Artie. The two of you share a sweet if somewhat awkward kiss. You talk after the party and agree to start going out. You date for about half a season before it peters out, and you have an amicable break up. You stay really good friends afterwards

Blaine. Both of you are drunk as hell, but that doesn't stop either of you from knowing that was the most romantic encounter of either of your lives - possibly all of human history - and deciding to turn this into something real. The relationship does not survive in the light of day

Sam. You go at it for so long that the rest of the party has to physically pull you off of one another. You keep up a fun fling for a couple of weeks, until someone else leads Sam away and keeps him for themselves

Puck. You're both pretty tipsy as you share an over the top kiss just to gross everyone else out. You don't stay for the end of the game, instead head up to a guest bedroom to hook up. You become friends with benefits and end up fooling around whenever you're both bored

Finn. The kiss is very romantic, even has you seeing fireworks. After the party he tells you how much he cares for you, and he could really see a relationship working out between the two of you. The following week at school, he's walking down the hall hand in hand with his ex. He tries not to make eye contact with you

Mike. Turns out his moves are just as good off the dance floor. You fall for him because how could you not? You end up dating for several months after the party. But eventually his dad pressures him to break off his relationship so he can focus on getting into college. Now you're rethinking that "Mike Chang Forever" tattoo you just got... Oops.

Kurt. You're both equally nervous about this. Neither of you have kissed anyone before, and you didn't want your first times to be during a party game. It's pretty awkward but there's still a little spark there. You date for a while before deciding you'd be better off as friends, but you always love to look back and laugh on how you ended up going out in the first place

Matt. Whoa, where has he been?? you think to yourself. Oh well, it's just nice he got invited to the party. The two of you share the sweetest little smooch, and end up dating afterwards. You never say a word to each other, which by Glee standards makes it the healthiest relationship

Jesse. The kiss is erotic and romantic, and afterwards he tells you that there's not a doubt in his mind that the two of you are soulmates. The following Monday at school, he texts you to meet him in the parking lot. You agree, just to get ambushed by members of Vocal Adrenaline throwing eggs at you

Will. What the-? When did he get here? Everyone else in the circle looks as panicked and confused as you feel. He laughs, leans forward, says you have to abide by the rules of the game. You hear sirens in the distance, which seem to startle him. He gets up and dives through the window to escape, and you feel a sense of relief wash over you

I might actually crawl back on my hands and knees to AO3 or FF.net again...like I haven't read fanfiction in YEARS. Mostly because I got tired of trying to find fanfiction worth reading in the fandoms I was in, and I eventually stopped really following any of those old fandoms but now...The Locked Tomb series has made me want to take a look and see what they've got going on over in the fanfiction world cause the fan art is AMAZING.

could you imagine a g/t cinderella story? like two characters who meet while they're the same size, but one of them is secretly a giant/tiny? whether it's through a spell or sizeshifting or whatever but for one night they get to go to an event where everyone is normally bigger/smaller than them. and they meet someone there and hit it off but then the clock strikes midnight and they have to run away. but instead of leaving behind a slipper their love interest catches a glimpse of them at their true size just before they get away

imagine a borrower-turned-human shrinking back down to their normal size and slipping back into the palace walls. imagine a giant-turned-human slowly growing back to their normal size and leaving an accidental trail of destruction in their wake? there's so many other possibilities, those are just some off of the top of my head

I have an AU I'm writing that has a few chapters that incorporate some of these ideas, but those characters technically know each other before they meet at the ball. I'd like to see a story where the characters meet for the first time at the ball, so I wanted to share this idea with everyone here. let me know what you think!
