Monster Call of Duty Men with a dread ducky demon reader

Author’s Note: characters may be out of character, Dread Ducky is one of my favorite characters in dark deception and I’m also getting into call of duty so I made this, cod monster types are based off of the designs of @bluegiragi , I hope you enjoy it. I also might make a gold watcher and doom ducky one, hell I might make a murder monkey one. I apologize if I get some stuff wrong about call of duty. Let me know if you want more.

You were a Dread Ducky, a demon who was made of flesh and robotics, wearing your traffic cone hat and doing the dance of your people with pride, not afraid to bust some ass either if they say otherwise. Just like your mama who was a Doom Ducky demon, you wanted to join the military and wallop those asses in battle and have justice served. When you first got there, you already felt eyes on you by others soldiers. Some were curious stares and some were “what the hell is that” stares but you pushed them away because there was no way you were going to let them ruin your day. Price had read your files and he was both impressed in your skills and is interested in you, he was the first one to welcome you to the team when you got there. Price always gives a listening ear even if you can’t really speak and you mostly communicate through quacks and movement. Your silly duck dance manages to make him crack a smile. In battle, the dragon hybrid man is impressed by your strength and moves, especially when you open your mouth real wide only to reveal another head coming out with a swift movement to bite and drag your opponent back to your mouth like a cuckoo clock. In the background of the battle field fighting and watching you kick ass like “that’s my boy/girl/Ducky”.

Ghost was suspicious of you when he first met you, he observes you from a far, when he finally opens up to you more he will tell the most cheesy dad jokes. “Hey what do you call a bear that has no teeth?”. . . . . “A gummy bear” (sorry I had too, my bad 😂💀) “what did the duck say to the bar tender?”. . . . . “Put it on my bill.” (Ok fine I’ll stop)

He enjoys just sitting down with you, there’s a smile behind his mask when you do your ducky dance, he doesn’t know why but he manages to crack a smile and let out a snort when you do it. He also can’t help but to crack a smile behind his mask when you make quacks to say “hey ghost how are you doing?” And “what up Lt.” as for Soap, he loves you, Johnny loves you, from your traffic cone hat to your ducky dance and to your cute little waddles when you walk or run. He was always curious about your monster type and he finds you both cool and adorable. He hypes you up when you ducky dance, he will also make an attempt to try to do your ducky dance as well with a funky beat in the background. It always blows a circuit in his mind when you sit down because it looks like your legs completely disappeared without a trace. He also asks if he can ride you (Ayo? Not like that, he means like a piggy or more like ducky back ride) Gaz like soap, loves you, he also hypes up your sweet dance moves. he might attempt on trying to do your ducky dance. He runs around with you on free time. He in enjoys roof top talks with you and goofing off with you.

You and Alejandro get along, you two are dance buddies, you two joke around and laugh a lot. You love helping Rudy, Soap, and Gaz play pranks then act a fool when you are questioned by it.

In the end they love you, you are their chaotic ball of sunshine.

Reaper Nurses

• The Reaper Nurses are the first enemies who refer to Malak by his name.

• They are the first enemy that can kill the player before the collection of Soul Shards, with the second being the Trigger Teddies.

• The Reaper Nurses are one of the only enemies that respond to being stunned, saying things such as "Ow, that hurt!" and "You'll pay for that!". The others are Lucky the Rabbit and Hangry the Pig.

• In the seventh Q&A, it was confirmed that the Reaper Nurses can see through their bags and that all are identical.

• The Reaper Nurses are the second enemies that use a form of transportation or a vehicle, which is their ambulances during the Matron boss battle, with the first being the Clown Gremlins.

• Following the Clown Gremlins and Goliath Clowns, the Reaper Nurses are the third enemies that can be killed by Doug. They are followed by the members of the Joy Joy Gang (Lucky, Hangry, and Penny), and the Trigger Teddies.

• Following the Gold Watchers and Titan Watchers, the Reaper Nurses are the first enemies to use a weapon that is not a part of their body to kill the player. They are followed by The Matron and Joy Kill. As with most of these examples, the Gold Watchers materialize their weapon out of nowhere.

• The Reaper Nurses are the third enemies to possess a long-ranged attack, following the Doom Ducky and the Dread Duckies. They are followed by Penny the Chicken, Joy Kill, and Trigger Teddies.

All the aforementioned enemies (except for the Trigger Teddies) are also the only ones in Dark Deception with stunning abilities, since they have long-ranged attacks to stun the player (Trigger Teddies do not count since their sole ranged attack involves blowing up in a lethal explosion). Unlike the other examples, Reaper Nurses would go in for the kill rather than dance and taunt their opponents, hence, their stun screen is red rather than yellow, signifying greater danger.

Gold watchers

• Because of the presence of three Gold Watchers in the hospital lounge, " Torment Therapy" is the second level to feature physical appearances of other enemies from the previous nightmares, with the first being "Crazy Carnevil", which features Murder Monkeys and Dread Duckies in a cage.

Matron

• Despite the Reaper Nurses' in-game model being in the game's preview for Chapter 4, she was confirmed to be a stunt double model, and the real model wasn't revealed until the YouTube channel of Glowstick Entertainment reached 33,000 subs. The old model of the Reaper Nurses' appeared as an overweight female on wheels that wields a gigantic sharp syringe in her arms, which could be a potential weapon.

What the Reaper Nurses' stunt double model is riding on seemed to resemble an old-timey self-balancing scooter.

• It was speculated that the Matron's name was Mary, until it turned out to be false.

The name Mary was most likely a reference to Bloody Mary.

• She may represent Tomophobia, the fear of surgical operation and medication; Nosocomephobia, fear of medical places like hospitals, infirmaries, and asylums; Latrophobia, fear of doctors and various medical staffs, including nurses; and Cacomorphobia, fear of overweight or obese people.

• Originally, as stated by Vince Livings, she was supposed to be a completely different character in 2014 back then, and she wasn't supposed to be a nurse at all. As such, she was originally going to be conceptualized as a prison guard akin to the Spider Pig and Evil Vulture Guard, but was scrapped and was later technically changed, so they revised her concept into an actual nurse in 2015 and so forth.

• The Matron was often misconceptualized by many people to be a medieval knight/crusader after the release of Chapter 3, possibly due to the position where she wields her gigantic syringe weapon in her arms, which can sometimes be easily mistaken for them wielding a sword, and the fact that the symbol on her mask is (coincidentally) confused to be a Knights Templar symbol while in the game it supposedly was meant to represent a common everyday first aid symbol.

To add on to the hilarious misconception, they also thought the "Knight" was riding on a Segway.

• The Matron is the second female boss, the first being Agatha, and third being Mama Bear.

• She was originally intended to be the main enemy of "Torment Therapy" before being replaced by the Reaper Nurses. As such, she has an unused portal icon, she appeared in the teaser after Chapter 3, and she was featured alongside other monsters in the old header for Chapter 4.

• The Matron is the fourth boss to be voiced, as well as the second one to actually speak.

• SuperHorrorBro estimated her height to be about 30 feet.

• The Matron is one of the only enemies to not have visible feet, with the other being Red Stalkers.

• Sneaking past the Matron and the Reaper Nurses undetected will unlock the "Stealthy Survivor" achievement.

• The Matron is the second fastest enemy in the game, with the first being the Red Stalkers.

• The Matron is the third enemy that chases Doug on wheels, with the first being the Clown Gremlins (Clown Car) and the second being the Reaper Nurses.

• She is the second boss enemy who have appeared on the menu, the first being Agatha.

Interestingly enough, they are both voiced by the same person.

Torment Therapy

• This is the only level in Chapter 4 to have two zones instead of three.

• So far, Torment Therapy has the most soul shards out of any level despite having only two zones.

• The portal of this level used to depict the picture of the matron without the red comb before the release of Chapter 4.

• In the fourteenth Q&A, Vince had confirmed the level would take place in daytime. However, in the real game, Doug enters the hospital at nighttime.

• Torment Therapy is the level containing the most traps in the game so far.

• So far, Torment Therapy, Crazy Carnevil, Mascot Mayhem, and Bearly Buried are the only levels with their portal icons changed.

• When paying close attention behind the walls outside of the Hospital entrance, one can notice that there is a silhouette of a city filled with skyscrapers.

• This is one of the only levels that can actually kill you in the introduction to the level, with the other being Bearly Buried.

• Torment Therapy is the only level that Malak does not pursue you or is actually heard speaking, this is because he was occupied.

my memory is a bit hazy when it comes to dark deception plot since it has been a decade or so by now since i started being into it since its demo. However

If i am correct, all the levels represent something major in the protag's life before death. In a nightmare-ish view. Like in a psychological torment to repent for his actions kind of thing.

Which means Yes. Yes the Dread and Doom Duckies looking like that was Intentional And Plot-Relevant.
