Kenny Omega spent all of 2024 recuperating from diverticulitis. He rerturned in January to pick up where he left off, feuding with the Don Callis Family. Callis turned on Will Ospreay a few months back, so now Kenny and Will have joined forces. Right now there's five active members of the Don Callis Family (if you count Don), but Callis has teased there are more in reserve...

The Adam Cole/MJF saga ended up with a double turn, as Max went heel and Cole returned from his ankle injury as a babyface. Max's whole deal now is resenting the fans for "abandoning" him, and trying to act like that doesn't affect his judgement. He's been setting up a feud with Jeff Jarrett of all people, and teasing something with Hangman Page.

Chris Jericho won the ROH men's world title from Mark Briscoe a couple of months ago; I expected them to do a rematch but there's no sign of it happening. Jericho reinvented himself as a dipshit heel character leading a stupid faction. Everyone wishes Big Bill and Bryan Keith would turn on Chris but it hasn't happened yet.

Christian Cage won a contract that guarantees him a world title match whenever he wants, with no advance notice, kind of like WWE's Money in the Bank contract. He and his faction have been feuding with HOOK, Samoa Joe, and Katsuyori Shibata. I think eventually Christian will put his contract on the line against one of those three guys, but the feud has been dragging out forever so I don't know if it'll ever happen.

Harley Cameron has unexpectedly become a popular underdog babyface; it seems like she gets time on every show to do a comedy bit. She wants a shot at Mercedes Mone for the TBS title at the Australia show on 2/15. Mone (correctly) says she hasn't won enough matches to deserve a shot. Harley is Australian so I'm pretty sure something will happen so she can get the match.

The Elite (Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada) were trying to run AEW as evil heel authority figures, but the Death Riders scared off the Bucks and Perry. It's not clear when they'll return. Okada is still doing his sassy heel gimmick all alone, and it looks like he'll be facing Buddy Matthews soon.

The Acclaimed recently broke up, with Max Caster turning into such a delusional egomaniac that Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn couldn't put up with him anymore. I suppose Caster vs. Bowens will happen someday, but they don't seem to be in a hurry.

The Hurt Business faction from WWE jumped over to AEW as the Hurt Syndicate. MVP seems to be wrestling on a limited basis. Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin just won the tag title from Private Party. AEW hasn't really been heating up any of the other tag teams, so I don't know who will get the next title shot.
