Some Chaotic Four headcanons for you, food edition

Jenkins doesn't look like it but he has an iron stomach. He can consume the spiciest foods and not have any stomach troubles afterwards. Joe is the one of the few who could handle Jenkins spicy food.

Patricia like Victor has a very sweet tooth. Victor and her would often have little fights about candy and other confections. She loves pure sugary types of candy. Caramel being her favorite.

Hugh can't handle spicy or sweet foods. He prefers making his own version of the meals he had back at home. It makes him less homesick. The only one who can eat his food with ease is Alan. It's been described as squishy and crunchy at the same time in the worse of ways.

Archie built up a tolerance to spicy food due to living with Jenkins for years. He's the other one whose able to handle it. He hates everything that has cinnamon in it. He can't stand mints of any kind.

I love these food headcanons. Aww, Alan being a good boyfriend.

I love Kiryu!! She’s definitely one of my favorite researchers and I have a few headcanons I’m just gonna share down here LMAOO:

- Kiryu and King are best friends and hang out pretty often even though they work in completely different parts of the facility (king being agriculture and Kiryu being Med bay)

-Mann knits her cardigans and stuff for her birthdays and christmases because he noticed she wears them a lot

-she looks up to Rights a lot and enjoys spending time with her and getting put as a junior researcher on her assignments

-she considers Draven like a brother to her and they spend a lot of time together outside of work

-she is wickedly good at mancala. Like, you are NOT winning against her

-she likes watching people play games. Like- her ideal hangout is just sitting around with her friends and watching them play games like Uncharted or something

-Dr. Mann is like a dad to her and Dr. Rights is like a mom to her. They are the worlds worst coparents (they were together once but had a nasty breakup)

-she has a Polaroid camera she likes taking pictures of her friends with. She has a cork-board behind her desk that has a bunch of them hung up with thumb tacks

1: sexuality headcanon

glaub er weiß das selber nicht genau...er ist schon bisexuell weil. ist er halt schon. ich meine guck ihn an.... ich denke nur immer an die szene wo er schlafmittel verabreicht bekommt und so n mädchen anguckt woww sie hat schöne augen und dann justus anguckt woww er hat auch schöne augen. was kann ich mehr sagen! ich finde aber auch den headcanon dass bob schwul ist gut, dass sein ganzes rumgetue mit den mädchen halt nie klappt weil er sie eig gar nicht so richtig mag. diese gespräch mit doktor franklin hätte auch easy über einen typen sein können anstatt von brenda und bobs struggle mit seiner sexualität. das würde die spannung zwischen ihm und dr franklin noch weiter verstärken und würde die ganze sache dramatischer machen weil sie dann ernsthaft etwas "gegen" ihn in der hand hätte - sie könnte ihn halt damit emotional erpressen, damit drohen dass sie ihn outet etc, und bobs bindung zu ihr wäre auch nochmal anders wenn sie die erste person wäre der gegenüber er sich als erstes geoutet hätte. das wäre schon crazy & dramatisch & schmerzhaft 😭 der arme bob! naja. wie gesagt ich kann mir beides voll gut vorstellen und kann mich da nicht entscheiden...

braucht immer ein riesiges nest an kissen und decken um richtig zu schlafen - oder halt jmd neben ihm <3 in einem zelt eingequetscht zwischen peter und justus schläft er immer am besten. und noch einen: hat peter und justus in der grundschule kennengelernt, die sich schon lange davor kannten (ihre eltern kannten sich vom film, also sind peter und justus quasi zusammen aufgewachsen). er war noch ganz schüchtern in der grundschule und saß immer alleine am rand, hat mit nem stock in der erde gestochert und hat sich ziemlich gelangweilt. irgendwann ist das justus aufgefallen und er hat beschlossen dass das so nicht geht, also ist er mit peter hin und der rest ist geschichte <3

General Site 19 Thoughts

The break rooms are treated as holy places. You ever see those posts that are like "drop down your weapons and rest by the fire for a moment before traveling further"? Yeah that's how they view the break rooms. You do not mess with the break rooms.

Still, this gets broken from time to time by everyone and for the most BS reasons.

One time, Iceberg bit a pen and sent ink everywhere. It's still staining the linoleum.

Gears is immune to all the BS people throw at him. It just doesn't bother him. He does a curt "hm" and tells you to clean up your mess. Though, his attempts at humor aren't awful.

Bright will get things he shouldn't from 294 and will switch out the contents of drinks just to liven up the site.

Because most of the doctors I'm talking about surpass clearance levels that they shouldn't even be at, they're breaking rules CONSTANTLY and no one says anything. Who's gonna tell on them?? The level one who got introduced last week? Absolutely not.

Agent Strelnikov is not allowed to haze the new researchers. He makes them fear for their lives.

He's not allowed to hold any seat of power during faculty events either. The last time they let him in charge of the annual Halloween haunted house... Let's just say the janitors were NOT pleased.

Bright will join Strelnikov and often. And then Clef gets involved.

It is absolute hell to be in the same room as the three of them because they fuel each other's awful-ness lmfao.

Rights and Moose have a running joke where they "co parent" everyone of site 19. If you have any emotional problems or are neglecting yourself and don't want to talk about it to Glass, go to them. They're always there to take care of you

We all miss Dr. Hamm.

I like to think that even though the 0-5's frown greatly upon personal ties, they let certain wings of staff leave little "shrines" to the staff they've lost and were near and dear over the years. Dr. Hamm's is a special one.

Arguing with 035 about classical music is a right of passage because Clef said so.

There's certain hazing processes that the senior staff might pull on newer members that involve poking SCPs or other doctors. It's entertaining. Never enough to cause an incident, but enough for the person getting pranked to say "oh really?? This again? Grow up."

Honestly, everyone knows each other a tad too personally. When you're working at the foundation, and specifically a site like 19 (or any site that's known for it's high activity due to said anomalies), you kinda become a family in your own right. Do they all love each other? Absolutely not, but ribbing and taking the piss is a normal thing because what else are you going to do than scrutinize an anomaly??

Kondraki's photography is highly sought out for personal and professional reasons. If you ask him to take a selfie, he might fight you.

Being at site 19 is jarring and everyone knows it.

Crow will act like a legit dog if he doesn't want to associate with you for whatever reason. He might growl at you.

Inside jokes vary by site and 19 has tons of them!

There's some office spaces that are considered more rambunctious than others. Guess who I'm referring to.

Cimmerian is often heard whistling around the halls and that's a bit of a joke in itself.

There are regular bids about MTF groups. What the topic is changes, but there is a pool for it.

There are incidents that aren't recorded because it's almost embarrassing that it happened. Has nothing to do with the SCPs, just the dumbass researchers.

The medical wing is really tired of seeing Gerald, but like, they take care of him regardless until he reties. Clef and Kondraki got Gerald a punch card.

I can't actually recall if Mann is here but if he is just know he's a local boogeyman(n).

People get lost in there and the staff we're used to will either help you or get you even more lost. That's the rule if you make it to your destination depends on who you run into.

It's a different society, and functions in a different moral area as well. It's simultaneously more crude and prudish than anywhere else.

They're still people of science, so while the shenanigans isn't to the level of leaving a classroom of freshmen unattended for like 4 minutes, it's still a much more relaxed area as the people you're around most often get weirdly used to you. It's a good balance.

Headcanon of the Kingson wedding (cause I cant get these two out of my head):

King got Dr Mann to be his ring barer (cause Dr Mann is one of the forgot doctors a long side King and Edison)

and Edison ask his idol Clef to be his ring barer, however it went like this...

Edison: "As you may know I'm getting married and I wanted to ask you if you could be my ring barer?"

Clef (in the back of his mind currently): "No."

Francis (also in the back of their mind): "That awfully nice to want us to do that, but you could really find someone better."

Ukulele (unfortunately the one fronting current and thinking about how Edison is the only one that says he's cool and the thought of wearing all black hidden in the shadow, then walking out like some kind of grim reaper handing off a ring forged in hell (Ukulele has no idea how actual weddings work) and is slightly annoyed with Clef currently): "You know what, sure."

TF2 Mage AU

A Team Fortress 2 AU where magic exists and I change the storyline.

Hi! I don’t post here often, so I thought I’d change that by posting something that’s been occupying my thoughts for a while: a TF2 mage AU! When I discovered that a mage AU didn’t exist (at least, not any that I could find), I just had to take it upon myself to make one of my own. So, here are all of the ideas I currently have for the AU! Note that (eventually) this will become a written story. How long that will take, I have no clue. I still need a plot (if you have any plot ideas please please let me know; I’m desperate).

Basic Premise/World Info

The premise of the AU is, obviously, that mages exist. When people reach a certain age, they are allowed to start learning a single type of magic. There are many different magic types, ranging from elemental magic to dark magic. When a mage reaches a certain skill level, they are given a Familiar. They do not get to pick their Familiar- their Familiar picks them. They then keep their Familiar as a pet. The Familiar’s state of health, life span, and mood are synced with their owners (so for example, when their owner is sick the Familiar is sick, when the owner is sad the Familiar is sad, when the owner dies the Familiar dies, etc.). There are some people who choose not to take up a type of magic. These people are creatively referred to as Nomages, and in some cultures are looked down upon (though the same could be said about Mages).

Some things to clear up about the altered side of the AU are 1) The BLU team does not exist; I never saw a need for the two teams, and having them both just leads to basic and generally overused plot lines, 2) Australium doesn’t exist!! No immortality crap, 3) Gray Mann is the younger brother of Redmond and Blutarch (Red and Blu are still twins) and does not have a ridiculous story of him being able to talk since birth and being raised by eagles and whatnot, and 4) Saxton Hale is not very important to the plot. In fact, he’s actually dead in this AU. I wasn’t going to include him at all because I don’t like him and I couldn’t figure out how to fit him in, but a friend of mine actually had a cool idea for him being dead that I’ll elaborate on later.

Anyways, with all that out of the way, it’s time to introduce the characters!

Uses his magic to move faster, jump higher, and knock back enemies. I’d imagine he’d also use it to propel himself past or over enemies to land in front of or on top of them.

Decided to learn wind magic for basically the canon reason: he wanted to get the upper hand in fights, and also wanted to manage to beat his brothers to fights. So, instead of Speed magic, he decided to take up Wind magic since not only did it make him faster, but it is a great tool for fighting.

Soldier

Name: Jane Doe

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Pansexual, he really has no preference

Magic Type: Earth

Uses his magic to reach high places and throw literal boulders at people; basically a replacement for his RPG.

Took up earth magic to thereotically assist him in WWII (because if he’s a mage, they’d have to accept him, right?). He also found being able to throw destructive boulders to be incredibly helpful in any fight.

Gender: Nobody knows, everybody just refers to them as a they or an it.

Magic Type: Leaping

His magic basically just lets him jump really high (higher than Scout can go with his magic). This lets him shoot/throw grenades/bombs from more effective and destructive distances.

Mostly took up Leaping magic just to get his mom off his back about him learning magic. His father was a Leaping Mage, so Demo simply followed in his footsteps.

Began learning Shadow magic before he was even a sniper. He has always been an introvert and wanted to be able to get through crowds unseen and hide from people without being found.

Despite his young age, he already has a Familiar. He's just that much of a professional.

Is actually from Australia and the Mundys are his birth parents.

Uses his magic to read minds, bend wills, and use telepathy. These abilities all have some limits, but they are incredibly useful nonetheless.

Always enjoyed being sneaky and deceitful as a child, and as he got older he started learning Mind magic. This combined with his cunning nature and Dell's cloaking technology makes him one of the most stealthy and dangerous men in existence.

Although he denies it, he loves Jacques more than anything or anybody else. He'll often let the cat curl up on his lap while he's reading a magazine in his smoking room.

Ran the BLU team before he died and the two teams were merged. After his death, his team consisted of only Scout, Soldier, Heavy, Medic, and Sniper. Since he had more people on his team at the end, he counts this as a win for him.

Genuinely, Rights is always wanting to hold you. She's so soft and physically affectionate. I think touch is one of her main love languages.

She takes care of you when you're working the same hours as her. Always has a warm drink ready for you from 294.

Yes, she covers you in her lipstick smooches! All over your cheeks, your neck, your hands, forehead, she thinks you look so pretty also wearing whatever color she's adorning for the day as well.

Gives you lots of doodles throughout the day of things that she sees. It's kind of become its own newsletter specifically for you.

She's weirdly good about communication too. If she senses anything is wrong, she'll be on it in a way that doesn't make you feel stifled.

Honestly dating her is the most sound you'll ever be. She makes you a better person and you make her a better one too.

She's a bit wild at times but understand that if your energy is different than hers, the space is okay. Or, that doing lowkey things is just fine too. Rights is super considerate.

You're probably the most grounding thing in his life and it shows.

I think he's a tad stressed, a bit of a resident mad scientist like Dr. Mann, and a little quirky tm. He's also a brilliant mathematician. All of this factors into your relationship somehow so good luck.

For some weird reason, you dampen the apple seed effect with him?? The closer you are to him the more likely they won't bother him. He is clingy somewhat for this reason.

Of course, he also just enjoys spending time with you. He's a big acts of service and quality time guy. The two of you spend time walking around the site together during working hours.

The way he shows love is both through his words and how long he lets you spend time in his office lmfao. Usually, he lets anyone and everyone in to spend time with him but eventually there's limits. Not for you though. You can hang out with him and do paperwork while he emails other ethics committee members on stuff. It's doing your own thing in the presence of others that works.

He's watchful of you. Scarily watchful over you.

Okay I’m just gonna go ahead and write down some predictions wishes for 6x19 Rassvet because I am overly excited and scared

so first things first: I’m speculating under the assumption that Gabriel Mann will play our Red (whose og name is Ilya Koslov) before having plastic surgery

Katerina asks Ilya for help after real Raymond Reddington took Masha away from her; possibly she needs Ilya to create a new identity for her (I take this from the promo pic where he’s taking her photograph in a very static setting which makes me think they’re taking a passport/ID photo)

my guess is that Ilya is a KGB agent because that would mean he has the resources necessary for providing her with a new identity (also we know that one of our Red’s specialties is providing people with new identities so who knows? maybe that was exactly his job @ the KGB back in the day and that’s why he’s so good at it now?)

together Katerina and Ilya want to take Masha back from Raymond Reddington which means Ilya is there at the night of the fire when real Raymond Reddington is shot by Masha

Ilya gets injured and is unconscious when the fire starts, hence the scars on our Red’s back (in the promo trailer we see a short sequence of a man on the floor in a fire - could be the og Reddington as well of course but I like to think that Ilya was there and it’d be no new intel whatsoever to show us that real Raymond Reddington was there that night - we already know that. what would be kinda new even if not really surprising is that Ilya-Red was there.)

I’ve always had a headcanon that it was Liz/Masha who saved our Red from the fire (not the other way round) and with everything that happened so far this headcanon can actually work again. We know from Dr. Orchard (Luther Braxton Conclusion) that the people in Liz’s recovered memories might have played different roles than what she remembers now - so what if it was Little Lizzie who woke up the unconscious Ilya and thus saved him from being burned alive (being burned alive is a recurring theme in season 5 and while it obviously leads up to our Red burning real Reddington’s bones at the end of S5 it can also be a hint at Ilya’s old life literally being burned that night way back in 1990 because after that he became Raymond Reddington)

Ilya now feels like he’s forever in little Masha Rostova’s debt and vows to do whatever is necessary to keep that girl alive and safe and give her a normal life. So he saves her from the trauma of having shot her own father by having that memory erased from her mind. And he does whatever her mother needs him to do - and apparenty what she needed him to do was cover up Raymond Reddington’s death. What better way to do that than pretend he never died in the first place?

same i could never get into overwatch the story seems ah, way too serious almost? which is not a problem but then you log into the game and ppl are playing basketball in the lobby and spraying their cutesy tags everywhere like??? idk it's weird to me, it feels like the game and the lore were built separately, with tf2 it feels organic, especially with the voice lines!

another thing is, tf2's whole world setup is just whacky as hell like how gray mann was raised by eagles(?) and how magic just exists and every single one of the mercs is like "yeah sure let's fight demo's giant eye, not like we have anything better to do lol"

its so just out there that you could easily insert any bullcrap, have your little fun headcanons and fuck, it might as well be true bc everything and everyone is insane in this reality!! (this is also the reason why we kinda just accepted that respawn is a thing and why the mercs look like each other,,, engie's grandpa built an immortality machine for crying out loud)

as someone who got into valorant lore recently, they did a wonderful job of explaining as to why there are lookalikes on each team/why they're fighting for the objective while overwatch,,,??? did they even try? i think there's a war uhh, there are also bad guys? truth be told im not the best person to talk about that game, i should look into it lol

TL;DR: tf2 is designed with the lore in mind while overwatch's lore and game feels separate
