I get so confused when I see people saying that Zeus and Hera are being portrayed as a happy/healthy couple in Hades 2, or being portrayed as decent people, cause I fully do not see it that way. (In comparison to the actual mythology they are but they still aren’t like, healthy or benevolent rulers? Or parents. Hera fucking hates Hephaestus in every duo dialogue I’ve gotten with him)

To me They are that couple that’s like “oh marriage is SO SO HARD so much HARD WORK” and are shocked when they see a happy married couple and are like “oh give it a few years ball and chain haha”

literally your duo boon makes you give up all the boons of one of them. Heras legendary is called “bold face” or something. (Like putting on a bold face in your marriage that is falling apart…?) It’s especially a contrast to the other couples in the games.

Season 1: pilot episode because duh

season 2: either right after Dean came back because John sold his soul for him or after he brings Sam back from the dead and Sam finds out about his deal

season 3: day Dean’s deal comes due

season 4: … not really sure but I’d say 4x14

season 5: right before Sam goes in the cage (don’t worry the baby is fine)

season 6: not until Sam got his soul back because Dean can’t get his brother pregnant if the vibes are off

season 7: hard to say because Sam kept hallucinating being pregnant but towards the end right before Dean goes poof into purgatory

season 8: before their divorce arc and that’s also what brings them back together

season 9: night before Dean dies and becomes a demon

season 10: oooooh during Dean being a demon… Cas comes in and stops Dean only after they’ve fucked a bunch 😭

season 11: shortly after Sam getting off his knees, to get out on his back, after willingly going to allow Dean to kill him with the whole mark of Cain thing and then the darkness comes

season 12: he was pregnant when he was kidnapped

season 13: sometime midway after seeing how good Sam is with Jack and needing to get him pregnant right away

season 14: Lebanon. Dean fucks Sam all sorts of nasty with their parents in the bunker. Sam’s SUPER embarrassed but Dean’s doing it to stale his claim on Sam because sure they’re all related, but Dean is ALL the family Sam needs. Sam asked, “Daddy, pass the salt at dinner.” And John and Dean both reached for it, so Dean punched John in the nose for being presumptuous.

season 15: sometime after defeating Chuck but before the barn scene I’ll say the five year span was canon for this so Dean got some time with his youngest
