Between TF and my other fandoms like BG3 and TES, I keep finding myself making OCs that have some element of "battle hardened hero who is actually good and righteous, but so traumatized by the toll of war that even after the war ends they feel empty/wrecked and can't enjoy the fruits of victory" and I'm not sure if it's bc I gravitate to a certain type of media where such OCs fit in best, or bc I have a specific character archetype I like and gravitate towards media that contains those things.
I almost feel the need to apologise for my art. sorry it's like this. sorry it can't be better. sorry I made it. sorry that I uselessly hope you'll like it. sorry.
your frustration turns into tears quickly. the strength of your fury is so potent that it sets off the waterworks out of pure rage. you hate it, because whoever's pissed you off thinks it's funny, like you're not tough and you can't defend yourself. you can, you just need to get through the haze of emotions first.

You know... As someone who's spent almost 20 years of my life drawing, learning to improve, constantly trying out new techniques, learning new media, figuring out how lighting, coloring and anatomy works, yearning to become more skilled...
... it feels super disheartening that something a lazy tech bro farted out via MidJourney is gonna be deemed more impressive and more attention-grabbing, than someone who has put honest effort and hard work into making it.
