Dionysus is showing his young sister Euposia a bunch of grapes.

Note: Euposia ("Abundance") is an unusual goddess identified from an inscription found at Sardis. Her name was incomplete, so "Euposia" is just a restoration. I think the name is reasonable since it appears on some Sardian coins featuring a Tyche-like figure and in a Hierapolitan statue dedicated to Thea Euposia.

Euposia is one of the children of Kore, and there is some flimsy evidence suggesting that Dionysus was named ΔIONYCOC KOPAIOC (pertaining to Kore) on Sardis coins. Furthermore, Dionysus is famously known as the son of Kore in myths. It turns out they are brother and sister, at least nominally.

Devils and Dice _ Sketch WIP

HI! This is another sketchy wip! I generally prefer to show the final product, but it's just to show how I work. The first two and the last are a little cleaner, but still a sketch, while 3,4,5 are totally sketchy. I didn't add the dialogues here to check if the images are suggestive enough. This is also just a preview, I've already done other scenes.

I like to imagine that the two devils would like to compete to see who is more diabolical and powerful, to establish who is the real devil, while the two Dice would immediately like each other, regardless of the antipathies between their respective bosses.

Mostly 90s issues (including the TV Movie Special), a few from the 2000s and 2010s are present as well. I also included special issues from other magazines since, though not DW magazine, have DW in it (such as the Radio Times and Time Out issues). So this might just be me, so take this anecdote with a grain of salt (or several). I lived on the west side of the mountains, and I had a friend over yonder in central Oregon, and the most direct route to visit them was over Crater Lake Pass. Whenever I could, I'd stop at the lake to just breathe for a bit before going on my way because guys, I don't think you can appreciate exactly how stupid drivers can be on steep, windy mountain roads with blind corners.

Anyway, so I'm crossing the pass in winter, which for the record is a terrible idea. Remember how "snow is common" up there? The snow banks on either side of the road were easily TALLER THAN MY CAR. Needless to say, the lake was closed for the winter and I couldn't visit. I stopped at the gate anyway and looked up toward the lake and of course couldn't see anything, but said hi anyway. It's a gorgeous area.

As I continue on my way down the other side of the pass, I realize exactly how bad of an idea this was - I can't use my breaks. The road is covered in packed snow and ice, and my car starts sliding into the oncoming lane as I approach a blind corner. There was nothing I could do.

Thank every god, spirit, and eldritch being watching me that day - there was no one else on the road. But I swear to you by everything I believe in, something nudged my car back into the correct lane before I could regain control of my vehicle.
