Do you think what i wrote here(after this question) has anything to do with possibly being aplatonic or is it something more aromantic or possibly autism related or maybe something just compellty diffrent (I just am courious whats the deal with those things about me is)?

As a kid i always told my mom that i love her. most kids do.

As a teen i kinda started to ask what even is love and i never really managed to find an answer. And i really dont like saying things that are untrue so i stoped telling my mom i love her. Somehow we ended up talking about it and she got really upset that "i dont love her" but like i dont love her cuz i dont know what love is. So i really dont get why shes so upset. I still care about her, i think? I would miss her if she dissapered or died. Tho maybe i would only miss things that she provides me (care, support). So i guess i dont really know.

Its been some years. She still seems to be a bit upset about "my child doesnt know if they love me" thing whenever it pops up. I still dont know what love means be it platonic, familair or whatevevr else.

Most of my friendships are very shared interest based. That on top the fact that my interests can change relativly fast ends up with friends i lost contact with cuz just I lost interest in talking about that particular thing and with time i just forget about that person. Even if we talked everyday. I guess i always view relationships as something kinda transactional.

I'd recommend checking out the loveless and afamilial labels/communities. Loveless is a broad label that encompasses a lot of experiences related to rejecting love as a concept or having a complicated relationship with love, and it does include people who straight up feel that they don't experience love at all in any form. Afamilial is an aspec identity that describes feeling little to no familial attraction/love. Communities for both these labels exist primarily on tumblr from what I've seen, and the loveless community in particular is very intertwined with the aro community (though being aro is not a requirement to be loveless). The tags #loveless aro and #afamilial are a good place to start, and I have the tag #loveless on this blog for all things related to being loveless as well (also hello I'm loveless myself!).

What you describe in your last paragraph seems to be a pretty common experience among aplatonics. Whether you're aplspec or not is something only you can say for certain, but based on what little you've shared, it sounds like you certainly could be.

Since you mentioned autism, it is possible that all of this part of your autism, but it also would not invalidate you being loveless or aspec if that is the case. Plenty of loveless or aspec people find that their loveless/aspec identity goes hand in hand with their neurodivergence, or even believe that it is caused entirely by their neurodivergence. That doesn't make those experiences or identities any less real or valid for them. If you would be more comfortable attributing these experiences to your autism and leaving it at that, that's perfectly fine, but these other labels are still open to you if you want them.

ahhh yes, i thought those sketches were very cute! i enjoy them immensely. i went through your blog a little to familiarize myself again with your work, its very good. i don't think you should sell yourself short

IMO of what kind of artwork you should be making, whatever the hell you want. Don't let the lure of notes and popularity lead you to draw things you dont enjoy drawing. It's your skill, your time, your materials, no one should dictate what you do with them. unless its for commission, but that's a whole 'nother ball game

as far as my own personal preferences to what i reblog, im pretty open. though i do have some general rules that i follow. First of all, the artwork has to be from the artist themselves, ooooorrrr in rare occasion, the artist has to be linked prominently. like, i sometimes reblog stuff from RetroGamingBlog2, even though they do not create art, but does link to the artist.

second, the art has to be mostly zelda related. i prefer all zelda related, but, ehh. Like, sometimes people draw smash bros, which has some zelda characters, but not all of them. if its like, one zelda character in a scene of ten, i'll probably skip it. same thing with people posting "art dumps" of sketches with lots of different fandoms. like, if its ten pictures and only one or two are zelda, i might pass. the art has to be of substantial quality to get me to reblog it, cuz i do consider what my audience might like to see. the only exception is artist commissions pages, i do reblog commissions pages regardless of if they are in the zelda fandom or not.

third, i do try to reblog as much from learning artists as more skillful ones, but sometimes the quality just isnt there. and esp. if the learning artist posts many pictures at a time, i might just choose a couple to reblog instead of spamming everyone with a lot of that artist. or it goes straight into the queue, which doles out art over a period of time at a more manageable rate

and fourth, i try not to reblog Ben Drowned stuff, cuz im not really sure its zelda related??? i also find horror stuff distasteful in general, esp without proper content warnings. but that doesn't mean i havent. and usually that stuff isn't tagged by the OG posters, and i'll add tags myself, which slows me down if i have to add a lot of tags. cuz anyone who follows this blog knows i reblog a lot XD

the last thing i'll touch upon is the lemon stuff. im ok with lemon content, heck i make my own lemon content, which i've reblogged to this blog ^^* i tag it "legend of lemon" for anyone who wants to block the tag. and now tumblr has added that mature filter, which is such a big help. sometimes the OG poster doesn't add a mature label and i'll just do it myself to ere on the side of caution. that being said, most lemon art is not posted by the OG artist, and doesn't have a link to the artist either. i also find some lemon art personally distasteful, and i feel weird reblogging it even with a mature label and tags. BUT, ya know, im here to serve. if people want me to reblog everything, then everything i shall reblog. i know there is quite the split in the zelda fandom between lemon and not lemon. i've been blocked by a couple folks because of it XD

Femme boy is one of those complicated slurs cuz there's no general consensus, even between transwomen, on whether or not it's actually a slur.

Femme boy was originally used to describe *feminine* *boys*

But what was originally misinformed labeling of transwomen as femme boys, became a slur as it was used intentionally and maliciously towards transwomen, especially in the porn industry.

In it's intended context, i feel that it's valid as a descriptor.

But when people say g**sy they don't mean romani most of the time

But it's still a slur against romani people.

Femme boy is a slur against trans women, regardless of context, because you cannot erase a words connotations.

If used, expect potential backlash, even in the *intended* context

Because i have met trans women who view femb*oy and tra*p on par with shem*le, l*dy b*y, or tr*nny

But even so it's important to note that while we share the same culture, none of us will encouter slurs in the same context.

For me, i couldn't reclaim tr*nny for years, even the sight of it or mention of it made me suicidally dysphoric

But i now use it without dysphoria cuz i see trans people on tik tok reclaiming it and using it positively

I never had beef with queer cuz it was never used against me

And for words like shem*le or femb*y...

I feel pretty nonplussed, because I've only ever encoutered them in a sexualized, pornographic context, and accepted it as encounterable biggotry that i have to accept if i want to see myself in a sexual or romantic context in porn or media.

Everyone has their own lives, and if you insist on reclaiming, or for those outside of a community (which your friends certianly are), using a slur, you have to expect backlash and cant get pissy if someone has beef with it, even if that person is just speaking on behalf of a nonpresent, oppressed group.

Cuz uh, idk if you know this, but if you wanna reclaim a slur, 1. You have to acknowledge it as a slur, and 2. Acknowledge that it describes you outside of harmful contexts.

You can't reclaim something that isnt a slur.

And you shouldn't use a slur if you're not part of the slighted group, if at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

However, with all this being said, its so important to mention *how new* of a term femme boy even is, let alone how new of a slur it is.

Not everyone even knows about it, let alone it's confusing, albeit, short lived, history, but speaking as a transwoman, i respect the hell out of you for going to bat for us, and you can feel free to link your friends to this post cuz yes Femme boy/i is a slur, cuz it is used as a slur, and has the intended effect of oppressing and invalidating transwomen.

i can acknowledge it exist outside of transphobia, but when a term is so wildly sene as offensive and hurtful to a group that faces it frequently..... Please be more sensitive to our pain.

hm. thinking. very long rant ahead because ive been struggling a bit lately. and i need to get a lot of stuff off my chest.

diagnostic labels are definitely deeply flawed no debate there. on and off for a long time ive wondered if i have a personality disorder but often i think it might be more related to adhd symptoms combined with depression and anxiety since those are what im diagnosed with. but idk maybe its something else. but the whole system is so flawed i dont think its actually any specific thing its just like. struggles of being neurodivergent/mentally ill. but it can be hard not to feel like i can label it well.

im like "i have adhd" cuz thats something ive technically been diagnosed with and people are like "oh so you're hyper and can't pay attention?" and like yeah sometimes a little bit. but also i have really unstable moods and im very sensitive and i feel overly reliant on outside validation and my feelings dont always make sense and its not just that work and school is difficult but it also affects my interpersonal relationships and my identity and my whole life. i can say i have depression and anxiety too but they still dont seem like the right explanation i guess? i think people see those things as being like. maybe a lot more of a one dimensional experience.

it kinda checks out since adhd is known to be connected to mood swings and hypersensitivity and stuff. plus the depression and anxiety i guess. but i feel like saying i have adhd and depression and anxiety stiff doesnt get that stuff across to people. people tend to group things like personality disorders and developmental 'disorders' like adhd and autism and mood disorders and psycotic disorders seperately but i feel like theres actually sooo much overlap and shared struggles that people dont think about. also everyones experience is so different it hardly makes sense to even try to label a bunch of people under one disorder.

idk i feel frustrated. i just feel like people dont accept that i have certain problems that are caused by my brain when they dont fit neatly into a label they can understand. and i also have a hard time feeling like my struggles are valid when i cant explain them in an acceptable way. it also makes me feel like its hard to find solidarity and community with people who share similar struggles. idk its all kinda messed up.
