So I’ve had the idea on my head to stick the hunter: the parenting cast into the world of RWBY and now I’m gonna put some of these thoughts here in the hopes of finding someone else who shares my niche fandoms

So to start I imagine the D clan are a group of unlicensed huntsman who chose to work outside of the academy system because of big D’s dislike of authority as well as a strangely personal seeming beef with the king of vale, but he still clearly knows more about Salem and Ozpins war then he should be able to know. D also believes the king of bake co-opted the term huntsman for his academy scheme and they don’t deserve to use the title

For big D I imagine his weapon to still just be a sword, he’s just batshit insane and skilled enough to not want or need dust or firearms and is somehow still the most dangerous fighter of the group, I have trouble imagining a semblance for most of the group but for D id imagine maybe something where he grows stronger with his confidence? Because D’s greatest weapon besides his knowledge is his unyielding and deranged optimism

For kitten the weapon is probably the easiest, just give him the guardsman spear from warhammer, it fits pretty well as a RWBY style weapon, I absolutely imagine kitten to be a cat Faunus (because duh) but his semblance I have a harder time insgining, presumably something that reflects his studious nature in some way?

Door is also fairly easy weapon wise, a big ass shotgun that transforms into a machete, semblance is a bit harder? Maybe something that allows him to manipulate earth and drive to form barriers?

For boy, give him a pistol that transforms into a knife, his semblance could be a form of precognition or extrasensory perception

Marcus is the hardest to imagine in my case because he doesn’t really have any iconic weapons like the rest of the cast, maybe he could be a dust castor that infuses dust into his clothes? And a semblance like cinder’s that lets him manipulate dust or other materials to form varying weapons? Something to represent his sorcerous aptitude

Horse is just a horse but similar to zwei he has aura and a concerning amount of intelligence

The great and mighty Kevin (yes I’m counting him as part of the D clan) could be a vampire bat Faunus who was initially part of Salem’s schemes but was convinced by D to join his group instead, I imagine him looking basically the same but with big bat ears coming out of the hat, also his semblance would be similar to marrow’s where he can issue basic commands.

If anybody had better ideas for weapons or semblances or anything else they want to add

my brain is being consumed by Hunter the Parenting, so I touched up some doodles I made of the gang a while back,,,,,

If you haven't heard of Hunter the Parenting its a youtube series thats in the World of Darkness setting and OOOUUGGGHHHHH its so good. Hilarious. Good plot. Brilliant writing. STUNNING ART!!!! Love this series to bits. Currently considering making a full art piece, like fully rendered and crap.
