Süre, bir tweet'te, PPP liderinin Kanada ve Pakistan çifte vatandaşı olmasına karşın Seçim Temyiz Mahkemesi tarafınca NA-241 seçim bölgesinde aday olarak aday olmasına izin verildiğini söylemiş oldu. "Sadece artık Kanada vatandaşlığından vazgeçildiğine yada anayasanın 63(1) Maddesi uyarınca diskalifiye edildiğine dair belgesel kanıt sunmanın zamanı geldi" diye ekledi.Süre karşıtı olarak NA-241 koltuğunda seçimi kazanan PPP lideri, Kanada vatandaşlığından vazgeçtiğine ilişkin belgelerin yeminli beyanla beraber Sindh Yüksek Mahkemesi'nin (SHC) Seçim Temyiz Mahkemesi'ne sunulduğunu söylemiş oldu. Kendisi, bu belgeleri sunmasına dayanarak seçimlere katılmasına izin verildiğini de sözlerine ekledi. Resimde PPP talibi Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig'in Kanada vatandaşlığından vazgeçtiğini bildirdiği görülüyor.Oysa PTI Karaçi lideri, Baig'in Haziran 2023'te vazgeçtiğini iddia etmiş olduğu yabancı vatandaşlıktan vazgeçtiğine ilişkin belge sunmadığını iddia etti. Pakistan yasalarının yasakladığı bir fiil olan, çifte yurttaş olarak seçimlere katılmış olduğu için PPP liderine karşı dava açacağını söylemiş oldu.

Mushaira- A Key Component of Literary Festival Stresses Sandeep Marwah

Noida – Sandeep Marwah, the Chancellor of AAFT University and President of the 9th Global Literary Festival Noida, highlighted the significant role of Mushaira, a poetic symposium, as an integral part of literary festivals. He emphasized the deep-rooted cultural importance of Mushaira, underscoring its prevalence in North India and its establishment during the Mughal era in the 17th century.

A Mushaira is an event where poets congregate to showcase their poetic creations. It is deeply ingrained in the cultural fabric of North India, particularly in the domain of Urdu poetry. During the 9th Global Literary Festival Noida, organized at Marwah Studios, Sandeep Marwah advocated for the initiation of the Mushaira program on the second day of the festival.

The event witnessed the active participation of literary enthusiasts and was enhanced by the News Bulletin of day two, thoughtfully prepared by the students of AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication, garnering appreciation from a vast audience.

A notable highlight of the festival was the release of the book titled “Dynamics of Growth” by Dinesh Kaliya. The session also featured engaging presentations of Ghazal and Shayari by accomplished poets such as Admiral Khurram Shahzad Noor, Sharaf Nanparvi, Shishir Somvanshi, Javed Mushiri, Shahid Anwar, and Dr. Mridula Tandon.

To honor the speakers and participants, mementoes of the 9th Global Literary Festival were presented. Sushil Bharti, Festival Director, extended his gratitude and proposed a heartfelt vote of thanks to conclude the event.

The embrace of Mushaira at the 9th Global Literary Festival Noida further enriches the festival’s literary tapestry, bringing together the creative brilliance of poets and fostering a deeper appreciation for the art of poetry.

There was these three specific scenes that made me sob uncontrollably, one was when Arshia (Shraddha Kapoor) finds out her father was accidentally killed by her lover Haider (Shahid Kapoor) and she sings the Kashmiri folk song “Do Jahaan”. Another scene was when Haider discovers Arshia’s death in the graveyard, and he brings her inside the house just to hold her in his arms and caresses her face. The last scene was when Ghazala (Tabu) tries to convince Haider to surrender but she fails and eventually tells him “there’s no greater pain than to see the corpse of your child” and she breaks down.
