it's a tendonna fic! the doctor gets injured saving people (predictably) and is high off his ass on painkillers. luckily there's a pretty redheaded woman willing to sit with him while he recovers!!! (Donna is very annoyed with him but also relieved he's okay.) he starts flirting with her (in his doctor-style) while not knowing who she is. Donna is very flustered and very amused by this:

“I don’t... who are you?” He finally asked the question he had been wondering the whole time. “Do you work here?”

The woman raised an eyebrow and frowned. “Don’t remember?”

“No.” 

“What kind of painkillers do these people have?” The woman muttered to herself, but the Doctor caught it with his amazing hearing. “I’m Donna, Donna Noble.”

“Donna Noble,” he repeated slowly, forcing the words to remain in his cotton ball-filled mind. Donna. Noble. Donna Noble. Noble lady. A brilliant name. “Donna. Donnaaaaaaa.” 

“God, even on painkillers.” She sighed. 

“’m the Doctor, Donna Noble.”

“I know, spaceman.”

“You’re gorgeous.” The words he had been trying to find finally came to him. Donna’s mouth dropped open.

As for favorite eps uhm hmmm!!! I don't know if I could choose rn. I'm watching episodes fast enough that I don't like get to chew on em and dissect em. (Watch through round 2 would do that) but I really liked the episode where the alien was that little kid who just wanted friends and made drawings come to life and I think the episode Blink? Where the Weeping Angels first show up. That episode was so fucking good and sexy oh my God.

I'm so glad you're enjoying reading through my liveblog I gotta do it more for the next batch of eps I watch. I've been liveblogging a ton in a friends server cause they have a dedicated channel for it.

I also tried watching Torchwood! It was just slightly not Doctor Who enough that my brain was like "uhm NO. No you don't" but I fucking know I'm gonna watch it when I get the time
