Subida a Treviso, Cantabria.

Me: I am fine
Me, inside: the rich created the poor so that someone can fight in their wars. For way too many recruits the only reason to join the army is the payment, much higher than anything else they could achieve in this economy or with this education, both creations of the rich. This is common knowledge yet nobody riots against it. Even works of fiction that depict a worried character looking for a source of income to treat their sick little sister will default to the character joining the military, completely missing the chance for social commentary and expecting the audience to just agree this is the best solution. We should talk more about the reasons why soldiers earn so much. We should talk about the cult of warriors, how warrior-like characters (muscles, weapons, fight skills, composure and authority) are almost universally perceived in a positive way, seen as cool and attractive. This extends to the fashion industry, where clothing pieces that originate in the military (t-shirts and caps and ripped jeans and thick-soled boots) became the most normal everyday wear, further making the society familiar with military. Country borders exist where the greedy people's appetites clash against each other, and they already spread across the whole globe. You are conditioned and expected to care for and maintain those borders. Is that what you really want?
