For your consideration... My take on Raleigh Samson from the Dragon Age games. Oddly topical since the next Dragon Age game is coming out soon.

I do love taking tragic characters who have had all the worst luck and give them redemption and a happy ending. Which is exactly what is happening here. Look at him all smiling and recovering from Lyrium addiction after having joined the Inquisition. Boy gone done good after all.

Merry christmas to all of you, my dear mutuals, friends and followers 🕯🕯🕯🕯

May you all have the chance to get some well deserved rest and to spend some beautiful days with your loved ones.

Since my sister tolerated the first round of chemotherapy well, we got to see each other today and our family can be together on christmas eve, something that wasn't assured at the beginning of this week. Though she felt nauseated the night after she got her first dose, she had some medicaments to treat that as well and so she came around. I see that as a good sign. Please... let it be a good sign... 🙏🏻🕯 All I'm wishing for christmas (and the upcoming new year) is that she will defeat that evil cancer and that her and my whole family and friends can get or stay healthy. Health is everything.

Thank you again for all your comforting words of empathy in your replies on posts, as personal message on here or in tags. I see and read them all and they mean so much to me. I'm so grateful to be a part of such a lovely (now very small, but even more precious) fandom.

A little while ago I was commissioned by the fabulousness that is The Stupendium to paint a portrait for their next video project - a stupendous and dramatic music video to celebrate the release of the game 'Frost Punk 2'.

For those unfamiliar, 'The Stupendium is a UK based musician, animator and content creator, creating weird, wonderful and usually incredibly nerdy songs and music videos.'

Here's a painting of dead, romantic poet Thomas Thorne, played by Mathew Baynton from the BBC series Ghosts. I just love the way he mooches around in a perpetual state of melancholic pining, looking like he's moments away from a dramatic break-down.
