Donald, at that time, was going through a lot and sometimes would mistake dewey with della well before dewford became dewey it was at first Dalilah which can be a little similar, either way dewey didn't enjoy being called Della or Delilah they...felt wrong..

I'm also going to post his first designs like I did with the other parental figures boys had while they were sepreated.

Donald had a lot of desings, and also, I wanted to mention that I didn't really know how to draw his beak at first, but somehow I did it ☆

I wanted to give him long hair (feathers) at first, but it didn't look good. At least I didn't like it, so I shortened them, but he did have longer hair (feathers) in the past

(Fun fact hair in my story says a lot about a person. If a character goes from long hair to short, it can mean they are healing and trying to get better, just like that trend that the hair hold memories or just bc they wanted to change how they look, which in donald case means he's healing after the lost of his sister and sepreation between him and the kids and the feeling of a total failure)
