You know what would be a fun 9-1-1 bottle episode? Going off from clips I’ve seen of the Rookie, where Tim and Lucy have criminal doppelgängers, the 118 should have a shift or two where they run into their own doppelgängers on calls. Like I can imagine Buck’s is some British photographer or something (I just want an excuse for Oliver to use his British accent). Eddie’s is a street dancer (come on we all want to see him dancing again). Chimney’s a serious judge (love his acting range). Hen an attorney (like her role from Under the Dome). Bobby’s maybe a bar tender? Even Ravi can be included as like a very intelligent college student who’s on break from an Ivy League school (the path he broke away from before becoming a firefighter). I think it would be fun! Hell throw in a ghost sensing chick and a royal from Africa for Maddie and Athena too!

And because I need to make this a little bit about buddie, Buck and Eddie possibly maybe kind of unknowingly flirt with the doppelgängers (Buck with Eddie’s and Eddie with bucks).

I mean just imagine the chaos and hilarity of it all!!!

“Hey, weird question I know, but uh… What base are you and your Peter on?” Y/N 1 asked.

Y/N was currently waiting for his boyfriend Peter to come back with food, along with his two other dimension selves as he waited with his own dimensional counterparts. YN 1 was the oldest of them. His Peter Parker looks like actor Tobey Maguire. Y/N 2 was the boyfriend of Peter 2, who bore a striking resemblance to Andrew Garfield.

He looks at Y/N 1 with a shocked look and a blush. “Excuse me?”

“What he means to say is… What base are you guys on?”

“B-base?” Y/N asked innocently. “Like baseball?”

“Sorta. But I mean things like y'know... Have you kissed? Held hands?… Gave him a hand or blowjob, that kind of thing.” Y/N 2 replied with a chuckle.

Y/N blushed hard. Talking about sex with his selves was kinda embarrassing. He shook his head no. “U-uh. “W-We've kissed and held hands but uh.. I haven't uh. Sucked his cock?” Was it a question or a statement? Sounded like a question.

“Ah, you'll get there. Don’t worry.” Y/N 1 said with a smirk. “You're as good looking as us. He’ll let you suck him, eventually.”

Y/N nods with a blush as Y/N 2 looks at him curiously. “Are you… Are you a virgin?”

It must have been plain as day on his face because Y/N felt his ears hot with embarrassment. He looked down in shame.

“Hey, Y/N, it’s okay. No need to be embarrassed or shy around us.” Y/N 2 said.

“Yeah, we were in your position once, so we know exactly how you feel and aren’t going to make fun of you for it.” Y/N 1 told him.

“Really?”

“Of course. This is you you’re talking to, and if you want, we can help you set the mood.”

“What do you mean?” Y/N asked.

“We can seduce our respective Peters into having sex with us. Getting your Peter the idea to try it out with you and go from there. And we can help guide you guys on what to do. Only if you want to, that is.” Y/N 2 said.

It was weird to consider. To have his first time in front of older versions of himself from other dimensions, while his boyfriend’s doppelgängers watched them as well. It was like having an orgy with yourself and your boyfriend while looking into a mirror. The thought of it made Y/N hard in his pants, which did not go unnoticed by his smirking doppelgängers.

“So… Is that a yes?” Y/N 1 smirks.

Y/N licks his lips. “Yeah, I’d like that. It’s not everyday you get instructions on how to have sex from yourself. And yourself.”

The other two Y/N’s smiled and chuckled. “Excellent. All I need is a snapback and an empty pizza box.” Y/N 1 said.

“And I need a lab coat and glasses.” Y/N 2 responded.

Y/N frowns at that. “What for?”

“A lure.” They laugh.

My waiter at the diner looked so much like Will Graham that I had to pull up a picture of Hugh Darcy to show him and another waitress went by and concurred that they seriously looked alike. Also, he was kind of flirting with me I think and the 5% part of me that is straight was cheesing hard—I don’t know if it’s because he looks like a fictional man I project my issues onto and regular read smut about or what.

Then, after I was taking my wallet out to pay, there was a little piece of paper left on the table and I thought “maybe he left his number??” And turns out it was a receipt from my psychiatry visit that fell out of my wallet 💀LMAO

He said I looked really familiar and I said yeah I come here a lot with my mom. But he said that wasn’t it and then he shook my hand and told me his name when I left, not sure how typical that is.

Someone PLEASE give me your interpretation of this social interaction, my autism is not helping me determine how flirtatious he truly was or if it was straight up in my head.

Fear and Hunger: Termina - Tanaka's Doppelgänger's overworld sprites

The doppelgängers in TVD are such a interesting topic to me-

They literally exist because Silas and Amara went against the law of nature and become immortal, and nature found a way of balance by creating the doppelgängers. But then I questioned how the rest of the doppelgängers came to be because they’re all descendants from Silas and Amara right?

I assume that Amara and Silas had other family who would continue their bloodline? Because Qetsiyah cursed the both of them to stone, they obviously din’t continue their own bloodline- someone else had to.

Going over Amara’s bloodline, it would continue until we eventually get to Tatia, who I believe is from the petrova bloodline if I’m not mistaken. And then the bloodline would continue until we get Katherine, who gives birth to Nadia who continues the petrova bloodline since the rest of Katherine’s family was killed. Nadia’s bloodline would continue until we get to the Flemming’s, aka Isobel, who gives birth to Elena and she becomes the last of Amara’s doppelgängers.

With Silas’s bloodline we barely know anything. All we know is that it will eventually end up with the Salvatore bloodline and Stefan is born, and then the only reason the Salvatore bloodline continues if because of his and Damon’s half brother since they both got killed before they could ever have a family. And at some point, someone in the Salvatore family ended up with an Avery or something along those lines because the last of Silas doppelgängers was Tom Avery.

And there’s also the whole “doppelgängers are drawn to each other” thing which if you really think about it- meant Elena and Tom were meant to end up together if Stefan had never been turned and him and Elena met. We know Katherine and Stefan were truly drawn to each other because of this, we can assume Tatia met her own doppelgängers at some point, or she didn’t- because if we think about the fact that Katherine only met the Salvatores because she had been a vampire, her and Stefan were never meant to meet, and the whole doppelgängers being drawn to each other really only happens if two doppelgängers are alive around the same time-

And this is not even going over the fact that Stefan and Elena, even if they did end up together for a moment, broke up and would end up with different people (Elena with Damon, Stefan with Caroline briefly). Meaning that doppelgängers aren’t always meant to be (or maybe is because Stefan and Elena weren’t the doppelgängers that were meant to be together)

And if we really want to think further- if Amara and Stilas had never drank the cure- but the plot of TVD continued as it did and Damon and Elena would become human and have children together, the doppelgänger would continue but now because the Salvatore and Petrova bloodline were mixed- the next doppelgängers would be family-

It's funny to see people talk about how Quetsiah was justified in casting Amara into stone for eternity. Like sure, the man cheats but giving the more cruel punishment to the girl - Amara and driving her to madness makes complete sense. The girl was in pain for two thousand years.

Amara was also Quetsiah's handmaiden, as in her servant - no matter what Quetsiah claimed - a servant and her mistress can never be friends, because they are not equals.

In either case, punishing the other woman more severely than her crusty boyfriend does not make her a 'cool girl boss'. It makes her a complicated and interesting character, someone to be feared, but it doesn't justify what she did to Amara.

Instead it just shows, once again, that the TVD showrunners were hell bent on making doppelgängers suffer in the worst way possible.

A very quick sketch, I’m sorry I don’t draw David often so he’s not great.

This was an idea I had after seeing a post about 6 and 12 appearing on the show before their time as Doctor. Then I saw an episode where 2 had a lookalike and he was pretending to be him for a bit. It reminded me of dialogue from Susan Kay’s Phantom where Erik says this bit about faces repeating.

Anyway I find I always want to make a comic or a fic with an idea but then it never happens because I don’t have time so instead I’m just gonna start posting ideas like this and fic writers can just have it ‘er.

Stefan watched the fire burn in the fireplace. His green eyes held a lot of emotions. Y/N enters the room and strides toward him with purpose. The formerly dead Salvatore brother turned his head slightly towards him. "I wanted to apologize…" Stefan began. Y/N nodded and waited for him to continue. "Good. You should apologize—"

"Let me finish. I said I wanted to. Not that I would. And then I realized, I'm not sorry."

"Wow, you sound like Damon." Y/N notes.

"Guess I'm more like my brother than I thought. But I'm not sorry for what I did Y/N." Stefan told his husband. "My—our son was in danger of being killed by surviving Traveler members. And human, vampire, or whatever I am, I will always protect those I love. It's who I am. I sacrifice myself for those I care about. So, yeah, I would have risked dying all over again in my doppelgänger's body if it meant that you and Alex were safe. I'd rather choke on my bad decisions. Then just carry them to my grave. I will always make the decision that I made."

"Fine. Then I'm not sorry either. I'm not sorry that I've gotten a second chance to be with the man that I love. But I'm not going to lose you again because you want to groom your hero hair. So, for the sake of our son. For yours and for mine, please don't do anything reckless like that again." Y/N told him.

Stefan looks at him and nods his head.

"Good." Y/N held him close as tears streamed down his face, holding Stefan/Eddie Longo tight.
