Thank you so much for the ask! 💜 I love any excuse to talk about Daisy Johnson.

First impression: I'm trying to squeeze my brain here, but all I remember was trying not to like her at first because I knew se was a double agent for the Rising Tide. It goes without saying I failed miserably about three episodes in.

Impression now: She is my favourite character of all time.

Favorite moment: I really can't choose, but one that comes to mind was the final fight of season 5. I think it's a very underrated fight scene, because it's the end of the world, her dad is dying, she has been recently betrayed and tortured by her friend, and she still goes into battle BY HERSELF against Talbot, and if that wasn't bad enough, when she's about to die a horrible death she realises that the only way she can save the world is if she takes the serum and basically condemns the person she loves most to his death. It's so heartbreaking and poetic, but very cool to watch, and I just love so much it, idk.

Idea for a story: This is angsty but I would love to read something where the events of 5.14 are properly dealt with. May watches the security cameras and goes ballistic on Fitz, and Daisy gets time to grieve and heal. They get Coulson back and he's horrified, and Jemma is so conflicted but she's there for her best friend.

Unpopular opinion: Since apparently I can't stop thinking about season 5, here's some more. I think she actually did a good job of leading the team in season 5b. Especially if you consider that she's been recently tortured, her family doesn't seem to care, she has no experience, and hasn't gotten a good nights sleep in about 5 years. She might be tough, but hello? IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD?? You have to be at least a little bossy if you wanna make it through that. Also if you're gonna be a baby and call her a hard ass maybe you should have thought twice before joining SHIELD.

Favorite relationship: If it's romantic, then Sousa. I love them so so much, they're literally perfect and despite my obvious outrage at season 5, I will forever love the AoS writers for somehow pulling that off. As for platonic relationships, I'd say May. She's the perfect mother figure for her, and I love the parallels between them. I think Daisy has the best relationships in general, but this one is my favourite. Honourable mentions go to Coulson for being the most unhinged dad ever, and to Jemma for being the sweetest friend in the earlier seasons.

Favorite headcanon: before she goes off to space at the end of season 7, she rebuilds Afterlife with the help of Sousa and Kora. I've said this before, but I think they are actually the perfect team to do this. Kora has lived in Afterlife her whole life, she's seen Jiaying help people go through Terrigenesis, and she's been though it herself in a much healthier and safer environment than Daisy. Sousa is reasonable and calm, which are good qualities to have when you're helping someone who's terrified and potentially dangerous. He has experience leading people, which I think would make him a good mentor for the Inhumans. So Kora has the experience, Sousa has the qualities, and in my opinion, Daisy has a nice combination of the two. She has a different and much more horrifying experience of Terrigenesis that people who accidentally go though it can relate to, and she has spent years exploring and controlling her powers, so she knows what the deal is. And she's also a good leader, so where Sousa can help the Inhumans pre-Terrigenesis, she can train them after if that's what they want. Because that's another thing, SHIELD may be funding Afterlife, but they've learnt their lesson and they're not sticking their noses where they shouldn't. They accept new recruits and help train them, but if that's not what the Inhumans want, then SHIELD helps them get settled back into their normal lives. Anyways this got long but it's one of my favourite headcanons, so there you go.

You know, Daisy and Sousa's baby would've turn 2 years old today

And if you're wondering how/why let meee explain:

The agents of shield finale episode aired on August 13th, 2020, and during the finale episode, Simmons gave Daisy the anatomy analysis test result. And, as we all know, most dousy shippers (including myself, obviously) predicted that Daisy's anatomy analysis would include a pregnancy test result. (cuz ya know Daisy and Sousa have stay together in space for over a year,, so ifykwim( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

Average pregnancy lasts about 38-40 weeks (280 days) and August 13th 2020-May 12th 2021 is approximately 38 weeks ish (272 days) though 38 weeks birth is considered as an early term baby, but from what i researched, babies born at 38 weeks is normal

Aaaand since average pregnancy would last around 280 days, dousy baby's due date would actually be on May 20th.

But yeah! Anyways that's just an explanation based on my research lol. If theres anything wrong feel free to correct me! Sorry for the grammar mistakes, english isnt my first language so yeah :]

Not very sure on what else to add but my personal headcanon for dousy baby is, his name is Jordan Philip Sousa-Johnson and he was born in space at May 12th 2021 (7:09am)

A random headcanon: adhd and ocd she told me so herself. she didn’t get diagnosed until after she went through terrigenesis because andrew had to do a psych eval on her. she’s hypersensitive to noise because of her powers, but noise-cancelling headphones don’t help because the way they function actually increases the vibrations she’ll feel, which just overwhelms her further (i have an entire fic idea about this i’ll get around to it one day i swear). she also has a phobia of needles after the amount of medical trauma she’s endured and bc of the amount of times she’s had her blood drawn against her will

OMG I needed an excuse to do this.

One of the -- if not THE -- BEST fanfics I've ever read is From Which Stars Have We Fallen, to Meet Each Other Here? by @naberiie and @evaceratops. It's yet another rarepair (possibly the rarest I've ever encountered), but WOW. Absolutely blew me away. It got me crying actual tears over two characters who were never even in a single scene together in canon. Actually, one of them has never been in live-action and the other has never been animated. So like...... it's rare. BUT SO SO SO SO GOOD and I will shout about it from the rooftops every chance I get.

There are many more I love, but I'll put those in another post someday!

lol oh man I have so many. But one of my favorites and one that I think is more of a crack-headcanon than an actual serious one is the whole "anatomy analysis" shindig at the end of Agents of Shield season 7 😂 I re-watched that ep last week, and Jemma was SO clearly just talking about an alien species or something, but me and a whole bunch of other diehard dousy shippers were like..........what if Daisy is pregnant???? and idk, there were some adorable fics that came out of it and a whole bunch of cute art that I got to be involved in, and it was a great time. I still maintain that headcanon when I need some light fluffy family dousy vibes :)

I'm sitting by an open window right now that looks out into the Austrian countryside, with mountains surrounding me and a light breeze coming through and I can just relax and not worry about responsibilities for a little while

I just purchased the GREATEST dairy free white chocolate with coconut and I'm currently in sugar induced heaven

I enrolled in college for the fall, and I've been missing school and wanting to get a stable career under my feet, and this will do just that and I'm SO EXCITED

Honestly, not one specifically. I'm a culmination of every book I've read, every movie/show I've watched, every experience I've lived, every place I've been, every person I've ever talked to, all tossed into a cauldron and swirled around together until something semi-recognizable as my style came out. Remember that scene in the lighthouse after Daniel gets the new prosthetic that Jemma gave him? Remember how his excuse for taking Daisy’s bag was “[wanting] to put some weight on the new leg”??? Well, I fully and wholeheartedly believe that when Daisy is a little reluctant to let Daniel do something for her, he uses the leg as an excuse. This continues for an absurdly long amount of time, Daniel thinks he’s hilarious. (Daisy also thinks he’s hilarious but would never ever tell him)

But think about it

Injured Daisy who absolutely refuses to be helped to the med bay? Daniel picks her up and is ‘just testing out the leg’

Daisy is sitting down but needs something? Daniel’s got it, walking around is good for the leg

Daisy has her arms full carrying stuff? Daniel takes some of it, he needs to put some weight on the new leg (”It’s not even new, Sousa. You’ve had it for literal years. And that’s not even 3 lbs, I’ve got it.” but she’s laughing the entire time)

Completely Random Agents of Shield Headcanons (Part 2)

Part 1

Daisy and Daniel's wedding anniversary is July 22nd. The day is the anniversary of Daniel's death in 1955. Daniel was actually the one who suggested that date. Daisy was very reluctant and confused, wondering why in the world he would want to choose his old death date, but Daniel convinced her with "You saved me that day." (Also it's the day 7x09 aired).

Despite the team not being in a formal work setting anymore (or very often), they all still pretty much call May, May, rather than Melinda. Phil is the only one who will call her that on a regular basis, and Mack and Elena will say it sometimes, but Fitzsimmons and Daisy still find it weird since they literally never called her Melinda before. In fact, there was a time when Daisy called her Melinda just to try it out. The two looked at each other, shook their heads, and laughed as they realized how weird it was, so she is just May, and May doesn't mind.

When really happy, Kora's body naturally emits warmth, and when she hugs people, they can feel this warmth radiate from her to them, and everyone pretty much loves it.

Also when Kora came back to 2019 with the team, she took 'Johnson' as her last name. Daisy was the one who suggested it given that Kora had said she actually didn't know what her last name was, so Daisy kinda just said, "You're my sister. Why shouldn't we have the same last name?"

Daisy visits Cal's veterinarian practice on a regular basis. He always has the biggest smile when she comes in, and everyone that works there knows her. Daisy always feels the sadness deep down within her, knowing that he doesn't truly remember their connection, but there are some moments that still make it feel like he's her father like when she first introduced Daniel to him. The happiest moment was when Daisy and Daniel decided it was time to finally adopt a dog, and they adopted a rescue from Cal's practice.

And the dog is either a golden retriever or a german shepherd (I might be biased towards german shepherds as my childhood dog was a german shepherd mix)

Each of the team members who have died at one point has their name on the Wall of Valor the number of times they had died during their seven years together. For example, May has gotten several students ask her, "Professor May, why is your name on the Wall of Valor twice?" This was Mack's idea.

Daisy will still sometimes use 'Skye' as a cover name for undercover work.

Polly Hinton invites May and Daisy to many of Robin's school functions (award ceremonies, holiday performances, festival nights, art shows, etc), and both of them make it a point to attend every single time. They even attend her high school graduation when that finally rolls around.

The team brought back their karaoke nights (it is canon that they had them in s2), and Mack made it a point to make "Don't You (Forget About Me)" a song they have to do every single time.

Alya's first word was 100% "Enoch", and Fitz is still pissed about it.

When/If the team starts having kids (excluding Alya), Mack and Elena are the first ones to have a kid (after already adopting Flint).

At some point, probably between seasons 1 and 2, Daisy got her GE Degree, and Coulson threw her a small party with the team and some of the new agents when she completed it.

This is more of a speculation than a headcanon, but what if Deke is not Alya's child? What if his mother is actually another daughter of Fitzsimmons? OR because the timeline changed, he may not even exist in the team's timeline at all anymore. Like Alya ends up pregnant and she actually has a girl, and Fitzsimmons are just like "Wait, what?" OR They have a son who has a son, and as the kid grows up, Fitzsimmons start to notice similarities and just go "Oh my god."

Coulson has taken all of the team's kids on joyrides in Lola at one point or another. Daniel nearly had a panic attack when he saw his and Daisy's tiny daughter in the passenger seat as Lola flew through the air.

Joey and Elena have lunch together very often. Mack and Flint tag along pretty often, and when she's free, Daisy is also invited as well and Daniel when he comes into the picture. They all also attend Joey and his boyfriend's wedding.

Daniel gets really into photography. After the typewriter, Daisy's next big gift is a polaroid camera. Eventually, he does own a more modern camera and he does have quite the portfolio on his smartphone, but he just loves his polaroid. He loves taking pictures of architecture and nature, but his favorite subject to photograph is, of course, Daisy. And once they have a kid, the kid is another favorite photography subject of his as they grow up.

One of the first things the team did after returning to 2019 after time traveling was going to a diner since their diner meal in s4 was cut short.

Alya and Davis' son actually become really good friends when they are older. (And if you think about it, Alya is actually older by like 2 or 3 years)

Every family takes turns hosting Christmas. After all the kids are born, May hosting and The Mackenzie-Rodriguez family hosting actually become the most anticipated Christmases
