back, and Mr. Ashengrotto just came by and left a package for you.”
Jade let out a hum as he eyed the small package, a slight frown appearing on his face at the mention of the first man before his two-toned gaze flickered up to meet mine. Amusement flickering in his mismatched eyes as he tilted his head, the motion causing the singularly long, dark grey strand of his otherwise short turquoise hair to swing wildly, “Did Azul say anything?”
I shook my head, as I sifted through a pile of papers. All appointments, letters, and general paperwork, “No, he and I chatted for a while, but he didn’t leave a message for you. Why? Are you expecting something from him?”
I paused to glance questioningly up at the doctor, who shook his head. An amused smile spreading across his face as he rested one gloved hand against his chin, “No, but it is as I feared. You have quite charmed my work partner.”
I snorted at his teasing, shaking my head slightly, “Hardly. He was just being polite.”
Jade hummed, straightening as he balanced the package in one hand easily, “I sincerely doubt that, my dear. I do fear he might soon come to steal you away.”
I rolled my eyes, mething his gaze once more, “Azul has no need of a receptionist, so I doubt there is any real fear of that.”
Jade let out a quiet chuckle as I held out a slender sheet of paper, “Here, this is Mr. Carews’s number. He sounded very upset when he called, so I imagine he’ll want to schedule an appointment.”
He quietly eyed the paper before accepting, “Yes, I suppose he will, considering everything that’s going on.”
I frowned at his words, perfectly used to Jade’s occasionally ominous statements by now, but I tilted my head at him nonetheless as I gave way to my own wary curiosity, “Are you talking about that new criminal that supposedly looks exactly like you? ‘Mr. Floyd,’ was it?”
Jade’s characteristically discreet smile split into a grin. One that displayed his pointed teeth that he always kept hidden behind close-lipped smiles whenever any patients were nearby, and in many ways I genuinely believed that the first time I’d seen it had been entirely accidental on his part. But at this point I also honestly suspected that Jade only smiled like that when he was truly, and perhaps villainously, amused.
His voice was filled with humor, as evidenced by his slight chuckle as he spoke, “Ah, yes, that fellow. So you’ve heard of him too?”
I blinked slightly at his words before smiling in slight disbelief and shaking my head, “Hasn’t everyone? It seems like everyone’s talking about him. People on the streets, patients in your waiting room, the newspapers….”
I trailed off amusedly as Jade tilted his head at me, his eyes flashing with a far-too-clever glimmer, “And what do you think of this ‘Mr. Floyd’?”
I felt my eyebrows raise at Jade’s question. But, in all fairness, I suppose it only made sense for him to be at least slightly curious about the criminal that everyone had been likening him to.
Though, knowing Jade, I doubted that any of the gossip actually bothered him. In fact, Jade would be more likely to find their gossip rather amusing.
“Well, I suppose he may have a passing resemblance to you based on what people say, but it can’t be anything too awfully close. After all, neither the practice nor your reputation have been hurt by any of the rumors,” I finally answered. Lifting one shoulder in a half-shrug before I frowned slightly, “Beyond that, I haven’t heard much about him. No one actually talks about anything he’s done. Just that he supposedly looks like you and apparently can’t be caught.”
Jade blinked at my words, his eyes widening in an almost comedic fashion before a slow smile crept across his face as his gaze shifted back to something more amused, “Yes, I suppose there isn’t much information about him, is there?”
He paused, tilting his head slightly before finishing in an oddly pleased manner that had me frowning slightly, “I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see how things pan out, won’t we?”
I was almost tempted to question as he turned to go but I stayed silent. Instead, watching as he walked off with his package, as I idly considered his words before tilting my head with a slight frown.
Because it was odd, now that I considered it. The way Azul kept sending mysterious little packages so cryptically.
The rest of the day rolled by uneventfully, though, with patients coming and going. Ever-thrilled to be seeing that the esteemed Dr. Jade. Though how Jade kept up the ‘esteemed’ part of his reputation was beyond me.
It was true that he was the perfect image of a gentleman and was by far a good employer whom I got along well with. But it was also true that it hadn’t taken me very long after getting hired as his receptionist to figure out that there was far more to him than just his good looks, intelligence, and faux-polite smile.
If nothing else, Jade was a master of manipulation, and he could be beyond slippery at times. And then there was the way he’d emerged from his office with a distinctly smug expression to tell me that Mr. Carews did indeed want an appointment and for me to be sure to schedule plenty of time.
And that was, of course, in and of itself perfectly innocent. Jade was a well-respected doctor after all. If Mr. Carews needed an appointment, even a long one, that wasn’t really very strange.
But the way Jade’s pleasure had seemed all too villainous was odd and had me shaking my head with a frown even as I was walking down the street on my way home.
It wasn’t the first time I’d questioned Jade’s flawless reputation, though.
I might have bought into it at the start, when I’d applied for the job of his receptionist, but I didn’t now.
But I also had no idea why he seemed so perfectly villainous sometimes, and the fact that I got along with him so well despite my occasional concerns had me questioning my own sense.
Jade had appeared out of nowhere, with similar timing to Azul’s appearance in town. Both reasonably well-respected from the start, and by now they’d built up quite the reputations as well as quite a bit of money.
Jade, as a supposedly moral character who helped the sick and ailing with all sorts of problems, and Azul, as a businessman who could help most anyone find what they needed.
The two of them had already been friends when they’d both shown up within days of one another and set up their businesses with the implicit understanding that they worked together.
Both of them were a bit of a mystery, and both of them were men I’d ended up working with and getting along with rather well. But all of it was still odd enough to make me sometimes question their sudden appearance and the way Jade seemed to always know stuff about people.
After all, that was why he was regarded as so good at his job. The sheer amount of information he had about what troubled individuals.
I paused mid-step as something caught my eye through my peripheral vision, causing me to turn and look down a darkened, trash-filled street before my eyes widened in recognition.
Because there, of all people, sat Jade himself with a hand pressed to his now bloodied right arm, even though he’d only left the office shortly before I had.
My mind swirled with questions about how he’d gotten hurt, what exactly had happened, and what on earth was doing here when his house was in the exact opposite direction. But none of those thoughts slowed me down as I darted across the street. Heedless of others passing by.
I all but dropped to the ground beside him, my hand reaching out to try and shove his hand out of the way so I could get a better look at his injury as words flew from my mouth in a garbled mix of distress and genuine concern, “What happened to you?!! We need to get you some help! I’ll call the hospital and-”
He jerked back at my sudden appearance, staring at me with wide eyes, and I felt myself go still as my words came to an abrupt halt as I stared back at this young man who was so familiar but also wholly foreign to me.
A yellow right eye and an olive left one, both of which were slightly drooped at the edges, giving him an almost gentle appearance. But Jade’s eyes were sharper and more upturned at the edges, with his right eye being olive and the left being yellow.
And then there was the hair. The same shade of turquoise, but where Jade had his longer stand of dark grey hair that framed the left side of his face, this man’s longer strand hung on the right side of his face.
He was a perfect mirror image of my employer, but the simple fact of the matter was that this man was not Jade. And suddenly all I could think was the rumors of the very criminal Jade had questioned me about just today.
Mr. Floyd. The criminal that no one could catch, who looked uncannily like Jade.
I swallowed thickly as he blinked back at me, his expression slowly shifting to surprise to something more intelligent that had me both mentally and physically retreating.
I slowly let go of his hand, pulling back as I let out a nervous laugh, “Sorry… I must have gotten the wrong person….”
I trailed off as I hurriedly backtracked, about to stand and scurry away only for him to catch my hand in his, which I noticed all too late was also different from Jade’s.
I froze at his sudden touch as I stared at where his hand now held mine captive before my gaze darted back up to his face.
If he was bothered by my sudden wariness, he didn’t show it as he stared back at me and clearly identified me despite the fact I’d never met him, “You work for Jade.”
In no way were his words a question. They were a statement. Like he knew it for a fact, and I felt myself nod even as I scrambled to figure out what I needed to do now.
I had no idea what sort of crimes this man had committed or anything about him. And even if I had paid more attention to the gossip about him, I still wouldn’t know anything.
“Dr. Jade? Yes, I- I’m his receptionist,” And I only faltered slightly as I responded to him. Feeling both very much out of my depth.
He stared back at me, his expression oddly, before a sharp-toothed grin crossed his face that had my eyes widening as his grip on my hand tightened slightly, “I guess I’d better get you back home then? Hm~ It’d be a shame for something to happen to the respected doctor’s receptionist.”
I blinked at his lilted words. My confusion only increasing as my wariness remained. I didn’t know if he was being patronizing towards the fact Jade was well-respected due to something akin to jealousy or if it was something else entirely. But either way, I wanted to get away from him, and I certainly didn’t want ‘Mr. Floyd’ anywhere near my home.
I might not know what crimes he had supposedly committed, but I definitely wasn’t going to take any chances.
I pasted a nervous smile onto my face and pulled my arm back towards me, my motions doing nothing to break his grip as I shook my head, “Oh no. Thank you, but I’ll be fine going home on my own.”
He stared at me, almost like he was surprised by my words before he let out a harsh sounding laugh, “Nah, there are a lot of criminals out and about right now. A lil shrimpy like you might get in a world of trouble on your own.”
And just like that, he shot down my polite refusal as he stood, hauling me to my feet with him as he turned and took off down the street. All but dragging me along behind him as I stumbled along, “I’ll getcha back home safe and sound, though. But-”
He paused, his long stride coming to a stop as he suddenly tugged on my arm, pulling me up alongside him so he could grin down at me. Sharp teeth perfectly on display as I swallowed thickly, bracing myself for whatever he was about to say.
“You gotta keep it a secret from your boss, ‘Kay~?” His tone was oddly sing-songy, and I felt myself distantly nod before I immediately frowned at myself. Because I wasn’t about to agree to letting this man walk me home. Even if he had caught me wholly off-guard.
But before I could hardly object, he took off down the street, somehow knowing the exact direction to head in as I stumbled after him. But after a moment, his long-legged pace slowed so that I could keep up as he glanced down at me.
“Jade’ll be mad if he finds out I walked you home, so this’ll be our secret~” I blinked at him in utter wary confusion as he held up one long finger to his mouth and winked at me.
Because was this man, bleeding though he was, really the criminal that everyone had been gossiping about? He certainly seemed…. Odd. But despite my initial panic, he hardly seemed as horrifying as the rumors made him sound.
He was, however, still suspicious.
I felt myself distantly nod even as I eyed him warily, “Right…. But how do you know the way to my house and that I work for Jade?”
If anything, his grin spread across his face, “I remembered it. You had to put your address on your paper when you applied to be his receptionist. Remember?”
If I could have frozen in place, I would’ve, but instead the man just kept pulling me along with him as he started humming. His jaunty tune wholly at odds with my chilled thoughts.
Because his words had one painfully obvious meaning. That he’d seen the paperwork for everyone who’d applied for my job. Which meant he definitely had some sort of connection to Jade.
It appeared there really was more to Jade than I’d realized, even despite my suspicions.

Note
saw on ya main blog you wrote for carmen sandiego. a dr. saira bellum x child reader scene please with mind experiments?
I am full into Carmen Sandiego Mood lately and love the Series and its complex Characters. So i wrote a little Oneshot about our beloved Dr. Bellum and a femal child reder (platonic of course!)
Little Lucky Charm
Tumblr media
You were one of the few children on Vile Island.
Not created because someone found you, but rather brought into this world through a genetic experiment combined with dark science and the brain experiments of Dr. Saira Bellum.
A creation that should not have existed from an ethical point of view. But when you are born on Vile Island… or created like in your case, such a detail does not count.
The annoying baby phase was skipped and you saw the light of day at the age of 2, fully developed with the vocabulary of a toddler and the emotional ups and downs.
Some might say you are a little spitting image of Saira and Dash Haber. You inherited your 'mother's' bad eyesight and your father's gray hair, your eyes are blue-gray. You have a curious character but your parents taught you early on what behavior and following rules mean. At the age of 3, you are always very proud when you can help your mom with one of her experiments.
You don't understand that these are evil experiments that harm other people. For you, everything your mother does is exciting, much more exciting than the strange things that Aunt Cleo collects or the questions that Uncle Gunnar, asks you while grinning so strangely and writing something down on a pad of paper. Your mom also likes cat videos. Cats are soooo great!
That's why one of your favorite students at the Vile Academy is Tigress. She has a big cat costume and every time you run into her, you call out loudly and for everyone else to hear - big kitten - before you try to hug one of Tigress' legs. Most of the time, however, Tigress uses her acrobatic skills and her speed to get to safety from you. She's not really the person who likes children. But that doesn't bother you - you still like the big kitten. Even if she's not one of your mother's favorite students.
That would be Crackle - also known as Graham - but you don't find him half as nice as Paper Star. One of Uncle Gunnar's favorites. Which of course doesn't mean that you don't have a favorite among the male students at the academy. Even though he doesn't speak and speaks a completely different language, he understood exactly what you wanted to say with your toddler sounds and words, especially in the first few months after you were created. If you had to choose, your very best friend on the entire campus would definitely be Mime Bomb. You like him and he is currently trying to teach you his way of communicating.
You have a rather mixed relationship with your mom's other friends. After all, the last child on the island was Black Sheep - unfortunately, your paths never crossed.
You were created , after Black Sheep left the island. Countess Cleo was not good with children and once refused to look after you for a few hours at your mother's request, because Saira had to go to an international villain meeting in Seattle and the other Vile chairmen were busy and your father was on an outside mission in New Zealand. Luckily, Coach Brunt took on the task and gave you a cupcake. She is like the cool, strong aunt to you. Even if her outbursts of anger sometimes make you seek protection behind Uncle Gunnar. Similar to Cleo, Shadowsan also kept you at a distance and was always strict with you. Perhaps also because he didn't want an incident like the one with Black Sheep to happen again.
"Daddah back soon? Miss Daddah soooo much!" - you spread your arms to make it clear to Dash , in your video call via the tablet how much you miss him. It had been so many nights since you said goodnight to the moon and indirectly to Dash too, of course, and so many listening cd´s , that your mom put on for you to help you sleep while she was still working overtime in her lab and researching new inventions.
Sometimes your father didn't want you to call him that in front of the other Vile members, because it was actually just the DNA that Dash had thrown together with Saira's DNA. But you saw him as your father and didn't care if he would pull a dramatic face when Aunt Cleo made a nasty comment.
"I still have a lot to do. You will be a good girl for Dr. Bellum?" - Dash's answer sounded cold , but there was a spark of compassion in his eyes.
"Good girl, yes! Help Mommy! By by Daddah!”, you wave once into the camera as your father has to end the video call and then run out of your room with the tablet in your hand to your mother , to give the tablet back. Saira was careful not to give you too much screen time.
"There's my lucky charm! Come to Mommy, you can help me and Professor Maelstrom with an important experiment!" - with these words, your mom picked you up and you quickly dropped the tablet onto the sofa , before you automatically wrapped your arms around her neck and were curious about what kind of experiment it was.
You can help? How great! You're a good helper! A good girl to be proud of. Maybe there will be muffins or cupcakes for that later?
You were put down on a table in your mother's lab and Uncle Gunnar came into the room followed by Crackle. Crackle , was told to sit in the chair… it didn't look like a normal chair… not really like your high chair either, which you were less and less keen to get into. Was it a new chair?
“…..it won't happen again…I can get better!”, - said Crackle as the arm straps closed.
“Was Crackle naughty....bad?”, you asked curiously to Uncle Gunnar as your mom approached the now immobilized Crackle with a small device.
Gunnar stood next to you at the edge of the table, partly because you leaned forward curiously and threatened to fall down - he grabbed you and put you down on the floor….the cleaners, had enough to do, they don't have to remove blood stains from a toddler.
“Oh indeed. Crackle broke the rules and now has to face the consequences”, - said Gunnar with a devious undertone.
“Bad Crackle! Don't break rules! Time out,” - you said, making clicking noises with your tongue.
“Oh my little lucky charm, I don’t think our Crackle can make up for this rule breaking with a time out” - your mother laughed, almost in a delusional manner, and then turned to Crackle.
“It won’t hurt, you’ll just be a little dizzy… and then the happy days will follow!”
The next thing you saw was your mom putting the strange device on Crackle’s head, turning it on and then Crackle letting out a few panicked screams , before his body remained sitting on the chair, asleep and without the energy to defend itself. Apparently he had fainted.
Your mom starts to laugh evilly, Uncle Gunnar starts to laugh amusedly, so it must be something good… the evil Crackle has learned that you should follow rules… so you giggle childishly once and clap your hands several times, you adapt to the mood of the adults. Because they know what is right and what is wrong.
“That’s my girl! Just watch careful, then one day you'll be just as wonderful a scientist as your mommy!” - your mother said happily, first putting the strange device away and then picking you up again.
“Your thoughts and brain experiments are getting better . And Crackle won't remember anything?”, said Gunnar as the two were on their way to the meeting room, where the other chairmen of Vile were already waiting for them. You had now rested your head tiredly on your mother's right shoulder and your eyes half closed, you would soon be asleep.
“I guarantee that Crackle won't remember anything , that has to do with us, the island or Vile… but I will never forget my boy,” said your mom.
Half asleep, you pat your mom's left hand and the glove.
“My mommy! Me mommy's favorite”
Uncle Gunnar's amused laughter penetrates your ears like cotton wool as you get increasingly tired.
But you hear your mom's answer and loving words very clearly before you slip into a gentle sleep.
"Of course you are mommy's favorite, my favorite girl…my favorite lucky charm. Forever"
THE END

Imagine: Dr. Strange does the spell on Peter and makes everyone forget who Peter is or was.
ALL FROM PETER’S POV
Peter Parker x Platonic!Romantic!Reader
(You can decide if the relationship between Peter is platonic or romantic.)
Tumblr media
“(Y/N)? (Y/N)!” I exclaimed, as I ran up the stairs to their apartment building and banged on the door.
“Can I help you?”
“Mrs. (L/N)?”
“Yes, that’s me..?” (Y/N)’s mother said with a questionable tone and folded her arms as she looked at me.
“Where’s (Y/N)? Are they here?”
“Yes..? Come in.” She said hesitantly, before telling (Y/N) to come out of their room.
“Give them a few minutes.” I nod in understanding, standing in the living room, rocking back and forth on the balls of my feet.
“I’m sorry, how do you know.. my child?”
“I..um.. it’s a bit of a long story.” I said, wiping my clammy palms on the sides of my clothes.
“Yeah, mom?” They asked coming out of their room. “Who’s this?”
“I thought he was your friend or classmate from school.”
“No, I’ve never seen him in my life.”
“But he knew your name.” Their mom said and (Y/N) turned to me with furrowed brows.
“How do you know my name? I don’t even know you.”
“I’m Peter Parker. You don’t remember me? Or know me? Like at all?”
“I don’t, I would remember someone with a name like that.” They admitted and I felt my heart sink.
I knew what I was in for, when I told Mr. Strange to cast that spell on me, but I kind of hoped.
I hoped that even they would remember who I was. I think.. No, I know I made the right decision..
I just don’t think I was ready to face the consequences..
“Excuse me? Uh, Peter was it?”
“Oh, I’m sorry. I have to go, something came up. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience.” I said, and rushed out of the house.
I put on my suit and climbed all the way up to one of the many buildings in NYC, and sat there.
I took off my mask and felt my tears fall down to my chin.
Letting Strange’s words play around in my head, like a broken record.
“But you have got to understand that would mean everyone, who knows and loves you—we would have no memory of you. It would be as though you would have never existed.”
“I know.. Do it.”

Being the exact same or polar opposites mostly (for the sake of this I’m saying you guys are similar)
Either route, the sarcasm levels are through the roof
The most autistic turtles in the lair
Feelings? Hot, Cold, Hungry, Tired.
Dr Feelings is your guys’ worst enemy
Constantly trying to out-do each other
It becomes a running gag
Stimming
Picking up on each others stims
Now you also scratch your arms when nervous
Laughing at the completely wrong times (autism W, I do this too)
Refusing to admit you feel emotions
“Are you crying?”
“Maybe you should look at yourself.”
*Cue touching your face, only to be met with strangely wet cheeks.*
Info dumping to each-other
Stuck as the middle children ™️
Carrying stim toys in pockets
Or forcing Leo to carry them in his pouch
He probably already carries them anyway tbh
Being picky eaters
The textures dude mushy food can go burn in hell
Sharing the weighted blanket on movie nights
Thank god it’s big enough for both of you
You had a smaller one, but Raph got tired of you guys arguing over who got it every movie night
So he got a bigger one
Thanks Raphie <3

MCU cast X Male Reader
Request - Hi hope your doing good, I wanted to ask for a MCU cast X Male Reader platonic please R and Tom Holland are in an interview and they watch a blooper with them having a staredown but forget their lines so they lean in a kiss (this was before Tom and Zendaya was dating) and R says that's his first kiss with a guy and within the top 10 gayest things his done and a few weeks later the NWH cast react to fanart and some fanfiction of R and Tom's characters dating and during the interview R is like "I kissed Tom before you Zendaya"
Tumblr media
You and the cast of No Way home are on The Tonight Show, and you and Tom have to talk about the movie. You took a selfie with Zendaya and Tom, everyone posted it online.
“Y/n, how does it feel to be in Spider-Man: No Way Home movie?” Jimmy asked.
“I feel excited and I can't wait for everyone to see the character I will play” You smiled.
“Is it true, you and Tom met before making the movie?” Jimmy asked.
“Yes, it's true. We both went for an audition for the same role in the movie Spies in Disguise. We are getting along, waiting for us to be called and we tried to copy each other’s accents. And I sent him a message teasing him that I got the role” Tom said.
“He is very rude and mean,” You said.
Everyone starts to laugh and you are smiling.
“They are always like this. Sometimes they can act like kids” Andrew said.
“Then Benedict would act like the dad and tell them to stop,” Zendaya said.
“Ever since that day, he makes fun of me for not getting the role I would try out for,” You said.
“Sometimes, Y/n would try on my spiderman mask and send me selfies,” Tom said.
Jimmy starts to laugh.
“I think we have pictures of that” Jimmy smiled.
You have the mask on and you try to eat a hot dog, in the next picture you pretend to brush your hair, and in the last picture you have the Dr strange cape on and Benedict is behind you glaring at you.
“He likes to get into it stuff after I tell him not to do it,” Benedict said.
“He does have cool stuff,” You said.
“Such a dork” Andrew laughed.
Now Jimmy is showing bloopers of the whole cast. Jimmy and the audience are laughing at the video.
“Apparently, this part everyone is talking about but we will show it,” Jimmy said.
In the video... Tom made you laugh and you forgot your lines and he forgot too. You and Tom have a stare-down, then you and Tom leaned and kissed each other on the lips.
“What just happened at that moment,” Jimny said.
“We had to do a scene. Y/n made me laugh, then for some reason, we just stared at each other, and we kissed” Tom said.
“That was one of the top ten gayest things, I've ever done,” You said.
The whole cast is staring at you right now.
“What other stuff have you done, Y/n?” Tobey asked.
“We all want to know,” Andrew said.
“Time for a commercial break, Jimmy!” You said.
Jimmy starts to laugh so hard, that his face is turning red.
The next day, many fans reacted to the video of you and Tom. You got more followers on Instagram then days later, you and Tom did a Q&A on Instagram.
✬ ✯ ✯ ✫
You and the cast are at comic con. You are on stage with them answering questions from fans. Some of the fans showed you and Tom fan art and fanfic of Peter Parker and your character.
“My character won't be dating anyone in the movie. I will appear in some scenes” You said.
“How does it feel that you kissed Y/n,” A fan asked Tom.
Before Tom answered and you answered.
“I kissed Tom before you Zendaya," You said.
Everyone starts to laugh and Zendaya playfully smacked your arm. Everyone did laugh
“That hurts,” You said and start to rub your arm.
You and Zendaya started to laugh.
“You play too much” Zendaya laughed.
You and the cast continued to answer more questions. Later, you take pictures with fans along with Tom. Many will tell you and Tom, how they like the characters together.
-----
You are with the cast in London for the movie premiere. You pose with the cast and the paparazzi start to take the pictures. Now you start to answer questions
“Y/n, can you tell us anything about your character?” The host asked.
“I can't say anything, I don't want to get in trouble like how Tom spoiled the movie years ago,” You said.
“Wow, Y/n why do you have to bring that up” Tom laughed.
“Tom do you want to work with Y/n again? You two seem close” The host asked.
“Oh, I hope I can work with Y/n in a comedy movie now that will be interesting,” Tom said.
Later, Tom posted a picture of you sleeping in your chair on set. Tom wrote a caption and everyone started to like it...
Tomholland2013 - Y/n drools when he is sleeping 😴
Zendaya told you about it by text and you started to laugh.

Tumblr media
Normality was something people were used to seeing, most people were what the rest of society would consider ‘normal’.
Those who were considered ‘abnormal’ were mutants; humans who underwent a strange mutation that gave them the X-gene. Many viewed them as dangerous, evil even, many kidnapped and would experiment on them.
Unfortunately for you, you were a mutant, and to make it worse, one who was being experimented on and exploited.
Thankfully there were a group of people who were supposed to help and save these mutants, these people were the X-men. Today was your lucky day, today was the day you’d be saved, if only you knew that.
“Transfer 26 back to their cell,” an unknown guard said to your handler. Your eyes were trained to the ground, you knew talking would only cause punishment.
You’d been here for almost a year, your powers had devolved recently and you were quickly taken away.
The power of protection, or so that’s what most of the lab workers said. You had to power to conjure force fields around you as well as others or other objects, but you weren’t able to hold it for long; another perk of the power was you could conjure half shields, something you’d be able to use if you ever needed to protect only the front part of your body.
The walk back to your cell was taking its toll on your body, the constant pain and pressure you were put through finally attacking at you. Your wrists and neck itchy from whatever metal was around it, suppressing your powers.
Finally you tilted your head up, noticing the lack of mutants in the cells as you walked, you believed you were the last one left, the others dying from neglect or refusal to cooperate.
Before being able to be put into your cell, a loud ringing began to blaring over the compound, red lights flashed and everything shut down.
That’s when you saw him, The Fucking Wolverine.
His claws looked as if they were glistening against the contrast of the red, you watched as he began to take down many of the guards, each one down by the second. Your handler grabbed his smaller pistol; hidden within his lab coat for moments like this, but instead of aiming it at the beast in front of him, he grabbed you by your shirt.
He held the gun against your temple, the cold metal making a shiver go down your spine.
“Let the kid go,” You could hear Wolverines voice, it was stern but you could tell he was pissed; his jaw was clenched and his fist got tighter, his claws covered in blood, as was the floor.
It was almost as if luck had decided to visit you for the first time in years, because suddenly, everything shut down, the power was gone. The item suppressing your powers had just fallen down. The metal clinking against the floor.
This was your chance.
Quickly you summoned a shield around yourself, hearing a gun go off by your ear; but instead of a thump of a body hitting the floor, all that was heard was the sound of a bullet hitting the ground.
This was when Wolverine took the chance the strike, killing the man in an instant.
The man turned back to you, his face held not much emotion, maybe a hint of pity.
You weren’t able to say much, before you knew it you had passed out, perhaps the exhaustion from earlier finally caught up to you.
You slowly began to wake up, the room was the bright, it looked like a doctor’s office. You looked down, your white prison like clothes not replaced with a gown.
A taller woman entered the room, she noticed your eyes had opened, she gave you a warm smile and introduced herself as Dr Jean Grey, quickly excusing herself to go get the rest of the faculty.
Each person had said their hellos and such, besides two, the man in the wheel chair and Wolverine. The man in front of you began to talk but his mouth wasn’t moving, it was strange but he let himself explain before carrying on.
“Hello there dear,” the voice echoed in your mind, “I am Charles Xavier, I’m currently speaking to you through your mind if you haven’t noticed,” he looked at you for acknowledgment before continuing, “I’ve been looking for you for quite some time now, you’re currently at my school for gifted children, a place for mutant kids to learn about their abilities away from those who fear them, I’m here to offer you a place to stay.”
Charles looked at you, a warm smile on his face. He hoped you take him up on his offer, “I’d like that a lot,” you replied in your mind, assuming he’d be able to hear you as well. This was confirmed when he nodded at you and slowly left the room, but not before saying something you couldn’t hear to whoever was left in the room.
You looked at the man who’d saved you, his arms were crossed and he stood tall before you, “Listen kid, since you’re staying I’ll be helping you out a bit around here to you get used to it,” he said looking at your bruised arms, “I’m sure Charles told you what this place is and what not,”
But before he could say anything else you cut him off, “You’re name,” was all you could mutter before he finished his sentence.
“What?” He asked, confused by what you meant.
“What’s you’re name”
“Logan, I’ll be your history teacher and combat instructor,”
You blinked, confused before understanding he was probably a teacher here.
“Y/N, I’m Y/N,” you looked at the man, seeing if he’d say anything else, “Where will I stay?” You asked him.
“We have dorms, I’ll show you to yours right now, it’ll give you time to change and explore the place,”
“Hm alright, thank you”
“Don’t mention it kid,”
Logan showed you your room, it was ten times bigger than cage they held you in. Their first thing you did when Logan finally left was shower, once you exited you saw some clothes on the bed, with a note from another teacher here who you knew as Ororo or Storm.
Quickly you changed into the clothes, wanting to see the place.
When you left the room you noticed the hallway with a bunch of other doors, many rooms were empty; there was still lots of room for new mutants to make this their home too.
Slowly you made your way to the main hall, there were many other kids your age, each one with a special ability of some sort, you saw one kid with ice, another going through walls.
You started to make your way outside next, seeing more kids playing. Suddenly you hear someone yell.
“Watch out!” You put out your hands, a shield forming around the front of your figure. The kids who threw what seemed to be a football all cheered, before asking you to throw it back to them, which you hesitantly did.
You turned back around ready to head inside when someone stopped you.
“Didn’t think I’d get to see you use your power again so soon kid,” Logan was now at your side, walking you to the door.
“Would you rather I get a football to the head?” You smiled at him, a playful tug at your lips.
“So what do you think of the place?” He asked you, slightly eyeing your figure, trying to see if you felt comfortable yet.
“It’s big,” he smirked at your words, big was an understatement in his opinion. Then a sigh left you, “I feels like too much for me to take in, I can’t believe this isn’t a dream,”
Logan stopped walking, this causing you to stop too and look at him; he put his hand on your shoulder and looking you into your eyes, “Trust me, it feels like that at first but I promise you’re safe here now, if ever need someone you can always come find one of us, got it bub?”
“I got it Logan,” You gave him a warm smile, and you felt yourself feel somewhat better. The two of you began to walk back inside, you felt safer knowing you had someone in your corner now.
“Do you guys have Oreos here?”
“I can get you some.”

(Please pardon me for the paragraph my brain feels the need to explain too many details whenever I say something, just so people will hopefully understand it.) Salutations good author! I’ve never requested anything before, because I am utterly terrified of doing so! But alas, I’ve found a lack of recent publishings in the type of fanfics I enjoy reading.. so I thought I might as well try and request something at least once.
I personally like platonic relationships more than romantic ones. so I was wondering if I could possibly request for a platonic thing with a teen!reader who is an assistant to Aventurine, and has a somewhat similar past to his. (I love duos where they basically have the same trauma but also extremely different personalities.)
Aka silly gambler man gets a quiet and brutally honest kid who sorta hates people thrown into his hands by whoever in the IPC found them first and somehow ends up accidentally adopting them.
Also if you can could you add Ratio and Sunday too? (Why Sunday? I have NO clue! ;D Just blame it on my brain focusing on these three for some reason.)
Fateful Bonds
Summary: You find yourself assigned as Aventurine's assistant, thrown into the chaotic world of strategy, manipulation, and high-stakes gambles. With a past shaped by trauma similar to Aventurine’s, you struggle to adapt to your new life. Despite your differences—Aventurine’s flamboyance and your quiet, brutally honest nature—an unspoken bond begins to form. When Dr. Ratio and Sunday enter the picture, tensions rise as their conflicting personalities challenge the new "family" dynamic, unexpected connections, unhealed wounds, and the strange ways in which people find solace in the most unlikely places.

The soft rustle of papers filled the sleek, pristine office of Aventurine, the air charged with an almost electric tension. The sharp tap of a pen against the desk was the only sound in the otherwise quiet room, save for the occasional distant murmur of the IPC’s inner workings. Sitting across from Aventurine was a teen—quiet, eyes sharp but closed off, drumming their fingers on the edge of the table. They were still getting used to the rhythmic unpredictability of the world they’d been thrust into.
“You’ve been at that for a while now,” Aventurine said, his voice smooth, carrying the kind of charm that would’ve made most people smile. But for some reason, it always seemed to land on you like a stone.
You didn’t answer, keeping your gaze down, eyes fixed on a single spot on the desk. You could feel his eyes on you, waiting for a reaction, but you weren’t giving him the satisfaction of a response. He might be the “strategic genius” of the IPC, but you weren’t in the mood to play his games today. Not when you had your own demons to face.
Your past wasn’t something you wore openly, but if anyone understood the weight of scars, it was Aventurine. His presence in the room made you feel something... complicated. He was everything you weren’t: confident, flamboyant, a master manipulator. You, on the other hand, preferred silence, honesty, and the disarming simplicity of doing things the right way. It wasn’t like you’d been given a choice about your current circumstances—what better place to throw a kid with no family or home than in the hands of one of the IPC’s most notorious operatives?
Aventurine let out a soft chuckle, leaning back in his chair, fingers steepled under his chin as he studied you with those unnerving eyes. “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re doing,” he said lightly, as if they were the simplest words in the world. “It’s your way of avoiding the conversation.”
Your lips twitched upward at the corners, but it wasn’t a smile. He was right, and you couldn’t help but find it amusing. You might hate people, but the one thing you’d never been able to do was hide your thoughts from someone as sharp as him. But then again, was he really any different from you? Both of you had been broken by a past you didn’t choose, forced to live in a world that expected things from you that you weren’t ready to give.
“I’m not avoiding anything,” you muttered, voice low but surprisingly steady. “Just... trying to understand why I'm still here.”
Aventurine’s smirk flickered, as if he saw something in your words that wasn’t so easily dismissed. “Ah, the classic question. Why are we still here, indeed?”
Before you could say anything else, the door to the office clicked open, and in walked Dr. Ratio—wavy hair falling over one eye and a confidence that could drown anyone in its wake. His eyes immediately scanned the room, settling on you with a cold indifference.
“Is the child still... sulking?” Ratio’s voice cut through the air with a sharpness that could make glass crack. He had this way of speaking that made you feel like you were constantly being analyzed. “I thought we’d gotten past this phase already. It’s rather unbecoming of a... ‘strategic assistant,’ don’t you think?”
You bristled, a small spark of annoyance flickering in your chest. “I’m not here to impress you,” you snapped, without thinking, feeling the sting of your own words. The kind of honesty you didn’t care to hide often got you into trouble.
Aventurine chuckled again, this time louder, as if he found the entire situation amusing. “Dr. Ratio, always so direct, aren’t we?”
Ratio’s eyes narrowed slightly, an unreadable expression passing over his face as he took a step closer. “I prefer clarity over vagueness. It makes people... more predictable.”
The door clicked open again, but this time, it was someone else—someone you knew, but didn’t really expect to see. Sunday.
Sunday, the leader of the Oak Family. His calm, calculated demeanor was in stark contrast to the chaos of the two men in the room. His eyes shimmered as he took in the scene, his angelic wings giving him an air of calm authority. But behind those eyes, you knew there was something else—something darker that he kept hidden, carefully veiled under layers of control.
“I see we’re all here for a little chat,” Sunday remarked, his voice smooth like honey. But there was an underlying tension in the way his gaze lingered on you. It wasn’t pity, no—it was something far colder.
Aventurine gestured lazily to the seat next to you. “Join the club. We’re discussing just how out of place our dear assistant feels.”
Sunday’s eyes flicked to you before settling back on Aventurine. “I assume they’ve adjusted to your ‘methods’ by now?”
“Adjusted?” Aventurine repeated, raising an eyebrow. “They’ve hardly had the time to even process the fact that they’re now under my care. And if you’d kindly stop hovering over them like an angel on a mission, maybe we could actually get somewhere.”
You snorted under your breath, a bitter laugh escaping your lips despite yourself. “Like that’s gonna happen. If anything, I’d say I’m the one trying to figure out why I’m here. It’s not like I’m much of an assistant, anyway.”
Sunday’s eyes flickered to you, the tiniest glint of amusement flashing across his face, but it was gone in an instant. “Perhaps... it’s not about what you can do yet. Perhaps you’re here because you were needed.”
“Needed?” You couldn’t help but laugh again, though it was hollow this time. “I think it’s more likely that I’m just another tool for someone’s game.”
Aventurine leaned forward, his eyes glinting. “You’ll come around. After all, we’re cut from the same cloth, aren’t we? Trauma and all.”
The words hung in the air, heavy with meaning. You felt a strange connection to him in that moment, a fleeting understanding that neither of you was really here by choice. But your paths had diverged long ago—he, a man who had embraced the gamble of life; you, someone who hated the chaos of it all but couldn’t escape it.
Sunday’s voice was quieter now, but still carrying the weight of authority. “Perhaps... but the truth is, no one’s an island. Not even someone as solitary as you, Mr. Aventurine.”
Aventurine’s smile faltered for just a second before it was back, sharp as ever. “You’ve got a point there. Maybe I’m not alone in this after all.”
The room fell into an unusual silence, and for once, the strange trio didn’t feel like a collection of mismatched pieces. In a way, maybe this was what you needed—a bizarre kind of family, one you never expected.
It was a strange thing to say, but you felt, just for a moment, like you belonged. Even in this mess of unspoken pain and strange companionship.
And for a fleeting second, that was enough.

can I request something for doctor strange pls? It's not romantic, it's just platonic)
So, the imagine would have two scenes, and there's years gap between the scenes. So, in the first, fem!reader is a kid (eleven or twelve) and she's in the same store as stephen. He's still a doctor in this one, so he's in his arrogant era. She's in the cashier trying to buy a box with special crayons but it's more expensive that she thought, so stephen buys it for her (he's rich, it's not a big deal for him.) but he's not all smiles kindness when she thanks him, and says he only did that so she could get out of the line and let him pay for his stuff, a detail she will remember for a long time.
In the second scene, they get to reunite when peter needs to ask him for a favor and brings his friend (now in her late teen years) reader. They recognize each other immediatly, and while reader says (when they have privacy from peter for a bit) she still has those crayons and tells him she will go to art college, stephen feels a little akward because he recognizes he could have been nicer by that time.

———————————————————-
The bustling sound of the store filled the air as eleven-year-old Y/N stood at the cashier, clutching a box of special crayons. Your eyes sparkled with excitement, but your face fell when you saw the total on the register. You fumbled through your small purse that you got for your birthday, your fingers counting the coins you had carefully saved up.
“I-I’m sorry, I don’t have enough,” you mumbled, your cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
Behind you, a tall man in an expensive suit sighed impatiently. His sharp, authoritative demeanor made him stand out, and his frustration was palpable as he checked his watch repeatedly. This was Dr. Stephen Strange, renowned surgeon, known as much for his arrogance as his skill.
The cashier, a kind elderly woman, smiled sympathetically at you. “Maybe you can come back another time, dear.”
Your heart sank. You had been looking forward to these crayons for weeks. As you turned to leave, Dr. Strange stepped forward, pulling out his sleek, black wallet. “How much is it?” he asked brusquely.
The cashier told him the amount, and with a roll of his eyes, Strange handed over the money. “Here. Just get out of the way,” he said, his tone lacking any warmth.
Your eyes widened in surprise. “Thank you, sir!” You said earnestly, your gratitude shining through despite his cold demeanor and the small feeling of hurt and saddness in your chest.
“Yeah, yeah,” Strange muttered, waving his hand dismissively. “Just move, kid, so I can pay for my stuff.”
You quickly moved aside, clutching your prized crayons to your chest. You glanced back at Strange, his face a mask of indifference, and felt a mix of awe and confusion. Despite his harsh words, he had done something kind for you, a detail you would remember for a long time.
As Strange paid for his items, your mind was abuzz with thoughts. You wondered why someone so seemingly cold and arrogant would help you. With one last look at him, you exited the store, the special crayons in hand and hurried home to tell your mom, unaware that this fleeting encounter would stay with you for years to come.
———
The Sanctum Sanctorum was a place of mystique and wonder, filled with artifacts from across the dimensions. Peter Parker, the young and energetic Spider-Man, had come seeking help from Stephen Strange. Beside him was his friend, Y/N, now in her late teens. You looked around the grandiose building with wide eyes, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement.
“Whoa, this place is incredible,” Peter whispered to you as you both walked through the echoing halls.
“Yeah, it’s… it’s something,” you replied, your thoughts drifting to the last time you had seen Strange. You wondered if he would remember you after all these years.
As you and Peter approached the main room, Strange appeared, his cape billowing slightly as he moved. His face, though older and marked by the experiences of a sorcerer, still bore that same authoritative expression.
“Peter” Strange greeted, his tone both curious and wary. “To what do I owe this pleasure?”
“Sir, I’m so sorry for wasting your time, but we need your help,” Peter began, launching into an explanation about the recent chaos involving the multiverse. You stood quietly by his side, studying Strange’s face, searching for any sign of recognition.
Strange listened intently, his eyes occasionally flicking to you. There was something familiar about you, a spark of memory that tugged at the edges of his mind. As Peter finished, Strange nodded, turning his attention fully to you.
“And you are, young lady?” he asked, his voice softer than Peter expected.
“I’m Y/N,” you said, offering a small smile. “We… we’ve actually met before, a long time ago.”
Strange’s brows furrowed in thought. “Met before?” he repeated, scanning your face. Suddenly, a memory from years past surfaced – a little girl at a store, struggling to buy a box of crayons. His eyes widened slightly. “The crayons,” he murmured.
Your smile grew. “Yes, the crayons. You bought them for me when I didn’t have enough money.”
Peter looked between you two, confused. “Wait, you guys know each other?”
You nodded. “Sort of. He hepled me out in a shop”
Strange cleared his throat, feeling a rare moment of awkwardness. “Right, I remember now. That was… quite some time ago.”
Peter was sent off on a task by Strange, and the Sorcerer Supreme led you to a quieter room. “I must admit,” Strange said, “I didn’t expect to see you again. How have you been?”
“I’ve been good,” you replied, your voice warm. “Actually, I still have those crayons. They meant a lot to me, more than you probably realized.”
Strange felt a pang of guilt and awkwardness. “I’m glad to hear that. I could have been… nicer, back then.”
You chuckled softly. “You were in a hurry, I get it. But that small act of kindness made a big difference to me. It inspired me, in a way.”
“Inspired you?” Strange echoed, genuinely curious.
“Yeah. I’m going to art college now,” you said, your eyes shining with excitement. “I’ve always loved drawing, and those crayons… they were the start of it all.”
Strange felt a rare smile tug at his lips. “That’s wonderful to hear. I’m sorry if I came off as rude back then. I’ve learned a lot since those days.”
You nodded. “It’s okay. We all have our moments. I’m just glad I got to thank you properly.”
As you continued to talk, Strange felt an unexpected warmth. It was rare for him to reflect on his past, especially the time before he became a sorcerer. Your presence was a reminder of his humanity, a link to a simpler time.
Peter returned, and Strange turned his attention back to the task at hand, but now with a renewed sense of purpose. The encounter with you had shifted something within him, reminding him that even the smallest acts of kindness could leave a lasting impact. As you prepared to face the challenges ahead, Strange couldn’t help but feel a sense of fatherly connection to the young woman who had grown into an inspiring artist, all because of a box of crayons and a brief moment of generosity.

Revamped Rewrite of "Atychiphobia , 007" - previously :
Eddie / Steve x platonic!experiment!reader.
( i’m back freakazoids 😄😄😄)
You were born in Chicago, Illinois in 1971, living an ordinary life until strange things began to happen around you. Every time you were upset, objects would burst into flames or fly across the room. Your parents, overwhelmed and out of answers after countless calls, doctor’s appointments, (and even a few visits to your local church if you know what I mean,) you were finally referred to a man named Dr. Brenner. Promising to “help,” Brenner quickly took you in.
So now, at just three years old, you found yourself under Hawkins National Laboratory’s cold lights, meeting others like you—El, (008), a friendly orderly named Peter, and
By 1983, you’d been there a grating ten years. That was also the year you and Eleven made your escape. The outside world was chaotic and overwhelming after so long inside, and soon after fleeing together, you lost each other in the forest.
Days passed, and you were exhausted, hungry, and bruised from wandering through the unfamiliar terrain. Just when you were about to give up, a strange sound cut through the trees. It was unlike anything you’d ever heard. Hypnotized, you followed the sound until you stumbled upon the edge of a trailer park.
The noise grew louder, drawing you to a boy sitting alone on a picnic table, holding a strange object in his hands—a guitar. He couldn’t have been much older than you, but his hair was wild, and his fingers plucked at the guitar strings with a confidence that made the world feel brighter for a moment.
Eddie Munson, sixteen and ever the rebel, had no plans to play quietly. When he heard footsteps, he half-expected a neighbor (probably Mrs. Nolan) coming to yell at him. Instead, he looked up to find a kid in a hospital gown, bare feet covered in dirt and a wide-eyed stare.
“Uh… hi?” he managed.
You just blinked, eyeing the guitar with both fascination and fear.
As Eddie got off the table, you tensed. Eddie noticed your flinch, the dried blood under your nose, and the cuts on your legs, reminding him of the recent news about missing kids. This wasn’t some prank—something had happened to you.
“Hey, it’s okay,” he said, putting his hands up. “Are you hurt? Do you need help?”
You took a step back, every instinct urging you to run. But then something howled in the distance, freezing you in place. Eddie noticed your fear and softened his tone even more.
“Let’s get inside, alright? I don’t want anyone calling the cops on us. Trust me, they’re not as helpful as you’d think.”
Inside, Eddie gave you a Van Halen shirt and some sweatpants. When you tried changing right there, he quickly stopped you, face red. “Whoa—don’t do that! I mean, not in front of guys you don’t know, okay?” You nodded, a little confused, as he explained and left the room.
When you finally emerged, Eddie set a slice of cold pizza in front of you and tried to get you talking. “Ever had pizza before?”
You shook your head and took a cautious bite, which Eddie watched, amazed as you practically inhaled the slice. After a while, he asked, “So… my name’s Eddie. What’s yours?”
You pointed at your wrist, showing the number tattooed there. “007.”
“Like… James Bond?” He joked, but your blank stare told him you didn’t know what he was talking about. When you pointed at yourself and repeated, “Me,” Eddie got the hint and softened.
“Well, we can work with that. Maybe we call you ‘Seven’ or ‘Van’—you know, like Van Halen! Or maybe ‘Ozzy’?” You nodded, and Eddie laughed, feeling like he was finally getting somewhere.
The next morning, Eddie woke up to find you sitting on the floor, plucking at his guitar’s strings. Normally, he’d have a meltdown seeing anyone handle his guitar, but he could tell you didn’t know any better. When he asked if you liked it, you quickly dropped the guitar and apologized.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Eddie reassured, showing you how to hold it and strum without snapping the strings. You asked him to play “the one from last night,” so he played Black Sabbath’s *Children of the Grave*, the song that had drawn you to him.
Eddie spent the next few days teaching you guitar basics and introducing you to all his favorite bands. You especially liked Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne’s wild stories, and you loved when he’d crank up the music and start dancing around. “This is *metal*,” he said, grinning as he showed you the classic devil horns hand gesture.
You copied him, saying, “Metal!” which made Eddie laugh, thrilled that you were opening up. He even took you to Main Street once, disguising you with a baseball cap and oversized sunglasses.
But things changed when his uncle, Wayne, came home early. He wasn’t thrilled to find Eddie skipping school, even less thrilled to find a strange girl in his clothes, sitting at the table and listening to him explain D&D.
“Hey, Ed, can we talk?”
Wayne pulled Eddie into the other room, leaving you nervously listening as their voices rose. Eddie tried to explain, but his uncle didn’t want to hear it.
“If something’s wrong, you call the police. What if they think you kidnapped her, Eddie?”
“No way! She’s a kid—she *needed* help!”
The argument kept escalating until Wayne threw his hands up in frustration. You reacted instinctively, raising your hand and sending him flying into the wall. When the dust settled, Eddie was staring at you, stunned, and Wayne was slumped against the wall, wide-eyed.
“I didn’t mean to—I thought he was going to hurt you! I’m sorry!” you shouted, panicking. Before either of them could say anything, you ran out of the trailer, vanishing into the night.
Days passed with no sign of you. Eddie searched everywhere after school, but it was like you’d disappeared. He would’ve thought he’d imagined the whole thing if not for the dent in the wall and the silence hanging over the house since you left.
Two weeks later, Eddie was in his room retuning his guitar when Wayne knocked on the door.
“Hey Ed, i’m about to head out , try not to stay up too late, alright?”
See, Wayne had been informed my Mrs. Nolan, one early afternoon when he arrived back home, that after he would leave for work at night, his nephew would leave the trailer before trailing into the woods for hours at a time. sometimes not until the early hours of the morning.
Which lead to another argument between the two munson men. Shouts of "she's a nosy bitch, who should worry about what her husband does at night instead of my shit!" and "Watch your mouth! If she wasn't watching, what would i do if you went missing too, one night, huh?!"
After that Eddie stopped going out at night, and he also didn't talk much, unless spoken to by Wayne first.
“Okay. Have a good night.” Eddie said monotonously, not looking up from his guitar.
“Oh! and uh, I ran into Garrett from the photo shop. Said these were yours.”
Wayne tossed him a manila envelope, before taking his leave. After a few minutes of back and forth glances at the thing, he finally picked it up out if curiosity.
Inside was a single photo: you and Eddie at the general store, doing the metal sign with your tongues out, smiling.
Eddie’s eyes widened in shock, his breath stuttering a bit. He had proof now—not to show anyone, but proof that you were real, that he hadn’t imagined his “coolest kid ever.” He quickly scribbled “Eddie & Van, Nov. 1983” on the back of the picture and pinned it next to his guitar.
He didn’t know if he’d ever see you again, but at least now he’d have a memory.
It would be three more years before you crossed paths again.
But that’s a story for another time.
