Okay don’t judge me for this but I have a headcanon for Darry that I’m unsure if people will like it-

Before Soda and Pony were born Mrs. Curtis and him would go to the outskirts of Tulsa to a small, flowery hill to collect flowers for their dinner table. Darry liked bluebells the best and constantly brought them back home but he kept them to himself.

That’s super cute though!! i love to headcanon mr curtis as a nature kind of guy and i can see him taking darry on a fishing outing and he just takes four year old darry to a field after and is like “y’know what? i think your mama would like some flowers, what’d you think, champ?” and him and little four year old darry just come back with a bunch of flowers (maybe this is around the time she’s pregnant with sodapop) and he’s like “i got these for you and the baby!” and she starts crying and he thinks he hurt her feelings lol-this is a super cute headcanon! maybe post book pony and soda bring him bluebells whenever he’s upset!

Q. What is Crown of Roses?

A. Crown of Roses is my Henry Stickmin AU- its story is told through comics that I post on different social media platforms! As for the synopsis…

The Aquatic Division of the Toppat Clan and most of its inhabitants have blown up in a sudden and unexplained "accident", leaving Ellie Rose- one of the few survivors- to be transferred to the airship division, home of Chief Terrence Suave himself. But Suave isn't all he seems to be, and Ellie has taken it upon herself to overthrow him- accompanied by her two new friends, Reginald and "Lefty". But Suave has eyes everywhere... and everyone has a secret to hide.

This prequel-fic comic is named an AU mostly for minor inconsistencies (The way Sven talks about the airship implies that he was part of a different division, whereas in this he's part of the airship, for example), but I hope you can enjoy it nonetheless! It is heavily inspired by a side game that never saw the light of day (though funnily enough I came up with the basic idea before hearing about this!)

Q. May I make fanart of your AU?

A. Fanart / fan content for this AU is always allowed! And you can of course ship whoever you want (within reason, which should go without saying :P), and if you draw it I’d love to see the fanart ;) even if it isn’t a canon ship! Q. How old are the characters? / It’s weird to ship Reginald and Ellie.

A. Some character ages are changed in this AU! Not to an insane degree- no child-to-adults or adult-to-minors….and most of the ages aren’t confirmed in-game anyways, so I guess it’s not definitely changing? But still, there have been some changes! For now, here’s what I’ll say for ages (they are subject to change, and are mostly to show the basic differences between character ages!)

Carol is 22. Ellie and Sven are 23. Reginald and Burt are 24. Lefty is 30. Terrence Suave is in his 50s.

And yes, Copperrose is a weird ship :) the weirdness of it was actually what inspired me to make an overly-angsty-crack AU….which eventually turned into a story that I’m proud to say seems to be beloved by quite a few people!

Q. Any disclaimers I should know for this blog / AU?

A. This blog DOES contain fictional gore, violence, suicide, alcoholism, references abuse, manipulation….etc. Viewer discretion advised! Charlie: I thought we could have some snacks today. We have milk and cookies.

*Adam perked up at the thought of snacks, after having to toil to make food for his family Adam loved indulging in good foods in the afterlife which was how he had gotten a dad bod, hearing Adam talk about how much of a struggle his mortal life was after Eden she understood why these foods that didn’t exist when he was alive would look so good, the cookies were chocolate chip with milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, and white chocolate chips with two large glasses of chocolate milk since that was how Adam preferred dipping his cookies into milk*

Adam: Yeah, I knew I was attracted to both men and women before even the concept of bisexuality was really thought of. I hated that I was used to promote homophobia with that stupid “It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.” This whole religious homophobia garbage was made by humans, I was never judged for my attractions in Eden. But it just hurt so much that I could never tell your dad how I felt because he ran with Lilith.

Anyone who is neurodivergent struggle with showering? I find it to be a chore rather than self-care because I believe I could be doing something more important with my time than bathing. Hey, thanks so much for the fic suggestion the thing is I kinda tried to focus on non incest ships in the fics I recommend. NOT that I judge anyone who reads it because fanfiction is a judgement free zone it’s just that it the hotd fandom in particular people have become way to comfortable condoning incest because Daemon and Rhaenyra aren’t frowned upon enough by the general public so I didn’t want to contribute to that in any way

I think only one fic from the ones I recommended had a AegonxHeleana shipping at the center of it although I like to think that doesn’t really count because in that fanfiction Sansa was reborn as Helaena so they aren’t really siblings. I also included some Rhaenicent fics because it’s only pseudo-incest and they’re the same age so I don’t really categorize it as incest.

Note About Me

So a family member recently found my tumbler and wasn’t excited about it. I ended up needing to explain some things and I feel like I should do the same thing here for people who have followed be for a while and noticed a change of content in the last few months 😂

I used to strictly be a Christian blog. I wouldn’t post anything to do with other things I was interested in. Honestly, mostly because I was afraid of losing followers. Because I had more than I ever imagined getting and loved interacting with you. But then I noticed I’m doing the same thing now, afraid of posting anything similar to Christian content out of fear of scaring away the beautiful friends I’ve made since I began posting Greta content. So I figured to ease my chronically anxious brain, I would just set some things straight, just so everyone knows who I am.

I love Jesus. I pray often, and sometimes read my Bible (though it’s a very updated version from what I grew up with) but…and this is where my family was a bit upset…I love Jesus, but I don’t love the church and Christian practices. I grew up in extremely religious family and am now dealing with a lot of trauma because of that. That is not something I plan on doing to my child. So I no longer attend church and don’t really plan to unless my child asks.

My reasonings for leaving the church are vast but to summarize, I could no longer pretend I agreed with a community who shamed and condemned a whole community of people. I could no longer pretend I agreed that people in the LGBTQ+ were going to hell simply for being who they are. Even before I discovered I myself was a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I could no longer pretend I agreed that my only place was in the kitchen, cleaning up after my kids and my husband. That it was okay that my boyfriend at the time was verbally abusing me because he took care of me financially and at least he wasn’t hitting me.

I left because I realized that that community of people are the exact opposite of what I believe Jesus is. Now I know not all Christians are like this. I know many people who are Christians and are still very good people. But my community was toxic. So I left. I’m still dealing with the trauma caused to me because of how I was raised. I’m not even out to my family as of right now, though I plan to some day when it feels right.

So yes I love Jesus. He brings me peace and love. But I am also a safe place on this platform for those who don’t otherwise feel safe talking to people who follow Jesus. I want you to feel free and safe to talk with me, about literally anything and know that I would never judge you or shove any of my beliefs down your throat. Judgement free zone.

Not to get too deep but I agree with you that a lot of things went into my confidence growth this passed year. But something about this group (and your blog) is so freeing.
