A little while ago I was commissioned by the fabulousness that is The Stupendium to paint a portrait for their next video project - a stupendous and dramatic music video to celebrate the release of the game 'Frost Punk 2'.

For those unfamiliar, 'The Stupendium is a UK based musician, animator and content creator, creating weird, wonderful and usually incredibly nerdy songs and music videos.'

For your consideration... My take on Raleigh Samson from the Dragon Age games. Oddly topical since the next Dragon Age game is coming out soon.

I do love taking tragic characters who have had all the worst luck and give them redemption and a happy ending. Which is exactly what is happening here. Look at him all smiling and recovering from Lyrium addiction after having joined the Inquisition. Boy gone done good after all.

I have seen Bill and would love to paint some of the characters some point. I've only seen clips of Yonderland, but it looks fun. 😁

Weirdly Specific Artist Ask Game

Didn't see a lot of artist ask games, wanted to make a silly one.

(I wrote this while sick out of my mind last year and it's been collecting dust in my drafts, I might as well let it run free) 1. Art programs you have but don't use

2. Is it easier to draw someone facing left or right (or forward even)

3. What ideas come from when you were little

Ooooh your work is just wonderful. My late darling was an artist too, and she did tons of photorealistic work in charcoal, pastels, and pencils. She and I were Stede and Ed before David Jenkins graduated high school. Looking at your work brought her back to me for a moment, and I thank you for that, and the happy-hurt. Be well and know that you bring happiness to strangers with broken hearts.

So I finally watched the Book of Boba Fett. And let's just say that if you don't enjoy talking about Boba Fett's dusty desert pyjamas and Temuera Morrison's delightful freckles, then you're probably not going to get much meaningful conversation out of me right now. Woof. ;-)
