Fodder for Cows: Why It Matters
In India, cows are revered as symbols of nourishment and motherhood, often referred to as “Gaumata.” However, once they grow old and stop producing milk, many of these sacred animals are sadly abandoned by their owners, deemed useless in their eyes. This abandonment leaves thousands of innocent cows without a home, food, or care, forcing them to wander the streets in search of sustenance. Many are old, injured, or simply left to fend for themselves.
At Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala, we are committed to changing this heartbreaking narrative. Our gaushala is home to over 21,000 desi cows, offering them shelter, nourishment, and medical care. These cows, once roaming helplessly on the streets and fields, now find a safe haven where they are cared for with love and respect.
The Plight of Abandoned Cows
Before finding refuge in our gaushala, these cows lived a life of uncertainty and despair. Without a proper arrangement for feeding, they would often be chased away from fields, only to find themselves on the streets. If they were lucky, they might find scraps of food thrown their way. More often than not, however, they would resort to foraging through garbage heaps, searching for anything edible.
The situation was dire, but after arriving at Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala, these cows now receive the care they deserve. They are provided with chaff, bran, green fodder, and sometimes jaggery, ensuring they are well-fed and healthy. Every week, a veterinary doctor visits the gaushala to check on the health of these animals, addressing any medical needs they may have.
The Cost of Compassion
While we are dedicated to providing the best care possible, sustaining a gaushala of this scale is no small feat. With over 21,000 cows under our care, the cost of providing fodder alone is immense. Additionally, we must ensure that each cow receives the necessary medical attention, which further adds to our expenses. The sheer scale of our operations requires continuous support from compassionate individuals who understand the importance of our mission.
What We Do
At Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala, we believe in giving these cows not just a second home, but a second chance at a happy life. The cows under our care are docile, gentle beings who pose no harm to anyone. Yet, their lives are often marked by neglect and suffering until they find their way to our gaushala.
Many of the cows we rescue are disabled, deeply injured, or fighting for their lives after enduring horrific conditions. We bring them to our gaushala, where they are fed, sheltered, and looked after with the utmost care. Hundreds of gausewaks work tirelessly around the clock to ensure that these cows are comfortable and well-cared for.
The gauvansh are fed a nutritious mixture of fodder that includes wheat, mustard cake, green grass, bhusa (husk), and jaggery. They are given plenty of water and have acres of land to roam freely, allowing them to live peacefully in a safe and loving environment. Our team of expert doctors administers quality medicines to address the health needs of these vulnerable beings, particularly the elderly and destitute cows that we rescue from critical conditions.
Join Our Mission
Providing for such a large number of cows is a costly and challenging task, but it is one that we are fully committed to. However, we cannot do it alone. We need your support to continue our mission of providing essential fodder, medication, and care for these helpless cows and bulls.
Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in their lives, offering them the dignity and care they deserve. By collaborating with Shree Krishnayan Gauraksha, you can help us honor the invaluable contributions that cows have made to our lives. Together, we can ensure that these sacred animals live out their lives in peace and comfort.
Join us in our mission to provide food, shelter, and care for these innocent beings. Your support will help us continue to protect and nurture the cows that are so deeply woven into the fabric of our culture and spirituality. Let us honor our Gaumata by ensuring they receive the love and care they truly deserve.

Supporting Sacred Cows: How Your Donations Make a Difference
In many cultures, especially in India, the cow is considered sacred. Revered as a symbol of motherhood and abundance, the protection and care of cows is not just a tradition but a spiritual duty for many. However, with increasing urbanization, the rising number of stray and abandoned cows has become a concern. Thankfully, through your generous donations, you are contributing to the well-being of these gentle creatures. Let’s explore how your support makes a difference in the lives of sacred cows.
1. Providing Shelter for Stray Cows
Many cows end up abandoned on the streets due to financial constraints of their owners or their inability to produce milk. Shelters, also known as gaushalas, take in these cows and provide them with safe, nurturing environments. Your donations help maintain these shelters by providing for daily operational costs, feeding, and medical care. These gaushalas serve as sanctuaries, ensuring the cows live out their lives peacefully and with dignity.
2. Nutritious Food and Clean Water
Feeding cows can be an expensive endeavor, especially when hundreds are being cared for in one shelter. Donations contribute directly to the purchase of high-quality, nutritious feed. Balanced diets, including fodder, grains, and supplements, are crucial to maintaining the cows' health. Access to clean, potable water is equally essential. Every contribution helps ensure the cows receive proper nourishment and hydration.
3. Veterinary Care and Health Support
Just like any other living being, cows need regular health check-ups. From vaccinations to treating diseases and injuries, veterinary care is a significant cost for shelters. Your donations help cover these expenses, ensuring the cows receive timely medical attention. Many shelters also provide rehabilitation for injured cows, including prosthetics and surgeries.
4. Supporting the Preservation of Indigenous Breeds
India is home to a variety of indigenous cow breeds, many of which are facing extinction due to cross-breeding and lack of care. Shelters often focus on preserving these native breeds, which are not only culturally significant but also better adapted to local environments. Your financial contributions support breeding programs and awareness initiatives aimed at conserving these heritage breeds.
5. Spiritual and Cultural Preservation
For many, donating to cow protection is an act of spiritual merit. The cow, often referred to as Gau Mata, holds a sacred place in Hindu rituals and mythology. By supporting these shelters, you are also helping to preserve a long-standing cultural and spiritual tradition that honors the sanctity of all life forms. Many people find peace and fulfillment in knowing their donations are contributing to the spiritual cause of cow protection.
6. Environmental Impact
Cows are an integral part of sustainable agriculture, providing organic manure that enriches the soil and promotes natural farming. By supporting cow shelters, you are indirectly contributing to eco-friendly practices that benefit the environment. Many shelters utilize cow dung to produce organic fertilizers and biogas, reducing waste and promoting renewable energy.
7. Empowering Local Communities
Cow protection shelters often employ local residents, providing job opportunities in rural areas. From caretakers and veterinarians to those involved in the production of organic fertilizers, many individuals benefit from the employment generated by these shelters. Your donations play a pivotal role in empowering these communities and supporting local economies.
8. Opportunities for Volunteerism and Community Involvement
Many gaushalas rely on volunteers to help with daily activities. By donating, you not only support the cows directly but also enable volunteer programs that allow individuals to engage with their community, learn about animal care, and participate in meaningful service. Some shelters also offer educational programs for schools and families, spreading awareness about the importance of cow protection.
Conclusion
Your donations are far more than just a monetary transaction—they are a lifeline for sacred cows in need. By providing shelter, food, medical care, and support for local communities, you are ensuring that these revered animals are cared for with the respect and love they deserve. Together, we can continue to honor the sacred bond between humans and cows, making a lasting impact on their well-being and on our spiritual and cultural heritage.
Donate today and be part of this sacred mission!

Caring For Cows: How Can You Help?
Many of us want to care for and love the cows but don’t know how to help. Our cows need our help and support to get the best food, medicine, support, and shelter. Many Gauseva Organizations are there to contribute toward Gauseva. But foundations like Gauseva Foundation can’t do everything alone. Here’s how you can help to care for the cows.
Tumblr media
Contribute to Gauseva: The first thing we can do to care for cows is donating to Gauseva Foundations. Such organizations work towards sheltering, feeding, and caring for all needy cows with healthy fodder and medicine. These Gaushalas use your contribution for the following.
●        Rescue more cows.
●        Make more Gaushalas to keep the rescued cows.
●        Buy healthy food and medicine for cows.
●        Expand by hiring more people like you who love cows.
Tell more people: every time you donate to a Gauseva organization, you can track your progress as to where your contribution is going. You can:
●        Visit the Gaushalas at any time and check on the cows.
●        You can track how much food and medicine was bought for each cow with your donation.
When you feel satisfied, you can tell more people to join the organization via contribution or directly partnering for the cause. More cows will be rescued and cared for when more people know, which is the greatest satisfaction we will ever get.
Join a Gauseva shelter: Why not? If you have the time, you can join a Gaushala Organization and directly contribute towards rescuing and sheltering cows. This way, you can also tell your family members to help you out because your family will know that you are doing a righteous act of Chaara Daan.
Help Gaushala: How? You already know the first way via Online Cow Food Donation. Another way is to inform. Let’s see how.
 ●        Every Gaushala and Gauseva organization has a helpline number or contact information, which you can get on the website.
●        Whenever you see a needy, injured, or hungry cow on the streets, roads, or outside your home, you can inform the people from the Gauseva of the cow’s location.
●        A member of the organization will come and take the cow to a safe shelter.
●        You will be updated on the cow’s condition so that you can feel happy that you helped rescue a voiceless creature today.
Take action yourself: Our cows give us so much, so we should also take some time to visit a Gaushala and feed and take care of the cows. Trust me. You will feel amazing doing this. Not only that, but you can also feed a cow outside your home. It will also feel good because cows will even eat a dry Roti out of your hand if your intention is love and care.
 ●        Try doing this. The cow will return the next day to your home. You can also adopt it if you want.
See, there are so many ways to love and care for cows. I hope that you understand the need to provide for our cows. Gauseva Foundation thanks you for reading.

Fodder for Cows: A Vital Cause That Deserves Your Support
In many parts of India, when cows grow old and stop producing milk, they are often seen as a burden and are cruelly abandoned by their owners. These gentle creatures, once revered as Gaumata, are left to fend for themselves without food, shelter, or care. Thousands of these innocent beings wander the streets, injured, malnourished, and homeless, searching for scraps of food in garbage heaps or being chased away from fields. Their plight is heart-wrenching, and their dignity is lost.
But at Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala, we are committed to changing this narrative. Our gaushala serves as a sanctuary for over 21,000 desi cows, providing them with shelter, nourishment, and medical care. These cows, who once roamed the streets helplessly, now live a life of dignity and peace, thanks to the tireless efforts of our dedicated gausewaks.
The Importance of Fodder for Cows
Providing fodder for such a large number of cows is no small task. It requires immense resources and dedication to ensure that every cow is fed, healthy, and cared for. At our gaushala, we feed these cows a nutritious mixture of chaff, bran, green fodder, wheat, mustard cake, and sometimes jaggery. This diet is essential for their well-being, especially for those who are old, injured, or have been abandoned.
In addition to providing nutritious food, we also offer regular medical care. Every week, a veterinary doctor visits our gaushala to check the health of our cows, administering quality medicines and addressing any health concerns. This comprehensive care ensures that our cows, particularly the elderly and destitute, live a comfortable and healthy life.
How You Can Help
However, providing for such a large number of cows is a costly endeavor, and we need your support to continue our mission. By collaborating with Shree Krishnayan Gauraksha, you can help us supply essential fodder, medication, and care for these helpless cows and bulls. Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in their lives, offering them the dignity and care they deserve.
Join us in our mission to provide food and care for these gentle beings and honor their invaluable contributions to our lives. Your support can help ensure that no cow is left hungry, homeless, or in pain.
Our Commitment and Accreditations
At Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala, we are committed to the highest standards of care and compassion. Our work has been recognized by several government bodies, including Niti Ayog, the Animal Welfare Board of India, the Uttar Pradesh Gau Sewa Ayog, the Uttarakhand Animal Development Board, and the Madhya Pradesh Gausewa Ayog. We are also registered under sections 12AA and 80G of the Income Tax Act, allowing your donations to be tax-exempt.
Moreover, we are proud to be certified by the Government of India and have received ISO certification for our services. We do not sell milk or milk products; instead, we distribute them freely to saints, tapasvis, gausewaks, and ashrams, ensuring that our cows receive the best care without any commercial exploitation.
Join Us in Our Mission
Today, more than 21,000 destitute cows are living a happy and peaceful life at Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala. We not only give these cows a second home but also a second chance at a happy life. These docile creatures do not harm anyone, and we cannot leave them to meet a fatal end. My Stories(none of the names are final)
Agent Stone
A girl named Alex Stone at the age of 16 got recruited to a secret agency but when she’s on her first mission to save a mother and son who were walking over a bridge but got blown off by a car that lost control the mom makes Alex save her son and sacrifices herself so Alex while working at the agency and going to school now raises a son. He never tells her he isn’t her own though and he was too young to remember up until a villain unravels Alex’s past by showing the boy the footage of Alex saving him and his mom falling into the water below.
Ashton Hampton
Ashton Hampton is based on a boy traveling around a region in the pokemon world called Rigito but during the days of Conquest. He wants to join a kingdom but since he doesn’t have a pokemon he gets turned away until he saves an Absol mother and her egg but the eggs mother only made it back to her home before dying so Ashton goes back to the kingdom with the Absol egg and demands to join.
Avatar
My own twist on the Avatar the Last Airbender world where there’s a group of kids who each bend different things and one of their friends winds up becoming the avatar. But after losing control over her powers the avatar kills her parents and one of her friends and goes dark to where she becomes the villain and her friends have to defeat her.
Dakota Trueheart
A boy genius who has grown up in a family of villains but doesn’t want to follow that path gets framed and tossed in prison with a life sentence so he breaks out and winds up stealing some items from the evidence locker to protect himself and change out of his prison outfit into and doesn’t realize some of it is alien tech until he gets snatched and taken in by the aliens. They wind up teaming up to save Earth and get the aliens old planet back from the other aliens that had taken it over making the retreat to Earth.
Into The Digital World
Just a twist on Digimon with a few of my friends as characters getting sucked into the digital world receiving Digimon and having to save both Earth and the Digital World.
Mythology Warriors
A story where there are a group of kids that go to the same school who learn they each follow a different gods path but suddenly one day they lose connection to their gods and have to train and save them from their captors.
Stone
Another pokemon story this is based before a pokemon rp I did with some friends when I was younger and follows my main character before the happenings in the rp.
Sutrora
On a planet where there are many different islands each with different magic users not knowing about the others and just having heard stories one island makes their god angry forcing them to retreat. When they retreat though only a few of the kids made it to the next island proving that the stories were true as one of the babies uses fire magic in ice magic territory.
FROM HERE ON ARE MY MAIN STORIES
Basically in 2040 Americans found a portal gate and as the team got there to figure it out it turned on. They sent through a crew of people and animals with plenty of weapons and food and as they were whisked through the portal it closed as they arose on the other side on a planet a few galaxies away called Primwall. But as they landed the noticed something changed. The dogs they brought through were the same but any chickens turned giant, cows became super small, cats became different colors of pure electricity, and horses grew wings. All the food that came through even canned began growing across the world. All their guns turned into magically imbued swords and bows and daggers. And finally the humans in this land were gifted the ability to use magic.
Primwall
Primwall follows Asmund, Scarlett, Victoria, and (I keep changing his name cause it hasn’t felt right yet). Asmund and Scarlett are children of the four strongest guards of the realm and Victoria is the princess of the kingdom of Elkmire. One day during a huge ball at the castle intruders storm the castle causing Asmund and Scarlett’s parents to grab them and since Victoria was with them they took her with and ran through a secret exit in the wall into the woods across the plains outside of the castles wall. Hiding in a cave they heard a screaming that their parents knew all too well as a Banshee. And as they’re guards of the kingdom Asmund and Scarlett’s parents charge in to fight the banshee and Asmund and Scarlett quickly follow with their legendary weapons Asmund’s sword Hailstorm a sword that boosts his speed and can freeze anything it slices through and Scarlett’s spear Valkyrie which can change into multiple forms and has a multitude of abilities. They arrived at the village of Emera and as the Banshee went to kill the leader time froze for everyone except for the banshee, Scarlett, and Victoria who took it down but when time unfroze the leader wound up dying leaving them to take over the village and lead them.
Worlds on Fire
At the end of Primwall Victoria wakes up in a hospital room. She had dreamt all of her adventures while in a coma since a very young age but she had really created a whole new world and the two dimensions were clashing together creating random portals across Earth and Primwall that could only be seen by people from Primwall leaving the crew trying to figure out how to stop the worlds from fully fusing possibly destroying both without the help of Victoria’s as her real body was worn and weak from laying in bed for years.
Draconics
At the end of Primwall Arcus the Elemental Dragon one of the gods of the world had released some of his scales and they drifted into multiple newborn babies giving them strong magical abilities. When they reached their pre-teen years Arcus brought them into a school to teach them how to use their magics, the secrets behind their magics, and even how to transform into dragons. Up until one of their own turns against them and works alongside one of the evil gods frozen in a glacier at the southern pole of Primwall.
Starlight
Starlight focuses on the Starlight family of Nova, Lyss, Florina, Minerva, Araceli, and Giel (primarily Nova, Lyss, and Giel). When Nova’s father dies he takes up the quests Giel was on of collecting all of the Celestial Pendants in the world some strange things start happening and enemies start coming at the family from all sides until Nova unlocks his true history and his and Lyss’ worlds come crumbling in.
Astrid & Anastasia
Astrid & Anastasia takes place after Starlight and after Rixheia one of the most powerful trickster gods had taken over all of Primwall and Astrid and Anastasia decide to take their kingdom back.
Vixen Chronicles
Vixen Chronicles takes place after Astrid & Anastasia and after a portal is created to allow Earthlings and Primwallians to cross between worlds peacefully until an Earthling gets back from visiting Primwall and tries to use magic that he didn’t even have fully in control in a place where it’s easy to use magic and accidentally releases a curse that affects every Earthling and the daughter and mother Vixen duo have to find a way to cure the Earth of the curse.
Mythic Quest
In the beginning of the world of Primwall the first people to learn magic cast the mythical creatures of fairies, mermaids, vampires, elves, dwarves, orcs, etc. to a singular small continent and cast invisibility and barrier charms around it to make it invisible to anyone and to where it would turn anyone away that was sailing towards it. But when the citizens of Templar find the coordinates of the island out from some ancient text they decide to destroy the mythics forever and launch a time bomb tarp over the barrier that’s set to go off after 2 days and take out the barrier and whole continent. So each of the five civilizations of Dwarf, Elf, Werewolf, Fairy, and Vampire send a member. The fairies send Echo Cauberry who uses Wind Magic and Rune Magic and can read ancient fairy text and has a Wind Fairy heirloom that’s a bo staff. Hildoulin Miota was sent by the dwarves and she uses a holographic 3D printer that can scan a body and quickly print out armor, along with this she’s the daughter of the leader of the dwarves. Scorch Traymeda was sent as cannon fodder by the Werewolf Clan as she’s a Lava Werewolf with an attitude, she can use fire, lava, ash, and smoke magics and transform into a large wolf at will. Alvira Bloomwall was sent by the vampires as she’s the leader of the vegan vamps that won’t drink fresh blood they drink blood from blood packs donated from the different civilizations every few months, along with this she uses mist control and mind control. Finally there’s Aqualin Mitduff a Mer-Elf that was send by the elven civilization, he can use water and bow magic and uses a bow heirloom, along with this he can walk on land as long as he wants and then when he gets back into the water his legs fuse into a tail.
THE MYTHIC QUEST AND VIXEN CHRONICLES STORIES TAKE PLACE AT THE SAME TIME SO SOME PAST CHARACTERS ARE IN ONE AND SOME ARE IN THE OTHER NONE WILL BE IN BOTH UNLESS THE STORIES COME TOGETHER AT THE END OR SOMETHING!

Donating cows, especially in a society where they hold religious significance, promotes non-violence and care towards creatures. It’s a practice that encourages compassion and empathy, aligning with the broader Hindu principle of Ahimsa. Engaging in the donation for cows on spiritually significant days like Somvati Amavasya thus serves multifaceted benefits, aligning with spiritual beliefs, ethical values, and practical welfare. donating for cows on Somvati Amavasya, the intention behind the donation expressing gratitude, seeking blessings, and supporting a cause you believe in as important as the donation itself. Providing cows with nutritious feed such as grains, green grass, hay, and fodder is one of the most direct and beneficial ways to support them. Nutritious food contributes to their health and longevity.

GoSeva - Gosamrakshana
Let us know about the cow that has unique significance on par with the Vedas.
The cow is equal to Fire as ‘She’ was born on account of Homa which is associated with Fire. Butter and ghee are loved by the gods when extracted from the cow’s milk using the wooden churning stick called ‘Kavvam’. Our culture suggests gifting away cows and gold during the religious rites like Yajna and Yaga besides the rituals to propitiate our ancestors.
Tumblr media
1. Mata or Biological Mother - The mother who gave birth to us; 2. Mother Cow – Cow. 3. Bhoo Mata Bhudevi (Earth) 4. Sri Mata – Goddess Mother Goddess Mother, the deity in the Temples, presents ‘Herself’ in our midst in the above four forms to protect us by removing our difficulties and sufferings. There are 33 crore deities in the Gomata or Cow Mother.
2. If we circle the cow, it is equal to circumnavigating 33 Crore Gods in addition to our godly ancestors.
3. Feeding grass to a cow is like actually making an offering to the most supreme god or goddess.
4. Worshiping a cow is like worshiping a goddess.
5. We are not permitted to touch the idol of the deity in the sanctum sanctorum and decorate it with our hands. But if we decorate a cow it is equal to decorating a goddess.
6. If cows and calves walk on the ground, the dirt and dust that rises from their legs will fall on us when we walk behind them. Then it is as if we had bathed in a sacred Ganga. Such holiness exists only on this earth in the form of a cow.
Tumblr media
7. Serving cows makes us get rid of our sins accumulated over several births. It also leads to having good offspring. This is in addition to obtaining divine grace easily. We will be blessed as such with various fortunes.
8. Goseva & Gosamrakshana - Cows are most auspicious animals. They are very dear to Lord Krishna. Everything of the cow including urine and dung is beneficial to human society. The root word, "Go" translates to cows, cattle, virtue, earth, water, sky, Veda, and the Word.
Lord ‘Govinda’ is the one who protects all the above.
The home, place, State, and country where the cow resides will keep flourishing with all kinds of fortunes. Those who are unable to perform the ancestral rites and rituals of annual ceremonies as laid down in the scriptures in the correct order may offer grass, vegetables, fruit, and fodder to the cow the way she eats them while remembering the said ancestor. Then, it is equal to propitiating our godlike ancestors and delivering them to the higher worlds. Doing this is equal to obtaining ‘Punya’ of repaying the debt we owed to them as their progeny.
Even while properly conducting ancestral rites, making an offering to the cow will still yield good results. We extend such a great opportunity on behalf of Jagadguru Peetham. You may contact us in connection with the service programs such as donating land for cowsheds, gifting cows for the conservation of cattle, offering grass and fodder for sustaining cows, and/ or donating useful medicines that would give strength to the cows.

Lumpy Skin Disease Is Killing Thousands Of Cows, Donate To Save Their Lives
While our dear Chief Minister Honorable Yogi Adityanath ji calls for conservation of Gauvansh, the truth on streets is sad and bitter. There are hundreds of cows roaming on streets of #noida alone who are infected with LSD Virus & are further spreading it as the sick gauvansh is neither being isolated nor rescued.
Lumpy Skin Disease is killing lakhs of gaumatas and gauvansh, (Cows) of India daily. Indian Express Says that in Lumpy skin disease: Nearly 1 lakh cattle have already died, toll has almost doubled in three weeks.
What Sophie Memorial Animal Relief Trust has decided to do about Lumpy Cow Disease:
Sophie Memorial Animal Relief Trust (SMART Sanctuary) is an effort towards making the life of the voiceless happier, healthier & safer by rescuing & rehabilitating old, terminal, disabled, abused and abandoned animals.
The Trust is a Forever Tribute to Sophie, the Indian Pariah Dog Daughter of Kaveri & Yashraj Bhardwaj who passed away in 2017 at the age of 12 years.
SMART Sanctuary in collaboration with Parwah has launched, India's very first private, nonprofit, dedicated Lumpy Skin Disease Cow Treatment and Isolation center in #Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The SMART Cow Sanctuary will also be a forever home to all rescued cows and bulls.
We have rented a huge piece of land which can accommodate 200 sick cows at any given point of time. We are retrofitting it with basic necessities, fodder, medicines, supplements, electricity, water etc. and it will be operational soon.
We plan to rescue cows infected with LSD Virus, bring them to SMART Cow Sanctuary Noida, treat them with utmost compassion, care & best Veterinary services. The recovered cattle will be adopted by Sophie Memorial Animal Relief Trust.
