I liked the idea of “Welcome to the New World” being something of a propaganda song. But it must get kinda grating when you’re still stuck on old earth. Doesn’t stop it from playing on the radio every.single.morning.

Thanks for the positive reception to Noir, everyone, given I made him nearly entirely out of whole cloth based on a footnote in a design sheet. I’ll be sure to make him suffer take good care of him.

Also, I know everyone’s in a hurry to get to Popstar and have the two siblings meet again (and watch me destroy everyone’s hearts) but that’s going to require just a little bit of backstory first. Don’t worry, the backstory will destroy your heart too.

I can't express it enough #whether you ship ryokita or not it's still a good read! like really it's well articulated and goes in depth about ryo & kita's relationship #and acknowledges how unhealthy it is but the realization of this makes the both of them understand each other more clearly without-#-seeing through rose colored glasses. I just- ughhh! I'm not good with words and I can't stress it enough so once again please read this!#you can really tell how much this artist is passionate and dedicated about the ship #not only that but how they color the cover page (and their art in general) is JUST SO CATCHING! LITERAL EYE CANDY!#and the pacing and panelling of the story is well thought out plus the equal balance of humor and angst is so entertaining & heart wrenchin #and their art style... fricking adorable and expressive and striking!! Just grrr!! I LOVE THIS ARTIST'S WORK SO MUCH!!!#I'm not that particularly crazy about ryokita but they are very interesting to explore and could have some potential if they worked out-#-their own flaws. slowly reading through the fe:if manga and it's neat to see gunter mentioned a few more times obliquely! :o

translation's a bit spotty as i'm pretty sure 'northern part of the castle' = the actual northern fortress, and Gunter's title should be a Sir (knight) by default, not lord.

that said, it's interesting to see that's the kind of casual mention he'd talk to the staff. :o and that leo trusts him, more or less (ironic).

#mostly downloading for art ref/style purposes with this doujin but cool to see worldbuilding things fleshed out too #'krad you're chesire cat grinning about having to clarify Which Sir aren't you' [whistles innocently]

Still a work in progress but I already like it. You guys remember that panel from a snippet of the chapter 2, where Roy Mustang burns a cover of a gossip magazine? Well, I though it would be a nice gift for my ko-fi followers, to make a pdf of that entire magazine issue, gossip columns, opinion pieces, fashion plates, expose on Roy Mustang and all - to be added to my ko-fi store!
