At the same time, Breeze the Cat takes interest in the brown hedgehog. Why is he powerless? Who's Breeze? Why are there reports of people losing their powers?

All the Immortal Creatures: A Blazamy fic about Amy staying over at Blaze's dimension thanks to a strange being that's apparently Blaze's uncle called Telos. He senses something strange in Sonic's world but that has nothing to do with the girls.

Ace Attorney Amy Rose: An Ace Attorney au where Amy is a newbie defense attorney, with Surge and Lanolin as prosecution and Blaze as another defense attorney. Her mentor is Vanilla. There's no fic, only the summary.

Tomophobia: Fic based on a dream that before he created Surge and Kit, Starline turned Amy Rose into a cyborg, erased her memory of it and thus went unnoticed by anyone.

Sonic Underground Odyssey: A version of Sonic Underground that happens after Frontiers instead of incorporating it into Sonic's backstory with the adaptations I felt necessary to suit it.

Metal Hero AU: Sonic the Hedgehog has always been a helpful little robot that saves the world from his creator, Dr. Eggman. aka, Metal Sonic is the hero, and called Sonic the Hedgehog.

An Early Shadow: Shadow escapes prison island sooner than he's supposed to, and winds up meeting a really resentful fox in West Side Island. Almost everything is different from that point on.

Lies of Ann: A Shadow Android wakes up, with no memories at all, not even of the name "Shadow", taking the name Ann instead. Ann, with the voice of Rouge the Bat through the speakers, escapes a rundown Eggman base to the surface.

Silver Prime: When everyone in the future disappears, Silver travels to the past with a Time Stone he found outside of Little Planet and finds himself in the middle of a multi-timeline catastrophe.

Don't Escape: A Metamy fic about Amy being kidnapped by Neo Metal Sonic and being given near total control of its army, and getting caught up on "holding it back" from the inside. Takes place in the first IDW arc. Progresses into Villain!Amy

I see your tags, and I wouldn’t say that’s out of character for Grem. Grem would probably say “shit, gotta go” before he hung up, but that’s not really a problem to me. I can see him being too startled to actually say anything too, so you don’t need to worry about that!

And Grems not exactly great at cleaning up, and they have a tendency to leave problems to be dealt with later (cough cough several injuries cough), but I think he’d at least put away any sharp objects or toxic chemicals that cats can get at before he heads to lunch.

They didn’t expect to come back to Nikolai sobbing with the two cats around him, though.

After the whole thing with clearing up what happened, Grem would feel really bad about making Nikolai cry like that. He’d probably apologize again that evening, and try to make it up to him at some point.

Imagine an AU where Nikolai is a normal man and Grem is his pet cat.

That very likely would be the AU, were Nikolai lives the life of a hermit/recluse, working alone at an remote research station up in the north, at one point he found an injured Norwegian forest cat who he nursed back to health and named Grem (@pan-fried-autism), he, honestly does not know how he came up with the name, but he thought it was fitting for them.

This reminds me of the idea, that Nikolai gets a call from Grem, who tells him, they and Peng (@northerngrail) are right now working on an experiment, when suddenly Nikolai hears a loud crash and the telephone connection is lost, so of course, worried he goes as fast as he can were Grem and Peng were testing the experiment.

When he arrives he discovers the chaos, and, two feral cats, with Nikolai believing this to be Grem and Peng who because of some experiment, got turned into, well, into a smaller, feral form, with both cats having the same color pattern as Grem and Peng

Of course Nikolai is in panic and does not know what to do, but for now, takes care of both cats, trying to be there for them as good as possible.

Although at one point Nikolai would admit, that, he isn't sure if he can do it, they are his friends, and he cares for them both a lot, but, he just doesn't know if he would be a good caretaker for them and starts to wonder if he really is capable to reverse the effects of whatever experiment they did, which causes Nikolai to sob.

Just in that moment Grem and Peng appear, who where out for lunch, finding Nikolai with the two feral cats.

As it turns out, the two cat scientists, were simply working on a test in, changing animals fur color, a harmless test and so they used two feral cats for it, giving them, their fur patterns, however, at one point one of the cats accidentally caused the machine to crash and Grem hang up suddenly because of it.

Neither of the two were interested to clean up the mess right now, and decided to head out for lunch.

Honestly, I believe both of them would apologies to Nikolai, for accidentally causing Nikolai to worry, giving him a hug, who is still sobbing but more out of relieve, that Grem and Peng are alright.
