personal project pt2
through my research of Simon Murphy and his work I decided I didn't feel that this direct type of photography was for me - between having a lot of anxiety surrounding asking people to let me take their images. i gave it a lot of thought and realised that I would much prefer my images to be slightly more structured and more intricate. my new theme for my project is to take portraits that show and enhance peoples natural feature and show them in a cinematic 'coming of age' type feel of lighting and composition. I am taking inspiration from marcel rév the DP of HBOs euphoria and Paolo Barretta a cinematic photographer
