Just gonna jump into that whole Gojohime/Shokohime/SatoSugu ask. It's funny though how people will go out their way and create various headcanons for their ship in this case Gojohime and shove it down onto others claiming how it's a good ship and how suddenly Gojo doesn't use infinity around Utahime?? Lol and apparently to them those are facts that they like to create. And no this is not just Gojohime I've seen many other shippers do this aswell and create a whole ass confusion amongst the fandom. Second it's just when i thought that at least one fandom would be less inclined to show their homophobic side when it comes to queer ships. Everytime i see someone say they ship SatoSugu there are always people like "stop making everything gay" or "Gojo is straight af, he had a model as a phone wallpaper" and I'm here like, disgusted? People will find any sort of way to "justify" their het ships with any sort of headcanons their heteronormativity makes forcing it to have some sort of romance while in reality it doesn't? And then there's SatoSugu that actually has the most evidence on romance throughout the story yet it gets ignored, in this case by homophobes who like to claim that Gojo is straight based off on one wallpaper and how Gege actually in fact did not say that Gojo is unfaithful but yet the clarified answer was he cannot commit to anyone. And don't get me started on Shokohime, the ship is there but it's taken the biggest backseat because apparently people like when men pick on people and annoy them to the bone. For once though, all of this is debunked because Gege literally confirmed that no female character will be getting a romantic storyline and the only one that could "have" it was Miwa. Has anyone just taken a moment to think that maybe romance is not the dynamic he envisions for his characters? This is not a shojo, or we are reading a different manga for all i know. SatoSugu doesn't even have to be canon, but pretending that they didn't have that sort of dynamic and chosing to be ignorant displays where they are coming from. And no i am not defending m/m ships or any other queer ships either because they tend to do the same stuff het shippers do. Only difference is I'm now giving a small example of what i saw from some of the fans and how they respond. That's all, thanks for reading :)
