Subconscious, two Kaiba (2008) doujinshi albums!

So I recently learned that there are two doujinshi albums based on Kaiba 2008, both called Subconscious!

The first one was released on April 2, 2012 by Zakuro Recordings. It has a total of 11 tracks.

The second one was released on April 12, 2012 by Subroc Recordings. It has the same tracks as the first version, with two additional tracks.

If I was Spain, I would also want to let France into my house, hear his deep thoughts, and make him burst out laughing too.

Although he understands very well what it would be like to stay close to France for too long.

Well, he really experienced that feeling.

But there is really something about France that made Spain want to cherish.

Throughout the doujinshi, there was not a single passionate kiss or at least a hug from them to clearly show the atmosphere of meeting again.

We just have a simple Spain who accidentally saw France's bandaged arm and France watching Spain fall asleep. But somehow we still clearly see them longing for each other.

I also like the metaphor that how the cat in Spain's house is so attached to France even though they have never met each other. That cat not only loved to sit next to him but also jumped on his lap and asked for an affectionate stroke. And gunblue loves to use cats to symbolize their relationship.

It feels like everything is momentary, but every gesture and every look is all they have for each other.

One last thing is that the title of this doujinshi is "Mon Vecino" which combines the words "Mon" ("Mine" in French) and "Vecino" ("Neighbor" in Spanish). This play on words makes the two separate but also side by side.

Oh, how much I adore all the years when France is 26 years old and Spain is 25 years old.

Obsessing over a ship from an anime I never finished (I know what happens though - been spoiled) and I began to obsess over this ship because I read some doujinshi of them (I have liked this ship in the past)

In a dark AU where Saruhiko just refused to choose between the two kings, how do you think a Mikoto/Saru/Reisi dynamic can work? Or maybe even in a non-dark AU.

Dark AU I would see this as being all twisted and unhealthy, and maybe rather than ‘Fushimi can’t choose between his Kings’ it’s more ‘neither King will let him go.’ Like I could see in this AU when Fushimi leaves Homra Mikoto is just like ‘nope’ and pretty much grabs him and tries to like pin him to the wall and bite him. Munakata is rather displeased about that and the whole thing turns into a fight, except the fight ends with them both alternating between beating each other up and making out with Fushimi. After this I think the dynamic would be more both Kings trying to show the other that they have ‘possession’ of Fushimi, like he may be living at S4 and working for Munakata but Mikoto does enjoy whenever their paths cross that he can send Fushimi back to Munakata covered in Mikoto’s very obvious bites and scratches. Of course at those times Munakata then has to show that Fushimi is his and Fushimi gets the brunt of that too. This being dark AU he enjoys it though, I could see Fushimi even trying to knowingly pit them against each other — and the Kings absolutely know he’s doing it — because he enjoys seeing people fight over him.

The non-dark AU version would obviously be somewhat more amicable, though I could still see Mikoto and Munakata both being possessive over Fushimi as a way to needle the other and rather than encouraging it Fushimi mostly just rolls his eyes and clicks his tongue all you’re both idiots. I feel like even if he couldn’t choose Fushimi would probably still end up living at S4, since Munakata obviously has more day-to-day usage for Fushimi and besides, I imagine Homra would be even more openly hostile than S4 is (and assuming Fushimi still goes all betrayal with Yata there’s that issue to consider too). However he doesn’t openly denounce Mikoto as his King and can still be called on if needed though Mikoto’s not really the type to do that, he’s more likely to just walk into S4 and grab Fushimi bodily if needed. I feel like a non-dark AU version of this would be much more threesome than two Kings fighting independently over Fushimi while occasionally violently making out with each other. In this case they’re still fighting over Fushimi but it’s more to tease each other and in general he’s being ‘shared,’ which Fushimi doesn’t mind as long as they’re not being annoying about it. This also means sometimes all three will have to work together, which probably involves a lot of Mikoto and Munakata snarking with each other while both being protective of Fushimi in their own way, and Fushimi being fondly annoyed by both of them.

Sekibanki the wanderer?

This is a page from Urin's doujin about Sekibanki just prior to the events of Double Dealing Character. This story gives Sekibanki some origins as well as a connection to the incident with the mallet.

It's a nice way to make Sekibanki more than just one of the now aggressive youkai that gets in the way of the playable cast.

Also, this doujin is actually a part of a series Urin made to adapt Seija's incident as a whole. Decently good read, the art's great, and it's all translated on Danbooru!

Fushimi and Shiro first date post ROK

Ooh Fushimi rare pair :D This would be an interesting couple, I feel like Fushimi is not terribly interested in Shiro but then imagine them post-ROK suddenly spending time together (Munakata would be so concerned that Shiro is going to steal away the clansman that he rightly stole first). Maybe Fushimi tends to accompany Munakata to various government meetings and spends most of it bored outside the meeting room on his PDA, and it happens fairly often that Shiro is dismissed before Munakata so he decides to spend some time getting to know this person who helped save everyone during the jungle incident. Fushimi is naturally pretty taciturn at first and has no interest in talking but slowly Shiro gets him to open up more and they end up getting along, like imagine Shiro idly talking science and when he’s about to apologize for going off topic he realizes that Fushimi’s actually understood everything he said. 

So then eventually Shiro decides why not and asks Fushimi on a date. Fushimi just gives him a ‘…’ look but then nods and mumbles ‘fine.’ I think Shiro would go for something low-key for a first date, this is after all his first time taking someone on a date in decades and he can guess that Fushimi isn’t very practiced in this area either. I imagine their first date being something like a simple coffee date, maybe even at like an internet cafe and Shiro suggests they play a game together while they drink. Shiro isn’t great at games but he just smiles breezily and says he’s counting on Fushimi to help him with it, just don’t get too mad if I die quick okay. Fushimi clicks his tongue but does play the game, at some point it probably turns from them playing together to Shiro leaning over Fushimi’s shoulder and encouraging him as Fushimi just sweeps through the game. Imagine Shiro praising Fushimi’s skills and Fushimi mumbles that it’s nothing, Shiro shakes his head and says this kind of thing is something he’s completely unfamiliar with so watching a skilled person like Fushimi is really fun for him. Fushimi tries to blow that off but he’s actually pretty pleased and when Shiro suggests they go out again some time he agrees.
