The manga. It's a bit hard to follow but this is pretty much the gist of it
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
There's no fanart i can see on Pixiv on this game as far as I know. There's only art I can see on Google images.
There seems to be a Tumblr blog associated with this game but since I don't leave my own blogs (unless in EXTREMELY RARE cases, a 1 in 900000000000 chance) I can't go there. I'm not risking more community rejection, even looking at other people's blogs would terrify me especially if they are fanart associated.

Apologies. Needed to delete the previous post of this as I decided to go more indepth
Okay so here we have Fragile Dreams, a unique Wii game that doesn't get much attention at all. Pretty much like some other exclusive Wii games I've seen like Rodea and Pandoras Tower. The Wii had a lot of games like these that fell under the radar. Because of being overshadowed by the more mega popular titles.
youtube
You play as a boy named Seto, who basically is on the hunt for a silver haired girl he met. What's interesting is that this game is actually set in a post apocalyptic universe, where humanity is almost extinct due to the result of a science experiment that tried to force the minds of all humans to feel empathy through the means of a telepathic catalyst.
Basically. It was an experiment that made everyone feel constantly happy and comfortable, as if you were on drugs that eased your mind and pain, an over positive person's dream right? To all the trauma haters, this is the stuff of dreams that will erase any negative emotions whatsoever, with some kind of empathy involved. Unless it just made people more caring towards everyone if they were in pain, I could live with that.
However, problem was that this had a negative effect on the brain. If people slept then they would never wake up, so to survive people had to stay awake as long as possible (which is impossible because eventually your body will pass out from exhaustion) a very disturbing form of mass extinction, as people starved to death in a permanent sleep paralysis...
Luckily the catalyst was shut down but the damage had already been done to severe effect. Now only a few humans remain in a barren and deserted world. Seto also searches for other survivors.
Seto is a very sensitive and emotional 15 year old boy, who's been through constant trauma throughout the game. Well.... imagine walking around a lonely earth, all the places you recognise yet most of humanity that one lived there is dead, so these places are empty, you have no one to speak to and you are forced to survive alone. Seto seems to have lived a shut in life until the death of his carer, which he had to bury. Forced to venture into the wilderness, the decayed state of the world makes him feel far more alone.
Seto is very quick to cry, he's extremely emotional and is terrified of being left alone. He cries a LOT in this game, and you can't blame him especially with what he's been through and the new friends he's lost...
On the whump side, this is emotional whump. Especially with how clingy Seto is, he has a tendency for hugging which makes this so adorable. He's also very quick to forgive people, at one point in the game you encounter a teenage boy named Crow who bullies Seto, stealing his locket and forcing him to chase him round the amusement park. Crow is Cocky, mischievous and arrogant who clearly just wanted someone to play with and Seto was the victim that happened to be passing by. However after falling off the ferries wheel, Seto panics and asks if Crow is alright, despite how nasty Crow was to him with the teasing and name calling, Seto is in tears as he's terrified that he's dead. Crow reveals that he's alive though both confused and annoyed that Seto is crying over him.
Both end up talking to each other, then when Seto asks if he will see him again, he says that they are friends and suddenly leans in to kiss Seto, adorable yet not really something you should be doing with a person you just met, specifically on the lips and without asking for consent.
Tumblr media
Both become best friends. A sudden yet much needed friendship during a tragic time. The two then reluctantly part ways.
Tumblr media
However when Crow is encountered again, Seto learns to his horror that Crow is in fact a robot and is about to permanently shut down. With his battery dying, Crow is weak and even blind. Despite Crow's depression by telling Seto that he's not even alive, yet alone human. Seto hugs him tightly, telling him that he's his best friend regardless.
Tumblr media
Yes, they are a ship. Though art on it is very rare.
Tumblr media
A very long embrace. Seto wraps his arms around Crow and holds him for a long time in this emotional scene. Tears running from his eyes as the life of his best friend is draining away. The unlikely friend he only just made.... only to lose in a heartbeat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Seto loves his allies dearly, even if he barely knows them. That's how alone he really feels, and how terrified he is to lose them, knowing that he's witnessed death before.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Crow dies in Seto's arms. When being told that he has deactivated, Seto corrects that by respectfully saying that he died *pulling Crow's body in tighter as he says that*
Tumblr media
This sensitivity and compassion towards other characters is seen during other parts of the game. After all, it kinda makes sense since the game focuses on empathy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He even hugs his radio companion... 😢 bless his dear little heart
Tumblr media
He weeps as well after Sai disappears, who's a female spirit who's body is already dead. Which Seto even then pulls the cover over in respect.
Tumblr media
A disturbing thing about Sai is that in her appearance she has bandages as well as drawings on her body as if about to be operated on (which is often what surgeons do)
This is a reference to the painful experiments she had to endure from the scientists. Child experimentation is clearly another key factor in this game. Children were tested on during the glass cage project, it's also possible that Crow may have actually been one of those children (based on the photo with him as a younger child standing next to a man in a lab coat) could his soul or feelings have been transferred into a robot or something? As part of some experiment regarding human to robot transfers? Kinda like making A.I clones of existing people.
Either way. There's mad scientist work at play here, akin to horror games that include human child experimentation.
This game also has a manga. It's Japanese only though fans have translated it. The manga takes place after the events of the game. In the Manga, Seto has a severe mental breakdown when he thought that Ren was going to die due to lack of medicine, he refuses to let her walk on her own due to being so scared of losing her. Much to her disapproval, he carries her all the way to Tokyo Tower.
Whump doesn't have to be about a physical injury or visable illness. It can be about the characters who are hurting deep inside their heart. The emotional agony that impacts their overall health be it internal or external. It's important to recognise mental illness, not push it away, even if there isn't much we can do, you can't bring back the dead but you can be a friend, to support them as best you can, even if it's a little thing to show you care like trying to cheer them up by chatting about their favourite topics.

Man, I'm losing my motivation into this... I don't think people are interested or enjoy in what I do.
Though, I'm going to press on. 😮‍💨 no matter the exhaustion, depression or anything else. I have hope, that someday this place will really pay off for me in finally making peace with the person I offended.
Anyway. Here's some much needed Sonic whump, well, Sonic is okay but I don't think his best buddy is all too well
Poor Tails goes through a lot, from being weaponised to possibly suffering from food poisoning.

Game: Happy's Humble Burger Farm
This is a rather bizarre horror game that also acts as a fast food worker simulator. You are placed into a strange place where you are made to go to work every day, wierd stuff constantly happens in this place, not just the fact that there's two workers set to work at this fast food outlet (one who doesn't do anything apart from getting there on time so you have to do everything himself)
Naturally you are going to want to explore the area and figure out where you are and what clues this place is hiding.
Oh. And don't underestimate the fast food brand's mascots, you'll soon see that they are way more horrifying than basic barnyard preschool creations
Tumblr media
At the beginning of the game, your character regains consciousness during a surgery that inserts a mind control chip into his brain (you can see where this whole game is going here) overhearing a conversation between the surgeons that are unaware of his consciousness. It's very clear that they are up to something nefarious.
They are scientists using you in an experiment of mind control.
youtube
The mind chips these bioscientists use, while horrifyingly effective to some degree, end up causing brain damage in the subjects the longer it's in them, unfortunately your colleague is the victim of this. He was once psychologically active, but slowly lost his ability to speak and is in a permanent zombie state. Yet he's still able to get to work on time.
Whilst you don't see the operating rooms that were used to operate on these unfortunate people, at the end of the game, you see the killed scientists who are wearing surgical gear.

Disaster: Day Of Crises is a unique Nintendo Wii game that has players play as a badass guy who is constantly thrown into an epidemic of disaster scenarios like something commonly seen in blockbuster action movies, with a hero saving people from apocalyptic scenarios, be it from natural disaster or shooting bad guys. This is basically what this is.
This game has multiple segments of gameplay, rail shooter, driving and even first aid mini games. As well as gun shooting and driving, this guy saves lives by stopping to perform first aid, as well as CPR even in the midst of a fire. If that's not heroic dedication then I don't know what is.
Here's some random examples

Game: Amanda The Adventurer
Think Dora The Explorer but as a horror game. You watch cursed interactive video tapes of these childrens educational characters doing different things. Though a lot of these things done by Amanda can be very questionable and outright terrifying.
Things on the tape also alter the real world environment (in the game, so don't worry) in the place you were watching the tapes. You must solve puzzles in that environment, with clues via the tapes so that you can process the story of the game. There's multiple endings and secrets.
Enter If You Dare 👇 especially if you are not creeped out by childrens animated programs (which some really did used to be horrifying)
Tumblr media
In one of the tapes Wooly tries to communicate with the player but gets attacked by Amanda who suddenly acts innocent. Wooly is clearly in distress and pain as his knee is badly cut, all while Amanda is talking directly to the screen, telling the player that he needs to see a doctor.
The scene then cuts to a hall with three doors. Each door has a moving image of a body part or organ, naturally the answer is the broken bone which indicates that Amanda broke Wooly's leg. Ouch
Tumblr media
Here's the clinic examination room, Amanda clearly not bothered as Wooly looks at her terrified. He has every right to be terrified of her, especially when there's no medical staff around as one of the secret tapes show.
Tumblr media
One of the secret tapes, if found shows an alternate version of this scene. But this time with Wooly being perfectly fine, though confused with Amanda's sudden appearance which then Amanda straight up declares that Wooly is broken and that his head is the issue. She then gives him a drink that makes him pass out. Then the scene cuts to an operating room.
Tumblr media
Yes, she's preparing for brain surgery. Inexperienced and with no anesthetic. I think we can guess how this will go down.
Tumblr media
There are what appears to be blood splatters all over the floor, has she done this before? Despite asking for the players input over which surgical "tool" she should use, she plans to use them all and begins by trying to use the saw on Wooly, who wakes up
Tumblr media
That's really what you see here as the tape cuts off whilst they are struggling. Wooly crying for help.
Don't hire Amanda as a doctor or surgeon anytime, butcher? Yes
youtube
This is the first and third playthrough where these scenes are seen
