Shri Venkateshwara University has signed a joint educational agreement with Harper Adams University United Kingdom.

The agreement involves students and faculty from both countries collaborating on high-end research in various areas.

These areas include agriculture, veterinary science, animal husbandry, environmental science, and tourism.

Shri Venkateshwara University’s VIMS team won many medals at the Pulse 2023 Sports & Cultural Festival.

The VIMS (Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences) team from Shri Venkateshwara University won 12 medals at the Pulse 2023 Sports & Cultural Festival.

The prestigious AIIMS Delhi was the host of the 8 day competition that saw over 100 Government & private Medical colleges taking part.

At the Pulse 2023 Sports & cultural Festival, VIMS students won 5 Gold, 4 silver & 3 Bronze medals to win a dozen medals.

Dr. VPS Arora, the Chief Advisor of the Venkateshwara Group, along with Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, the CEO, Dr. Rakesh Yadav, the VC, Dr. Atul Verma, the Dean Medical, and Dr. Sanjiv Bhatt, the Dean Academics, congratulated the winning team.

Shohratgarh, Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh..Saurabh Negi, Tehsil President of Indian Journalist Association Tehsil unit, Shoratgarh, and General Secretary Rishabh Srinet had submitted a memorandum to SDM Anil Kumar and Tehsildar Rajesh Kumar Agarwal demanding to provide land for construction of Press club buildings in Shohratgarh and Badhni. During this, the officials assured to allot land for the construction of the pressclub as soon as possible.

In the memorandum submitted to the SDM and Tehsildar, the Tehsil President of the Indian Journalist Association Tehsil Unit Office, Shorathgarh has written that in all the Tehsils and Blocks of each district, the Government is issuing orders for allotment of land for the Pressclub Building for journalists. While our organization has also demanded land for Press club building for journalists in the past, the land has not been allotted yet. Keeping this in mind, the demand for providing land for the construction of Press club buildings in Shohratgarh Tehsil and Badhni Block has been made by the officials of the organization from SDM and Tehsildar. In this regard, SDM Anil Kumar said that the memorandum has been forwarded to the Tehsildar. This problem will be resolved soon. While Tehsildar Rajesh Kumar Agrawal gave solid assurance to the office bearers of the organization and said to provide land for the construction of the Press club building within a fortnight. Shri Venkateshwara University honoured many teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.

On Teachers ‘day, Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Felicitation ceremony & cultural evening.

We honored over 200 teachers & Principals from different schools of UP west with a shawl & memento for commendable work in education.

DR VPS Arora, who worked with former President Dr. Kalam, received a lifetime achievement award.

Dr VPS Arora is the chief Advisor of Venkateshwara Group and was formerly VC of Kumao University in Uttarakhand.

The CG & MLA Dr Hari Singh, Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi & the BJYM President Shubham Chaudhary inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.

Dr. Yatindra Kataria, CEO, Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, and VC, Dr. Rakesh Yadav, attended the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Felicitation ceremony and cultural evening’s inauguration.

On this occasion, the students presented an enthralling cultural program as a mark of respect for their educators. Meerut’s Rajiv Singh, or Junior Sunny Deol, mesmerized the audience with his mimicry skills.  

Dr HS Dhillon said India is a developed nation because of its talented youth and the credit goes to the teachers who nurtured them.

The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated through quality education and global exposure, India has become a world leader.

Maximum Indian teachers are teaching at some of the best institutions globally, according to the Pro Chancellor Dr. Rajiv Tyagi.

Dr. Yatindra Kataria, an educator and historian, stated that Dr. S. Radhakrishnan preferred to be called a teacher rather than a President, emphasizing the significance of teachers in society.

Shri Venkateshwara University organized over a dozen events marking the Health awareness Week.

On the occasion of World Health day (April 7), the Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS), Shri Venkateshwara University along with VGI Meerut organized a 5 day Health Awareness week which culminated on April 11th. For spreading health awareness, the health awareness week included health awareness rally, poster making, health seminar, street plays, quiz & over a dozen events banishing drugs & female foeticide. The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Dean Academics Dr Sanjiv Bhatt, and Abhinav Giri, inaugurated the closing ceremony by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati. Major Dr Vinay Kumar, & Col. Dr Atul Verma also assisted them in inaugurating the event. The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri & the Pro chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, felicitated the winners by presenting them memento & a certificate. In his address, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri asserted that because of the brilliant leadership of our Honorable PM the common man can avail world class healthcare facilities. The Pro chancellor, Dr Rajiv Tyagi, announced that along with cities, the Venkateshwara Group is establishing health centers in rural areas to provide free of cost medical services to the poor. Dr Sanjiv Bhatt reiterated our medical students are spreading health awareness in the rural areas.
