Favorite Davion x Mirana moments part 1

When he sees her for the first time (we feel you buddy)

When the Barkeep keeps on rambling but Davion's eyes are on someone else (Hellooo? earth to Davion...?)

When Mirana wasn't interested about the boastful storytelling of Davion's dragon conquest, so she left the scene, leaving a dejected Davion. (this also made him realize that Mirana isn't the one to be blinded by all his dragon glory flirtiness)

When he discovers that Mirana is a princess

"Princess??? You get more interesting by the minute."

(because Davion is wondering how a princess like her ends up in a place like that, but him being respectful towards her stopped him from prying for more.)

And of course, out of all the people around the area, Mirana and Marci (through Sagan) are the ones who found him in the woods. <3

I enjoyed dota: dragons blood for what it was but my main complaint is that there is so much confusing exposition that me and my housemate only had the vaguest idea what was happening sometimes. Like the 7 pillars shit and the dragon council stuff and even the god stuff was occasionally confusing. Don’t get me wrong we understand most of it and the important plot points came across fine I just don’t know why some of the lore had to be that intricate just simplify for the masses if it was a game thing. My two favourite characters were Marci and the sexy Irish genocidal elf, Luna? I think? Like none of the characters were particularly fleshed out but these two were entertaining and I hope we see more of them ESPECIALLY MARCI. I really wanna see her outside of her relationship with Mirana and being comic relief but I have an unnerving feeling they won’t as it’s a pretty big cast. Lunas plot was the most interesting to me I think someone who knows they don’t really have a moral compass going to someone else to be that moral compass only to find out they’re also devoid of morals is pretty interesting and I hope they follow through with it or at least show her floundering with what to do without her god next season while she heals (extra points if she ends up being morally correct against mirana whos in the wrong that would be spicy) (OH or just going absolutely feral evil that would just be fun lol). Although tbf I might be looking to far into it. I haven’t mentioned the main two characters which is cause they’re fine it’s whatever the dragon boy angst wasn’t my cup of tea I guess and the princess’ whole shtick was being a bit of a nag and her relationship to her goddess so at least we’ll see some nice crisis of faith next season if nothing else. I appreciated the moral greyness of it all like yeah the goddess was a bitch who let her daughter die for no reason but is it worth starting a war, teaming up with Satan and getting hundreds killed just for revenge? Questionable. Which drags their followers into the morally grey with them which is fun. So overall entertaining watch, sometimes very cheesy, characters a little thin but enough happening non stop to keep me interested and engaged (especially with me and my housemate mimicking the thick accents every 5 minutes).

Favorite Davion x Mirana moments part 2

When Davion shared about his memories on what happened back on the cave with the two dragons. And him asking for Mirana's name so he could thank her properly for taking care of him.

Davion accompanying Mirana and Marci to their destination (notice that he is walking behind them even though he knows the way. He lets her lead the way but still having their backs all throughout the journey).

Mirana getting distracted by Davion's "secrets" (we feel you, Marci)

Davion remembering Mirana's favorite bar drink from when they first met.

Mirana, again, not giving a damn about his dragon gloriness (the princess is kinda hard to impress huh, Davion? LOL)

Mirana persuading Davion to join them instead of fighting (uh-oh, is that worry we see from you, princess?)

Davion telling Mirana that he is not type of person that runs away (earning that brave but stupid remark)

Mirana saving Davion from the bandits with that badass archery skills (she got yo back boi)

When Mirana offered Davion to join them to get away from the guards despite seeing his dragon transformation.

The way I don’t remember anything about what’s going on. I cannot even remember the elf princess and the Irish one interacting before but they’re friends? I am so confused like I watched a recap but honestly I’m just enjoying the ride.
